Chapter 122 - Advantage

"What!!" Ethan and Daniel both shouted in union.

Lucas was walking back and forth outside Elena's lawn. When they told their parents about their marriage news, his father Blake was the one who threw him out from the house.

"What should I do.. they left me here alone. Sunshine is inside handling by her own" his heart was about to reach his throat because of the nervousness he was feeling.

"Brother how can you ditch your only brother. Didn't we agree to marry on the same day. How can you back down with your words" Daniel whined at his brother.

Lucas had given him his words when he told about Elena to him. He had agreed with Daniel to marry on the same day, but the circumstances they were in made him take the decision on his own.

"Dude you married her and that too without telling anyone" it was Ethan's turn to scold him.

The man was out of his sense the other night and even took the decision in this drunken state. Great what more he was going to do to make them fall on their head.

"I know I should've waited to get sober up but I couldn't reject her" Lucas shoulder dropped in helplessness. It was his fault to get drunk and make her worried for him that she had to agree to his words.' But wait she proposed him and that too with full determination'

"Now you should just stand outside to let them feel pity for you and melt their heart to get you in" Ethan didn't knew how to console his friend. He had messed up really bad.

"I'm sure uncle is going to smack your ass brother" Daniel giggled imagining him beaten by Blake.

"Guys help me with this. I really don't know what is going on inside" he again asked them but the later only shrugged off their shoulder hinting him to clean the mess by himself.

Ending the call, Lucas sat down on the chair and waited for them to take him inside when he saw the door opened and Blake walking out his way towards him.

Sacred by his father angry gaze, Lucas gulped hard waiting for him to be beaten black and blue by his father.

"Dad" like a small whisper Lucas felt hard to even utter a word.

"Lets take her home..." his fathers words made him shock as if he have grown two horns...

An hour ago..

"It's all your son's fault.. how can he marry her without asking us" Henry flared looking outside the window where Lucas was trying to sneak a peek inside the house.

"Look even now he wants to come in" he pointed his finger showing him outside the window.

Watching everyone turned to look at him, Lucas immediately turned himself avoiding their scary glance.

"You're right.. This time I really need to smack his ass for being so careless. How can he be so selfish to take the decision on his own knowing the consequence of his act. That brat..."

Blake and Henry were busy blaming Lucas for pressuring Elena to take the sudden decision of marriage, but they didn't know the one who took advantage of his drunken state was his daughter.

"Guys will you let her speak. Elena is trying to talk with you both" Julian voiced her displeasure listening to their constant talk and cursing game but the men were not even listening her words...

"I took advantage of him" came a voice in between their argument.

Both the men stopped their blaming game when they heard Elena's words which pulled the ground under their feet," I asked him to marry me" she said making them both stop talking. 

"What??" both the old men shouted in union.

Elena sighed and lifted her head to watch their shocked face. She knew they would only stop arguing when they listen to her truth. That was true she was the one who took advantage of his drunken state and ask him to marry her right at the moment.

"Can you please not blame him.. he was not even in his sense last night" she stood up and walked in front of them..

"Dad.. uncle, Lucas is innocent" she said and looked outside the window to see him standing like a lonely man.

"He needs me and the only way to stay close to him is by marrying him. Didn't you all said I will pull him out from the darkness"

Everyone was silent listening to her words, yes they were the one who made her work in his company, they were the one who thought she would tame him. Then why were they not accepting their decision.

"But Elena.. you know Marcus is still underground. And if the news of your marriage gets leak then he would surely target you" Blake was the one who didn't wanted to risk her life for his son.

"But uncle what is the chances that he will caught. You all have been still finding him but did you found any clue" she asked..

"No.. then lets officially declare the news about our marriage and bring him out form his den..."

Elena went ahead and held both their hands," And fearing for my safety.. I'm sure my husband would not even let his soul reach my body" her words were firm and solid enough to make them agree..

"She is right.. lets not forget what is Lucas capable of" Julian walked and stood next to her agreeing with her words.

Both of them knew Lucas was the devil in human disguise and if anyone harm his only love he would burn the person alive not even leaving his ashes.

Nodding their head both of them agreed to their daughter as she pulled them into a group hug.

Present...

Lucas was sitting on the couch having the same feeling when he had came to meet them for the first time. He didn't dare to look up as Henry was watching him like a detective..

After like eternity he finally heard his say," Take care of her and.. if you make her cry I will tie you upside down smacking your round butt.

"Yes uncle.." he looked up nodding his head in agreement.

"Uncle! who is uncle here?" Henry frowned when he called him uncle.

Lucas was looking confused not getting his words, shouldn't he call him that? he thought as his lips pout watching him smiling at him..

"You better call me dad from now on" getting up he walked toward him making him stand.

Henry could not even be angry on him, he knew no one would take care of his daughter like this young man. He see his young version in him and the love he hold for his daughter in his heart.

"Dad.."

"Good that's better" he patted his shoulder and bid them bye.

Henry and Julian were happy for their daughter and they knew she had made the right decision to marry him.

Maira's apartment

"What??" Maira was shocked by the news she heard from Daniel.

"See shock right.. even I was stunned by the news" Daniel puffed his cheeks still not forgiving his brother.

"How can he ditch his own brother" Daniel whine like a kid complaining her about Lucas.

Maira shook her head and left the room leaving him with his dejected phase. She knew he would eventually calm down and will easily forgive Lucas.

Getting in the living room, she tried calling Elena but she couldn't connect her. She knew her friend very well and was very much confident about her taking such a drastic step.

She kept calling her but her call still didn't connect so at last she finally gave up and decided to congratulate her afterwards.

She went back to the room only to find Daniel sulking on the bed with a pout on his face.

'What happened to him? Wasn't he complaining earlier?' she thought walking towards the bed and stood in front of him.

"What happen how did this complain box became silent?" she tried to cheer him up.

Maira was very well aware of when this man was happy and when he was sad and looking at him now she could tell he was feeling both.

"Babe... my brother got married" his words made her look at him in confusion.

She already knew it then why is he again telling her. His words were not making any sense as it didn't match with his current expression...

"Woah!.. babe my brother got married" he screamed like a happy kid making her flinch in surprise.

"Haha.. he really got married" he again squeal like a happy kid clapping his hands in excitement.

Maira didn't really understood his moods, why was he behaving like he was about to have periods. She shook her head went to the bathroom to freshen up leaving Daniel enjoy his realization. Both the Thomson brothers were kid in adult body.

"Babe don't you think we need to celebrate" he turn to look for Maira but only found the empty room with he talking to himself.

"Babe..." he again called when he heard the shower voice.

"Maira you naughty girl, why did you left me alone" he opened the door and got inside to bathe along with her.
