7 Vol 1 : Ch 7 - Bad News : Too late to amend

Saturday morning, as usual Rei already arrived in the company 30 minutes before 8 am. Doing something needed to do while waiting for the time. At 20 minutes before 8 am, her phone rings and she get the phone from her bag then go to the lounge area before answering the call..

"Yes, Good Morning, Hello, may I know who is this please?"

"Hello Good Morning, am I talking to Ms. Rei?"

"Yes, speaking."

"Thank goodness that I got your number from your Mother Rei, and it's your Aunt Meng, mother of Xue."

"I know Aunt and my apology for being not able to recognized your voice."

"It's really alright, Rei. But for now, can I request your little time to be got disturb by me for just 10 minutes, if it's alright with you?."

"Yes, go ahead Aunt."

"I can't contact Xue for the last 2 days and also she didn't got back at her own condo"

"So Xue living alone already?."

"Eh, did Xue didn't tell you about that one? I think she's already living alone after your HS Graduation. But for now in order not to disturb your work Rei, I will send you where Xue address is and her phone number. Please search her for me, I'm begging you Rei."

"No worries Aunt Meng and I will call if I got in contact with Xue."

"Thank you again Rei."

"You're welcome Aunt."

End of call.

After the call, Rei come back to her working table and several minutes pass by from the call, she heard a message tone but she didn't find to see it because it almost her working hours.

After noon time, her colleagues and co-workers said bye to each other including Rei. After punching out, she then read the message from Aunt Meng and it's Xue's address and her number. Rei didn't even bother to eat her lunch since she call her mother first and telling her that she will be go home late because she have an errands to do. Next, Rei called Xue by using her working phone because her personal phone is use for as her map and navigator but then Xue is unable to reach and fails to contact her, she call again and again but still unable to connect, while dialing she study the map and then get a Taxi.

"Taxi" hop in inside the car and said to the driver "Sir, C Azure Residences please"

"Yes, Ma'am"

While on the way, Rei open her SNS account for the first time after that chat from him and then notice the message left from Vin, she replied right away and then read another message from her colleagues, co-workers and family without replying since it's not necessary except from her family since she will reply right away even its a nonsense one. She message her previous 4th year High School classmates and asking if they have recently meets or have a conversation with Xue but all of them reply with the same messages, "Sorry Rei, Xue stop messaging us and she even block us so we don't know how to contact her".

" Ma'am we're here"

"Thank you Sir" looking to the meter and get a bills from her wallet then give it to the driver.

"Here's my pay and keep the change. Thank you for the safe ride Sir" then get out while reminding herself.

"31st floor and Unit 05B"

Rei getting inside the residences, informing the guard about her visit while the guard let her in since she have a permission from Aunt Meng, Yes, Xue's mother already give her permission thru e-mail then Rei showed it to guard since she can't print anything from the office if its not related from company matters. She ride the elevator and press the button of 31, several minutes she arrives at 31st floor and looking the number of unit without knowing that in front of Xue's Unit is Vin's Unit. She press the door bell once, twice, thrice, again and again but no ones opening the door so she ask herself.

'Where is she?' then her personal phone rings.

----At Vin side----

Xue is outside the premises and buying something sweet to drink since Vin is busy with his documents and she want to help him release his stress from work. Vin bringing Xue to his house in order to solve their matters and to avoid being seen. While Xue is outside, Vin open his SNS account after sorting out his documents and hoping that Rei will be able to reply him after that chat with the message he left a month ago, then he was right since he got a new notification that you're friend Rei send you a new message that cause him to be excited while feeling nervous because he doesn't know what's the content of her message.
