28 Vol 1 : Ch 28 - Informing the family

After they convince her to tell them what is it, a moment of silence surrounds the whole area of the living room then Rei sighing and facing the kids first before them.

"From now on Aunt Rei will tell everything but promise me that you will be able to understand it, okay?"

"..." the kids become quiet all of sudden because they don't know what would be the right reaction after hearing it and they're thinking at the same thing 'Auntie Rei were still a kid'.

As if she read their minds, she said to them "it's alright kids, just listen to me and don't misunderstand Aunt, okay?"

"Okay"

"Thanks little boys and little girls. Let's seat first." Rei and the kids seating in the couch opposite to them then continue "here's the one I've been hiding all along..." Rei paused for a moment and thinking what would be the right way to inform them, after a moment of silent, she begin what's she hiding for almost a month.

"Actually I was going to tell Mama this the moment I got inform but I didn't because of my worries but since you already here Bro El and Mei together with your family, so I think it's a coincidence that you're here. Three weeks ago, my Head Manager inform me that I got promoted" every one amaze after hearing this then Rei continue "that's a good news right?" they nodded "but the only thing I'm worried about is that, I will be assigned in the main branch which is in outside of the country, in other words I will be working abroad if I agree. The management just give me a month to decide, it's been 3 weeks since I got informed so I only have a week left to decide. They also expects that I will made my decision as soon as possible, so what do you think guys?" All of them have a mixed emotions, they don't know if they will be happy or sad for her and as a part of this family what would be the accurate decisions for her. The adults are all wondering what would be the decisions but the kids reacts first especially Ren and Lyn.

"You mean Aunt, that you're going to leave us?'

"Uh--uh, if I agree."

"Aunt Rei we already here and now you're going to leave us?"

"Uh--uh, if I agree"

Rei just repeated it twice, the oldest kids can't control his emotions and ask his favorite Aunt bluntly.

"So Aunt Rei did you agree or not?"

"KEN" got warned from the adults.

"Ken" Rei called him and hug but Ken brush her off.

"Don't touch me Aunt Rei, you don't love me anymore, you don't love me" then he cried.

"My little boy Ken, come here"

After his Mom called him, he run away to her and hug "Mom, Aunt Rei doesn't love me anymore. Aunt Rei already meet me now for the first time but what Aunt Rei do, she's going to leave me" cried and cried.

"Ken, my little boy, all of us still not heard what's Aunt Rei decisions but whatever decisions your Aunt is, we will support Aunt Rei we're here family after all and don't be like that your Aunt Rei love all of you, so you must not think like that Ken"

"But... but Mom"

"Sesh... let's listen first from your Aunt" then Mei feels his head nodding from her hugs.

"So Rei which company did you work?"

"C International and Group Company"

"What?"

"C International and Group Company, Mei"

"Your current position?"

"Admin Staff"

"The position you will got after your promotion?"

"Secretary"

"Where did they plan to assign you for your new position?"

"Main Branch"

"Where the Main Branch is?"

"S Country, why?"

"S Country is famous for what?"

"Famous for what?"

"Geez, Sis, Sis, Sis I think you got an amnesia for a moment. Have you forgotten that our favorite boy bands group are from that country."

"Oh"

"See? If I were you, the moment I got inform I already agree, I would worry later. And of course that company is among from the top 10 business internationals. So why are you hesitating, Rei?"

"....."

"Com'on Sis, both I and Bro El are working abroad for our own good even Lyn left first in order to work abroad, so now we're here it's time for you to decide for your future and we're here to take care with Mama, we've been selfish enough and left you alone to take care with Mama, so it's our time now, alright"

"Uh--uh, but the kids especially Ken." before Mei replied her other son interrupt her and just what we know, Ren is just like Mei.

"Don't worry about us Aunt Rei, we understand" Ren convince her Aunt while both Ellyn and Lynel just nodded.

"Bro Ken will realize it soon that it's for your own future and career Aunt Rei."

"Ren...." Rei cut off by Ren

"Yeah, I know Aunt Rei. I'm still young and a little boy but I understand it, Bro Ken just like that because he really love you Aunt Rei, I also love you Aunt Rei but I think I'm nothing if I'm compare to Bro Ken."

"How about Ellyn and Lynel?"

"We understand Aunt Rei and agreed Bro Ren" even both of them are crying.

"Come here Ren, Ellyn and Lynel" then they hug their Aunt right away. After hugging her, both Ren and Lynel burst out their emotions of what they feel right now.

"I'm sorry kids."

Ellyn lift her head from her Aunt embrace and ask her "So Aunt Rei, what's your decision?"
