33 Vol 1 : Ch 33 - I accept my promotion

Late at night, the family arrived. After entering the house, they go to their room right away and change their clothes before going to sleep. The kids are still sleeping beside Rei.

Even though they sleep late at night, all the adults wake up early while the kids are still sleeping, they didn't wake them up since they're still young. El leave first, followed by Rei and then the Jang couple (Mei and En).

As usual Rei arrive 30 minutes before her working hours. Minutes by minutes her co workers arrives one by one and at exact 8 am Rei is standing outside in front of Manager Office that cause of her co workers got nervous because they didn't know why Rei got called from the office when she's the one who received the most compliments and one of the top 10 best employee. Thank goodness the one who's most envy and jealous of her are still suspended at the moment.

Rei knock the door three times and heard the Manager ask.

"Who is it?"

"It's Rei, Manager Xia".

"Get inside Ms. Rei"

Rei open the door then get inside to the Manager office.

"Seat down first Ms. Rei (Rei seated) and I'm going to direct you, did you come up with your decision already Ms. Rei?"

"Yes Manager Xia and I will accept my promotion."

"Good, good and you really make a right decision Ms Rei. The main branch are confident enough that you will agree on or before the given allowed time for you and they already make a preparation and book a ticket for your flight."

"Ticket for my flight?"

"Yes and you heard it right Ms Rei. You will leave next Saturday and the company will willing to compromised whatever condition you want. For your farewell party will be held next Thursday, Next Friday will be your rest day and Saturday will be your flight to S Country, the company car will pick you up and drop you off to the airport and just tell me how many family members will drop you off at the airport to accommodate all of you."

"Whatever it is?"

"Yes whatever it is as long as it's not violating any company rules."

"Then can I bring my 2 nieces and 2 nephews here in my work starting tomorrow before my farewell party?"

"Yes, you can. Wait, is that all?"

"Yes Manager Xia and for my family numbers who wants to drop me off during my departure will be at least 10 including me."

"Okay noted, by the way here's your ticket and your documents. The person who will waiting during your arrival will be Secretary Su, also he will be the one got assign and will instruct you for your further instructions. Secretary Su photo is already inside in brown envelope."

"Yes Manager Xia"

"Ah, before I forgot, don't let your co workers know what we were talking about"

"Yes Manager Xia"

"Tsk....."

"Eh, Manager Xia why are you crying?"

"Don't worry about me I'm just excited about your future career Ms. Rei."

"You're welcome Ms Rei and make a name to our main branch that C City Branch are not easy to be look down."

"Yes Manager Xia and I will do my best"

"Good and you can go back now"

"Yes Manager Xia'

Rei leave the office while holding the white letter envelope (ticket) and long brown envelope (documents). Her co workers thinking that Rei might got fired when they saw her holding white and brown envelope. They were wondering and going to ask but then because of the company rules they didn't dare and just feel pity for Rei for not becoming a regular even through Rei is the most excellent employee compare to them. All of them are just lucky enough that they become a regular when the Manager from that time was Ms. Qiao that got suspended right now and they think at the same taught that Manager Xia is just calm but then they realized it now that he can't be easily to fool around, he is strict and show no mercy to those who violates the rules.

All of them are working seriously afraid that either one of them will be kick out or be suspended without knowing that Rei got promoted. Rei notice the sudden changes of her co workers and know why they were like that but no need to explain it since she got instructed not to, she can even sense that they feel pity of her but she shrugged it off and just do her works. Lunch time arrived and they eat at the cafeteria. She heard her co worker chatting that they will be a new restaurant opening this coming Saturday in front of the building and discuss that they will going to visit and observe if the restaurant is worth it without knowing that one of the owner are with them and listening whatever their talking about.

"So let's bet guys, one week from their opening they will be close down."

"Geez you're so bad Mr. Seo"

"I'm stating the truth and I'm already working here for almost 15 years and observe that only the influential one can survive here in the main C City."

"Yeah, you're right Mr. Seo."

"But hey I heard that the owners of this new restaurant are just arrive from abroad"

"Oh, well their not well known so they will bankrupt soon so who's with me?"

"How sure are you, Mr. Seo?"

"I'm 100% percent sure, my girlfriend and I saw the owners yesterday, 2 Pretty Ladies and 2 handsome gentlemen's. If they entering an entertainment industry and fashion they will be success for sure but opening a restaurant they got it wrong."

"Eh, you saw them Mr. Seo? Are they really pretty?"

"Yes, they really are and I'm sure they were the owner because they check their surroundings yesterday and their aura are just got back from abroad"

"Photos, do you have?"

"Too bad I didn't since my girlfriend got mad at me. Well who will get mad when I'm looking to them even though I'm with her but for now who's going to bet me?"

"Mmm....for me maybe they will survive within a year, how about you Mr. Seo?"

"One week after their opening before they will close down, so who's with me and who's with Mr. Lin?"

"18 votes for Mr. Seo and 1 vote for Mr. Lin, for himself only"

"Eh, eh, all of you agree with Mr. Seo?" They nodded and he notice Rei didn't agree so he ask her right away "how about you Ms. Rei?" then all of them are now looking to her.

"I will agree with Mr. Lin but it's not within a year maybe they will become famous someday"

"Eh?"

"It's my opinion and don't judge a book by it's cover. Who knows that one of the owner is more famous compared to what you imagine"

Rei is right because En, her brother in law is well known as an international captain and navigator, Mei is well known Teacher and Secretary, El is well known as one of the genius electrical engineer and Lyn who got an award for a Best Chef but didn't pursue it because of a family reason and only Rei is not well known but in the future she will. All of Rei family members are all low key so they don't know their real identity and faces so no need to disguise if they're were going out.

"Eh, what do you mean Ms. Rei?"

"Nothing, but remind you guys it's almost working hours. I'm going first."

"Eh?"

They hurriedly finish their lunch and all of them are thinking the samething except for Mr. Lin

'Just act arrogant Ms. Rei, I'm sure you just acting like that but you already been kick out and only a matter of days that you won't be here.'
