88 This Idiot.

The day of the exhibition.

Xue Mei and Ren Zhi's booth is set up across Ha Eun booth. Since she was alone, Ren Zhi helps her to set up the booth and Xue Mei done her part. She knows Ha Eun condition, even though she has a right to be jealous right now, she just..did not that have the heart to let Ha Eun do it all alone. It was her who is refusing to let Ha Eun in her group last time.

Once the Jury check on their art, they were amazed, but this time, they compared it with Ha Eun's work. If Xue Mei and Ren Zhi decide to do the sunset painting, then Ha Eun's work is actually a sunrise painting. Different time, different place. But..the connection is there.

One shade of going up and one shade of going down. Xue Mei knows about her painting, yet, she just silent about it. She knew her painting is somehow connected with how Ren Zhi's think. This shows her that even though they're not related anymore, still..their mind is always at the same track.

Once the exhibition is done, Xue Mei excuse herself to meet the dean. She needs to pass her report before its too late. Not like before, they always going to celebrate their night after the presentation, this time, she just wanna stay in her room, making a video call to her family and watch a movie.

She let Ren Zhi and Ha Eun celebrate it with their classmate. Since this year will be the last year they celebrating Christmas together. Somehow, she feels a bit lonely. She keeps telling herself that it is okay to let Ha Eun feel happy with Ren. She is okay with that. Even though, deep down it hurting her so much. She sacrifices so much for this time.

Winter festival comes to an end. All student start going back to their hometown and some of them start their journey to a new country, traveling.

Like the six of them which is Xue Mei, Ren Zhi, Xui Li, Risa, Ha Eun, and Ying Yue, they group up and went to Vail, Colorado just after the Christmas. Now is a peak time for people from all over the world coming here and enjoy their holiday with activity like skiing, snowboarding and even shopping.

The town is crowded with people and so the hotel at each resort. They only manage to get a suite with three bedrooms, even though they are from a quite influenced family. Still, there are more people with more money who put on a bet to get better accommodation at this current state.

"So, you can choose your room partner," Ren said after they all enter the suite.

"Alright, Ying Yue, you're with me." Risa already pulls Ying Yue's arm and drag her to one of the bedrooms.

Xui Li also went to one bedroom followed by Ren Zhi behind him. Leaving Ha Eun and Xue Mei at the living hall.

Xue Mei looks at her and smile. "Let's go. We put our bag first." She went to the third room in the suite.

It has a queen-size bed, fireplace, balcony and a bathroom inside the room. A bit smaller from other two bedroom but comfortable for both of them.

On the different room, Risa already puffs her cheek. She actually did not agree for bringing Ha Eun here. But because she won second place, she can't say anything more.

"Did people ever say your face look like a gorilla when you puffing your cheek like that?" Ying Yue said. She was putting her clothes on the wardrobe.

"Hmph. I can't understand Meimei. Why she so calm about this? And more, she's like forgetting who is her best friend!" She wants to cried out and cursed, but she knows she can't do that. They in the same suite, of course, others will hear her out if she does that. So she only could hold her voice down in a vexing tone.

"Yeah, I don't get it your friend too. I think she's stupid, right?"

"That's what I'm telling her."

"But, what can we do. If she fails then...I could only hope I found a good guy while we're still in here." Ying Yue has already given up.

"Oh..pity you, my friend..that's okay. I help you to fish some good men." Risa hugs her shoulder.

Shove her hand from her shoulder, she said "No, thanks. Your type isn't the same as me. I'm beautiful, I can get a handsome blonde guy without your help." She sneers a bit.

"Hey hey..still with your attitude."

Ying Yue just shrugged her shoulder.

"By the way, why are you here? You're not from our university. You stay in Spain, didn't you?" Risa rub her chin, wonder who invite her here?

"Uh huh? I can't come here? Well, I still hold a title as a 'fiance.' want me to spell it to you? F. I. A. N. C. E." She deepens her voice at the alphabet before she continues again.

"By the way. Ren is the one inviting me. He always checks on me even though we're far away. So, actually he is not only good with Ha Eun, he still good to me. But the one who had a mutual feeling with him is your friend. Huh, so unfair."

Risa crosses her arm around her chest. "Hmm. True. So unfair for both of you."

"I feel like, you three have been entering his Harem life. Haha.." Risa laughs a bit with her joke and not long after, she was smack by the pillow that Ying Yue throw to her.

"They're so loud." Xui Li said while changing his shirt. He heard a laughing sound from the next door and after that, he heard a bam sound and thudding sound too.

"Maybe they are excited to come here." Ren Zhi replying him. He is now cleaning his camera lens.

He determines to take a lot of pictures on this trip. As a memory. Last time when they go to the beach, they didn't bring his camera. So this time, he already decides to bring it with him.

After they rest for a while, they decide to go to dinner at 6 PM.Unfortunately, the restaurant in the town starts full of people from 5 PM for dinner. They had to walk to find a restaurant that is still available.

While walking in the town area, Xue Mei keeps looking at the gift shop. She wants to buy some souvenir for her family.

"You wanna buy something in that shop?" Xui Li who walk behind her suddenly asks.

They stop at the front of the restaurant, while others were busy looking at the menu stand, she was focusing on the gift shop across this restaurant.

"Hm? Yeah. But maybe later."

"Let see what menu they have." Xui Li said gently to her and they turn around to join the group.

Lucky that the restaurant has a free table and they can eat dinner here. After done with ordering the food, Ren Zhi starts to discuss their plan for tomorrow.

"So in the morning until lunch, we go for sightseeing, after lunch, we can do some shopping and rest for a bit. And the day after, we go for ice skiing and snowboarding, is it okay?" He looks at the scribbled note which he wrote down everyone's place they want to go

"Okay." all of them agree. They come for a four day and three night. So they had a lot of time to enjoy their holiday.

After this holiday, they will return back to their hometown and meet again on the new semester.

Once the food arrives, they start to eat their dinner livelily. They talk about a lot of things and topic.

While walking back to their hotel, Risa suddenly saw a glimpse of a girl that she thought is her step-sister.

"Erika?" She murmurs and Ying Yue also turn her head to the direction that Risa looking at.

"Who?" She asks.

"Impossible." Risa shakes her head and glances at Ying Yue. "Nothing," she said and they continue to walk again.

While Xue Mei was walking with Xui Li. She somehow being an invisible person to Ren Zhi. He was busy talking to Ha Eun and Xue Mei can't follow with their conversation too.

"Cold?" Xui Li asks.

"Mm. Not really." She replies to him. She forgets to bring her snow cap. The temperature here drops faster when it's night time.

Xui Li take off his wool beanie and pass it to her. "Here. Use mine."

"Eh, It's okay. I'm not that cold." Xue Mei is a bit embarrassed. Xui Li always offer her something and she always can't repay his kindness.

"Put it on. I have another." He took out another beanie hat from his jacket.

"Oh..thank you." She put it on her head.

At the back, Ying Yue could only sigh while Risa already faces slapping her face slowly.

'This idiot..'

They look at each other before they sighing again.

"I know..she's an idiot."

"Yup. He also an idiot." Ying Yue agree with Risa.
