18 Vol 1 : Ch 18 - I have something to tell you after a month

Rei was now sleeping quietly but then wake up because of her phone since she's the type of a light sleeper that whatever noise she heard from her slumber state she will got awake right away. Rei get her phone from her desk and looking to the screen then realize whose calling her.

"Yes, hello Aunt Meng."

"Ah Rei, I'm sorry to disturb you but Xue still not calling us after you message me that you already informed her. Then I can't even contact her".

" It's alright Aunt Meng, let me see if I can reach her."

"Then I will hung up ....." got interrupt by Rei

"Don't worry Aunt, I will call her thru my other phone" which is her personal number. Rei search her number then call but only the answering machine she heard.

After hearing that Rei can't reach her, Aunt Meng getting worried more.

"What I'm going to do Rei? Do I need to report it to the police?"

"No, you can't Aunt, Xue is a heiress and if it got leaked, your company will be in a mess." Answered her hurriedly.

"Then what I'm going to do?"

"Let me see." Then right away she got an idea 'I hope it will help them and hope that I won't mess up. If I remember correctly Vin works at their company right? Well if I'm wrong, I will take it as my responsibility since it's my fault.'

"Ah, by the way Aunt Meng, I forgot to add you this afternoon but Xue informed me that starting on Monday she will conduct a secret evaluation and survey of your service crew together with Captain Vin and it will be last for a month."

Rei just reason out and hope it will not become more worst just because of her excuses so that the two of them will not be busted but unknown to her, Vin already suggested it to the board of members and the only difference is Vin will be the only one who will conduct the evaluation and survey then the approval from board of members are already signed only left from informing him that it was approved.

"Ah, you're right Rei but never taught that Xue will also part of this plan."

'What? I just reason out and never taught it already happened.'

"Did Captain Vin already aware of it?"

"Not yet, I'm going to inform him but I forgot because of Xue since she never contact us and I got anxious and forget it totally, if you didn't inform me Rei, I might get scolded from my husband since I'm the one in charge to inform him."

"Oh, it's alright Aunt Meng"

"By the way Rei, how did you know about it? Are you Captain Vin girlfriend?"

"Xue share this to me and ask for my opinion. Captain Vin and I are just friend, Aunt Meng". 'In the future Captain Vin will be your son-in-law Aunt Meng'.

"You and Xue are really the best buddies. I will hang up now Rei and I will call Captain Vin right away maybe they we're already discussing this and waiting for the approval."

"That....."

"Something's wrong, Rei?"

"Nothing's wrong Aunt Meng."

"Then I will hung up now Rei and thank you for picking up my calls."

"You're welcome Aunt Meng. Ha, ha it's my honor to pick up your call Aunt Meng, especially knowing your identity."

"Geez Rei, you're really a good girl and nice. Go back to your sleep, Rei and bye."

"Bye, Aunt Meng".

After hanging up, Aunt Meng call her secretary and order her to call Captain Vin then give the phone to her if it's connected to him.

Vin and Xue are still facing each other. Xue is waiting for Vin reply but his phone suddenly ringing, he get his phone from the pocket and after seeing the caller, he got nervous right away.

'Chairman Meng Secretary? Why? Did Rei tell her already about Xue? No it can't be, Rei is not a blabbermouth.'

Xue noticed Vin reaction and she guesses that maybe Rei was the one who called. 'This idiot.... did she know how to give up instead fighting with me?'

"Madame Meng I can't reach Captain Vin"

"Call again, he might a little bit busy and didn't notice the call".

" Yes Madame" then call him again.

Vin notice his phone ringing again and answered meanwhile Xue is still angry by the caller.

'Is she's an idiot? I'm a heiress while she just a commoner? Who give her confidence to fight with me? If she really want to have.....' got interrupted by Vin voice.

"Good evening Secretary Lin"

'Secretary Lin? That's Mom secretary. Don't tell me that idiot already informed Mom. That idiot I will kill her for sure. How dare she is to complain with my Mom?''

"Good Evening Captain Vin, Madame Meng wants to talk with you."

"That....go ahead Secretary Lin". Vin looking to Xue then covered the mouthpiece since Xue gesturing him to do it.

