57 An Angel Falling From Heaven

"Honey...Don't get mad at her. I just asked her to wear something nice tonight, since it's Erika's birthday party. But maybe she doesn't like the suggestion I give her." Saya tries to make a good impression as a wife on her husband.

"I'm not mad at her. I just a quite shock that seeing she scolding you." He said and loosen a bit his tie.

"Um, Honey..did you invite Akatsuki-san family to Erika's party today?"

"Yeah, I give them the invitation last week. If they had free time, they might come tonight." He said and went upstairs followed by Saya.

She smiling inside her heart.

"Erm, honey...Are Risa and Shou-Kun getting along together?"

"I think so."

"Umm..you know, Risa is a bit careless and too carefree. It somehow not suit with Akatsuki's image as someone respected in our country. Do you think it will be better if we talk this to Sata-san? You know.."

Stop his pace, he thinks about it a moment. He actually has a bit uneasy feeling every time he looks at Risa too close with Shou. He feels like there's jealousy inside his heart. The feeling is like he being cheated live in front of his eyes. The love that he holds for his late-wife is so strong that makes him somehow had the same feeling toward his own daughter.

"I don't know. He was the one who came up with this idea."

"Well, we do not only have one daughter, right?" She tries to slow talk with him.

"Erm...I'll tries to give the idea later, but if he refuses, I can't say more," Kenji said and went to the bathroom. He wants to take a bath and change his clothes.

Inside the room, Risa rubs her cheek. The pain that she feels is not even compared to the sadness that she feels right now.

"Mama..why did he always mistook me as you?" She wants to cry but then her phone ringing.

Looked at the caller, she wipes her tears.

"Yeah?"

"What are you doing?" Shou asks straightforwardly.

"Nothing in particular."

"Hmm? I heard there's a party at your family's mansion tonight."

"What about it?"

"Wanna come with me after the party?" He asks with a bit husky voice.

"Having sex again?" She scoffs a bit.

"Well, if you want..I can entertain you."

"Aren't you worried that you be caught with me by your girlfriend?"

"So what if I were caught with you? I'm your fiance."

"But you also had a bunch of girlfriends. And don't jinx me! I hate to deal with your girlfriends."

Chuckles, he did not reply to her. "Come on, I know you didn't like to stay long at your family mansion right? I get the chopper ready after the party."

"Where to?"

"Somewhere you might like."

"Whatever."

"Good. Then I'll see you tonight?. Oh, babe..please wear something decent. My family will be there too."

She ended the call.

'Urgh...I don't have any decent dress, you idiot!' She grunts inwardly.

While she was rummaging her drawer, suddenly there's a knock on her door.

"Come in," She said without looking at the door.

Mary went inside the room and once she saw Risa was looking for something, she asks her politely.

"Miss Risa-sama. Is there something that you're looking for?"

"Ah! Mary-chan..good timing, can you help me find something decent to wear for tonight?" She stands up and huffing a bit. Tired searching for the dress.

"Umm..if there's nothing that you like, how about if Risa-sama finds something on your mother's room? Master's old room." She tries to suggest it.

Rub her chin, she thinks a moment. 'Ah~ that's right.'

Her father closes that room once her mother died and never went there. All her mother's belongings still there and never been touched by that wicked woman. Only trusted servant like Mary-chan is allowed to go in there for cleaning.

"Hmm...Mary-chan, you do have the keys to the room right?" She asks and Mary nods her head.

"Alright. Let's find something there." She said and both of them went to the south wings of the mansion.

The party starts at 8 PM. A lot of family and friends start coming to their mansion.

Erika birthday often celebrated in a grand way. Different from her, she always celebrates it alone with no family at the village. Only her servant there who always buy her cakes and gift.

Everyone thought that Erika is the real daughter of her father with Saya. No one knows that actually, Erika is just a step-daughter. The real and only daughter is her. After her dad remarries, they never had any child carried by Saya.

Thus, it's only her who is legally hold half of the asset. It is also why Saya wants people to acknowledge her daughter and fit in their circle, at least her daughter can find someone rich enough to support her own life.

Unfortunately, the one she wants is her step-sister's fiance. The only heir for Akatsuki family, Akatsuki Shou.

He indeed is a handsome looking man. But his rumor which is quite a playboy makes Erika always attempt him with seductive way. Trying to lure him to her bed so that she can make him break up the engagement with Risa and choose her instead.

However, he is hard to get. All her seductive trick doesn't work at him. Indeed, he had many girlfriends, but he never wants to let go of Risa. That's what makes her wonder, why he still wants to keep Risa as his fiance. Is it because of the money and heritage value that she holds?

She needs to surpass her in everything. She will one day be the one who holds half of the asset instead of Risa. She will take everything that is Risa's to be hers.

She walks on the aisle to the room where the party held. All the guest gasp and smiles looking at her.

She wears a gown which looks like a princess. With her hair braided and her nudes makeup, she looks so innocent and pure. Everyone thinks she as the obedient daughter and the princess of Igarashi.

"Happy birthday Erika-sama." One of the guests said to her and toast her one glass of champagne.

"Thank you, Mr. Edo." She smiles at the man which is the director of one of his father's partner.

One after another cheering on her and toast to her. Saya at the center of the room smile happily.

She tugs her hand to her husband lovingly. Showing to everyone that they are a happy family.

Not long after, Risa also walks into the room. She wore her mother's wedding dress. She didn't know it was a wedding dress. She thought it just a dress that her mother keep it.

It is a mermaid white dress with a long sleeve lace. It is also had a peach pearl decorate on the edge of the dress until her waist. Her hair was styled with a messy bun and clipped with white flower accessories.

When she walked inside the room, all the guest couldn't help but look at her like she was an angel falling from heaven. Her face, her gesture all resemble her late mother. Sakura.

The guest who knows her mother start to remember her as her mother's daughter. One by one went to her and say the same thing.

"You must be Risa, the daughter of Sakura-san, right? You look beautiful as your mother. She must be really happy in heaven now."

"You're beautiful darling. Just like your mother."

"Your mother must be proud of you if she knew you would be this beautiful."

"Thank you." She said politely. Her gesture and tone, everything she does, she leaves the impression of a noblewoman.
