66 She Understands Me Better

Inside the auditorium, all student from a different course starts to fill up the seat. Lucky for Fine Art student, their management already set their seat with each name on it.

Because most of the committee member know about Ren Zhi and Xue Mei's relationship, they put their seat at side by side.

Sit at the designated seat, Xue Mei focuses her eyes on the stage. But that not long before she heard a gasping and 'kyaa' sound from behind their seat.

She diverts her eyes and looks in the same direction as other people look. See the person who just enters the Fine Art area, her eyes turn a bit wide. Not because she was jealous or anything, but because she was so beautiful.

Ha Eun walks alone to the auditorium wearing a retro floral printed, A-line dress in white color based while the flower in the peach blossom color. Her hair is styled with the sided loose and curl and side fringe too. She really gives an aura as a fairy.

"Oh my god! Is it senior Ha Eun? She really returns back?! I thought it just a rumor."

"Seriously? She couldn't even be compared to that Xue Mei."

"Damn! She's so beautiful. How I wish I was a man."

A few gossip and new assumption start to circle around them. Even though she could hear all those voices, she still acts calm and keeps the smiling on her face.

"Sorry." Ha Eun said politely when she went to her seat. Looking at the side. The two of them also a bit surprised. Her seat is designated at the right side of Ren Zhi!

Feeling uncomfortable, Ren Zhi turns to Xue Mei. Whisper to her, "You want to exchange seat with me?"

Xue Mei stares at his eyes for a moment. Well, no harm for both of them actually. It just a seat. She shakes her head.

"No. I trust you." She smiles and caresses his back of the hand.

Ren lost his word. He tries his best to not in contact with Ha Eun anymore so that he can really move on with Xue Mei. But her carefree attitude toward Ha Eun is beyond his imagination. She really trusts in him. A normal girlfriend already pouted or sulking right away now. But not her.

"If you feel uncomfortable, I can change my seat." Ha Eun said with an awry voice.

"Um, no need. Xue Mei is okay with it, right babe?" He replies to Ha Eun.

Turn to look at Ha Eun beside him, she smiles widely. "Of course it's okay! don't worry. Just watch this performance with us."

"Thanks, Xue Mei." She smiles brightly at her.

"Ah~ it's nothing."

'Ah~ she's so cute.'

Scrunches his eyebrow a bit, he says inwardly 'What's gotten into her? Why she so friendly?'

"Now, presenting the last winner for a spring festival, Feng Xui Li with a new singer this time, Lim K."

Xui Li went to the professional audio system while the man with a name Lim K went to the stage with a mic. Xui Li also wear a portable mic on his ear.

They will be presenting a song with a title Stranger In The North. A rap song is quite new to him, so he only sings as a backup singer and does all the music accordingly to the original pitch.

Snaps his finger three times, he starts.

"Stranger in the north / Don't ask about my hometown

Even these towering old walls / Can't block the sadness

Carrying on my shoulders a bag / Full of gloom"

And Lim K continues with a rap.

The audience starts to shouts to cheering. The performance was a big success. Xui Li always impress the jury with his different method. He also will always help his junior to gain name and popularity if he sees that a person has a talent.

Xue Mei claps her hand after his show is done. Happy to see the second performance of Xui Li. She always likes to listen to every music he played.

"He still as before huh?" Ha Eun smiles widely with both of her hand cupped her little mouth.

Turning his head to her, he says. "That's him."

"Haa~ how I miss my old days here." She said honestly. And that makes Ren Zhi silent and divert his eyes back to the stage.

"The next show is the one who got a second place last time. But tonight, she will do a solo performance. Let's give a big applause to Igarashi Risa!"

She with a sweet smile, she walks into the stage. With a simple evening gown, she stands up at the mic. Getting into the mood, she starts to sing a song from Utada Hikaru - First love.

Twitch her lips a bit, Xue Mei curses her from the audience seat.

'Damn you, Risa! Couldn't you see the atmosphere here?!'

While Ren Zhi and Ha Eun were a bit absorb with the song. Suddenly Ha Eun tears flow down on her cheek.

Not able to hold her sadness anymore, she stands up and leaves the auditorium in hurriedly.

Ren Zhi's heart suddenly feels hurt seeing she cry just now. If he can, he wants to hug her and ease her but that's impossible too. Xue Mei was beside him, and he doesn't want to create a problem with her.

Xue Mei notices there's a change in Ren Zhi's eyes. His face looks a bit gloom after Ha Eun went out. Nudges him a little, she whispers to him.

"Go and check on her."

Ren Zhi scrunches his eyebrow. Not understand why she keeps doing this.

Pull him closer again, she whispers "I don't like to see your sad face right now. Go. I will understand and Ren...I love you."

Smiling a bit to her, he kisses her cheek dearly. "I love you too." he stands up and leaves the auditorium.

All the eyes around them could see what's happening. While Xue Mei, she calmly sits at the chair and continues to watch the other student presenting their show.

Outside of the auditorium,

Ha Eun squatted down and cry at the side of the building. She covers her mouth with both of her hand so that she can't make a loud voice while crying.

"Ha Eun." Ren Zhi look around while calling her name.

Not long after, he could spot her at the side of the building. He went to her and he also squatted down in front of her.

"Hey, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" He pats her shoulder.

She didn't reply to him but she keeps crying.

"I don't know why you be this devastated. But please..everything has a solution, right? Come on. Don't cry." He pulls her hand from covering her mouth and brings her closer to him.

"D...Don't...Xue Mei will misunderstand it." She tries to speak up even though it was hard for her.

"It's okay. She understands me better."
