Chapter 127 - Ex And Present

"Lucas Thomson... I'm not going to let me touch you again" 

Elena was applying the concealer to hide the number of love bites her husband had showered her since yesterday. The couple ended up having their love making for the whole day and had only took break to fill their stomach. 

"Sunshine.. that's not fair see even you gave me these" he went to her dressing area and showed her the marks on his back and his shoulder," Did I complain" he said pointing at the scratched which his not so innocent wife had given him.

Elena rolled her eyes watching him complaining about her. She couldn't believe how lame excuses he was giving to defend his actions.

"Are you going shirtless for the work" she asked while putting a scarf around her neck and turn to look back at him.

Lucas who was standing only with his pants on shook his head innocently making her sigh.

"Then...this marks would hide inside your clothes not showing them to anyone but what about these.. on my neck. How will I hide them?" she answered his lame excuse making him grin at her angry look.

Elena watched him grinning on his art like a proud man who was happy by his hard work. 

"Sunshine it's better you don't hide them, in that way no one will approach you.." walking inside his closet he got ready to leave for the work along with Elena.

They had decided not to announce about their marriage publicly as Lucas wanted to make it official on the launch event. Elena agreed on his words as she herself didn't wanted to hide anymore about their relation. Now she was confident enough to face everyone without fearing about how they would think.

Walking inside the building hand in hand the couple entered the private elevator. From the time they had announce both were dating Elena and Lucas would enter the office from his private elevator. Everyone inside the work premises knew about their relation as they had already witness how their boss was head over heels in love with his assistant. No one bothered to voice their thoughts and were happy for the couple.

Getting out from the elevator, Elena was about to walk to her cabin when she felt Lucas hands stopping her. She turn to look at him who was smiling at her," Where are you going sunshine?" he asked.

"My cabin..."

Elena was about to speak when her husband dragged her in his cabin.

"Tada..."

Elena was surprise to see the new look of his cabin. The glass wall which was partitioning their cabin was gone and her entire cabin was brought inside to his cabin.

"Lucas when did you do this?" she asked walking to her table which was opposite to his table.

"When you were busy making food for us" he informed," I asked Ron to renovate the room" he walked to his wife snaking her from behind.

Elena recalled the time when she was making dinner for them when he had called Ron and was talking to him for long time.

"So this was the discussion you were discussing with him?" she titled her neck to see him smiling at her.

"Yes... do you like it?" 

Lucas made sure to keep his wife with him all time. Now that they were married he didn't wanted to part with her even for a second. Earlier, he would watch her through the glass wall but now she would be in front of him all day.

"I love it"

Elena didn't knew her husband would be so thoughtful, she didn't mind if people call it his obsession or his possessiveness for her, she didn't care about them. His every action would skip her heart making her fall for him more. Even his possessiveness would make her heart dance to his beats.

"So how about we explore our cabin now" resting his chin on her shoulder blade his hoarse voice reached her ears.

Elena gulped at the seducing voice, the way he was saying made her body heat rise up. She knew even if she only hummed and not say a single word she would awake the devil in him and this newly renovated cabin would turn upside down.

"Ahem... Lucas I think we need to work.. the software launch is just around the corners and we have to do so much work" she slowly loosen his hold from her and moved forward.

Lucas face turn cold at her rejection but latter drop his gloominess when he thought she was saying right. The launch event was arriving soon and they had so much work to complete. Even if Ron was handling everything but as the boss he should not forget his duty towards his company.

"Fine but we still need to explore this place" he thought to let go of this for now but he was not going to forget that they had one more place to mess up with.

Elena could only shake her head, her husband was not someone who would forget what he had on his mind. Now he agreed with her because they had to complete their pending work but as soon as they would be done with this launch thing, he was not going to stop.

Maira and Daniel were roaming inside the shopping mall. From the time they got the news about Lucas and Elena's marriage, Maira insisted to buy something for them as a gift from the couple. Though the marriage was secret and was not officially announced but as her only friend she couldn't wait to go and congratulate her in person.

She was happy for them and wanted to share her friend happiness. Daniel who walked with her was angry on his brother for a while but as his nature was he couldn't hold grudge on his brother for too long. Though he wanted them to get marry on the same day but the situation his brother had to get hitched was not something to get angry for.

Getting inside one of the shop, Maira saw a nice painting which she thought was the best gift for the newly wed. 

"What do you think about this painting Daniel?" she turn to talk but instead of finding Daniel behind she saw the person she didn't expect to meet out of the blue.

"Maira.." Chris waved his hand when he saw his ex after so long.

Maira and Chris dated during their college but after dating for eight months the couple broke up. Maira only got into the relationship thinking she would fall for him but her heart didn't got attach to him. On the other hand Chris had too many dreams to fulfill and would not have time to spent with her.

"Chris.. what a surprise, when did you came back?" she walked and gave him a hug.

Even after breaking up with him they still continued to be friends. Their break up was taken mutually thinking about their own feeling and both didn't hold any grudge against each other.

"Just a few days ago.. my god look at the changed girl, the tomboy is long gone" he pulled back and watch how elegant and beautiful she look.

"Yes... how long should I keep wearing men's clothes" her words made both of them laugh.

Both were busy talking unaware of the eyes which was throwing dagger on Chris. Daniel got a call from the hospital so he went out without informing Maira about it. But now when he was back , his eyes popped out watching Maira laughing with some random man.

'Who is this man and why is he talking with her so friendly?' he thought as his blood boil in jealousy watching them talk without caring the surrounding.

"Did she forget, she came here with me" he muttered and walked like a clingy boyfriend to punch the man but stop when Maira turned and smiled at him.

"Oh.. here he comes.. Chris this Daniel my boyfriend "Daniel anger subsided when she introduce him to the man as her man but his happiness didn't last long when she heard his introduction," And Daniel this Chris my ex" Daniel felt the ground slipping under his feet. His rival was standing in front of him and his women was happily introducing them.

Lucas and Elena were busy in their work when Natasha barged in. She heard about Lucas was back from the promo shoot and she couldn't wait to see him. Even though she had followed them to Chicago she didn't got a chance to see him as she was hiding herself in order to get her work done. But everything backfired and she had to come back along with her father's men. 

"Lucas when did you come" she walked in with a smile on her face but soon her smile faded watching the girl along with him.

"You.. what are you doing here?" she turn to look at Elena who was working from his cabin.

"Who are you to ask her"
