Chapter 337 - A Misunderstanding!!

" We're here." The manager announced as he stopped the car in front of the Glory Building, where Luo Dan lives. 

The awkwardly-silent ride was finally over. 

Luo Dan sighed in relief as, during the whole ride, she was wondering what to say and how to react to reduce the tension in the air. However, the awkwardness didn't last for long as they reached their destination soon enough. 

Luo Dan held onto her phone and a shiny clutch bag, ready to leave, and turned to Han Liang, " Thanks for the ride. Also, thanks for earlier too. It means alot." 

If not for Han Liang's encouraging words, she would have never stood up against Luo Wuying and taught him a lesson. 

" Ah, Yes. Well, it was nothing much. The ride, I wasn't the home who was driving so…Haha" He laughed awkwardly.

The manager sitting in the front seat couldn't help but chuckle to see Han Liang's broken expressions. He was showcasing his malfunctioning expressions at the moment. 

He never thought that the Prince charming of every girl's dream, the great Han Liang cannot even speak properly in front of a girl he likes. Tch!

After bidding goodbye to Han Liang, Luo Dan got out of the car and entered the building. However, as soon as she went inside, she was startled to see the person standing near the elevator. 

" Jia Fei?" She exclaimed in surprise to see Jia Fei waiting for the elevator. However, that was not the surprising part. What was more surprising was, she was not alone. 

Jia Fei was barely standing on her own and was leaning her body to Yuhan for support. Her hair was messy and her liner and lipstick were smudged, making her look like a zombie. 

Luo Dan frowned at the man who was standing next to her. It was the same man who was on a blind date at the hotel last time, where she went together with Jia Fei for lunch.

" Yo, Luo Luo!! You're back? I missed you." Jia Fei waved at her excitedly and shouted before running to hug her. 

Yuhan pursed his lips awkwardly to see Luo Dan and nodded at her in greeting, which got ignored by Luo Dan who was still scrutinizing him. 

" You're drunk?" Luo Dan frowned when Jia Fei came to hug her. She held onto her and glared at Yuhan who raised his hands in defense, " It wasn't me. She drank it herself." 

" I was just dropping her home since she was too drunk." He explained. 

At that moment, Luo Dan relaxed a bit but wasn't sure completely. " Well, thanks for dropping her home. I'll take her from here. You can leave. " she said indifferently.

" And you, are you stupid or what? How can you drink so much to get yourself drunk like this?" She lectured the drunk Jia Fei who was hanging onto her for her life. 

" Ah, why are you so heavy?" she grunted while holding onto drunk Jia Fei while struggling to manage her dress and the high heels that she was wearing. 

Yuhan looked at them awkwardly and pursed his lips hesitantly seeing them struggling like that. " Well, do you need any help? She looks quite drunk. Are you sure you can handle her yourself?"

Luo Dan stopped and shot him a glare. " No, thanks. I'll manage," she replied. 

She has only seen this man once and wasn't sure of Jia Fei's connection with this man. What if he was trying to take advantage of Jia Fei's drunken state earlier? Who knows? 

Seeing Luo Dan's hostile reaction, Yuhan was about to leave when Jia Fei started shouting again, " Oi, aren't you going to apologize to me? What do you mean I am not good enough to date you?"

" How can you call me cheap and disgusting?" she shouted while pouting upsettingly. 

Yuhan: "....."

Luo Dan: "....."

Yuhan's eyes widened upon hearing Jia Fei's comment. Well, she wasn't lying but he never said such words. It was his mother, not HIM. 

The situation is already complicated enough and her comment only made the situation worse. 

Luo Dan was shocked upon hearing Jia Fei's comment. Was Jia Fei rejected by this man? Even if that's the case, how can he reject her so bluntly? Is he a bully or what? 

Luo Dan took a sharp breath and glowered at Yuhan, " You...did you tell her that she is not good enough for you? Like seriously? Who do you think you are?"

" Do you even know how many people die to even get a picture with her? How can you say that she is not good enough for you?" Luo Dan boasted about Jia Fei. 

Although she also cringed at her words a little, but who cares? She's gonna tell this man how precious her Jia Fei is. 

" I know that she is a little crazy, she can be loud and blunt sometimes. But even if it is, how can you reject her so heartlessly? Cheap and disgusting? That's not only heartless but utterly rude." 

Yuhan shakes his head in denial, " No. No. No. I never said that. I can never reject her because our relationship is not like that, seriously."

" Then how can you explain what she said just now?" Luo Dan demanded. 

" Well, it's a bit complicated. That's not what I said, it's my mom. I can never say that."

" Your MOM? So things have gone that far? You already introduced her to your parents and allowed her to be humiliated like that? That's unacceptable." she scoffed in disbelief. 

How can Jia Fei get herself a guy like that? And more than that, how can she not say a word to her about him? 

" Yes!! It's unacceptable. Beat the BiTch!! I am the best, Yooowoo!! Yaya!!" Jia Fei started hooting again in Luo Dan's ears. 

Yuhan sighed heavily to see Jia Fei's crazily drunk condition and Luo Dan who was misunderstanding the whole damn situation.

Just as he was wondering how to resolve this misunderstanding of hers and prove to her that he is not a bad guy, the elevator reached the ground floor and opened. 

" Oh! Yuhan?" Xu Nuan exclaimed in surprise. 

Yuhan looked at Xu Nuan, who was in the elevator and sighed in relief. Since Jia Fei knows Xu Nuan, Luo Dan must know her too. However, his expressions turned sour in an instant to see Han Zihao who was standing next to her. 

Xu Nuan was holding onto Han Zihao's arms intimately and they were even wearing matching couple t-shirts. Both of them were wearing a black t-shirt which had a large half heart shape printed on it and upon standing together, the broken heart becomes one.

' Can they become tackier than this?' He wondered. 

" Yuhan, what are you doing here?" Xu Nuan asked in confusion. 

Han Zihao glared at the man who appeared out of nowhere and held Xu Nuan by the shoulder and pulled her closer to show his claim. 

Yuhan was speechless to see Han Zihao's childish attitude and was about to explain to Xu Nuan, when Luo Dan interrupted, " Oh, Xu Nuan! Do you know this man? Is he your friend?" 

Xu Nuan then looked to the side and noticed Luo Dan who was dressed beautifully and was wearing heels. Whereas Jia Fei was dead drunk and was putting all of her weight on poor Luo Dan.