"Vin, put on the loudspeaker" instruct him right away after seeing him covered the mouthpiece. Then she hears her Mom voice on the line.

"Sorry for disturbing your night Vin"

"It's alright Chairman Meng"

"By the way, I forgot to inform you but your suggestion already approved".

"Glad to hear it from you Chairman Meng"

"I almost forgot about that one if Rei didn't inform me about that, I might really forgot it but thanks goodness my daughter is such a blabbermouth and share this to Rei for her opinion. If you mention that my daughter Xue is also part of this plan, it will already approve after your suggestion Captain Vin. I never expect that Xue best friend Rei is also a friend of you Captain Vin."

Vin and Xue jawdropped what they heard, so Vin asked more details.

"What do you mean Chairman Meng?"

"Don't act to be a stupid Captain Vin. I know you because you're the Top Captain even though you got recommended from Xue but since I'm in a good mood then I will share it to you even though you might already know since your a friend of Rei, so I will tell you. I got worried about Xue, that daughter of mine since I didn't know where she is and about so instead informing you about the approval of your request, I almost forgot it then call Rei right away which is Xue and you're friend. She informed me that Xue conducting an evaluation and survey for the crew that will be last for a month bases of what she heard from Xue, so I guess Xue is with you right now discussing this matter while waiting for the approval right?"

Again Vin and Xue jawdropped from what they heard from her, they expect that maybe Rei already telling them about what happened but they never guessed that Rei was helping them and giving them more time to settle it until knowing if they're really expecting a baby. Vin just knowing that Rei helping them to reason out, he ride it right away.

"Yes Chairman Meng, in fact I and Lady Xue are still discussing about this one. I'm here at Lady Xue unit".

"Good, good and take good care with my daughter."

"Yes, I will Chairman Meng"

"Then let me talk with Xue for a moment"

"Yes Chairman Meng and please wait a moment. Lady Xue, Chairman Meng want to talk to you"

"Okay, pass me the phone please"

Aunt Meng heard Vin and Xue but never know that they just facing each other.

"Hello Mom"

"Idiot, don't call me like that, Captain Vin is there"

Don't worry he didn't hear." But the phone is still on loudspeak.

"Okay, since it's alreay late and knowing you're safe, I'm feeling good now. Don't be to get to busy then after this, please contact us and don't forget to visit us."

"Yes, Mom"

"By the way, after meeting Rei, you look surprised right?"

"Yeah Mom, Rei become more beautiful and now she's really becoming a refined lady."

"Right, right even I'm always visiting them once a month, I'm not used of it but that's the Rei we know after all."

"Visiting once a month, since when Mom?".

"Since you and Rei graduated from high school. I visit her once a month because you're very ungrateful to her, you silly girl if not for Rei you will not be able to graduate with high colors."

"That Mom...."

"I know, I know that you steal her final examination papers then change your name from it but Rei didn't utter a single word instead she ask for another sheet and answered it right away but didn't let it get perfect even then she change her penmaship so that the teachers will not notice it."

"How did you know that Mom?"

"Did you think your Mom is an idiot Xue? Knowing your personalities and having a rival, you'll find ways how to deal with them you're just lucky that Rei treat you as her friend if not you will not become as what you are right now."

"...." Xue left speechless but her mom continued stabbing her without knowing.

"By the way, what do you think about Captain Vin and Rei?

up"T....that I don't know Mom."

"All of us aware that Captain Vin is capable enough but if you compare him to Rei, it will just a waste for Rei to be with him, I mean Rei is both high in IQ and EQ, so I think Rei is suited for a man who have same personalities with her. By the way, I wonder at first how the two of them related to each other, I got worried but after hearing that they just a friend from Rei I got relief. By the way if I find perfect girl for Captain Vin, I let you know. Well to be frank I consider both of you are match but knowing you I didn't interfere since you're no match from him. You're a spolied brat only knows how to get rid of your rival."

She cut off her mother before she will say something more "Mom I have something to tell you after a month."

"I will wait for that."

"Okay Mom, I and Captain Vin are still discussing."

"Bye"
