Chapter 147 - Scared August

" The girl is more dangerous than her father. How did he gave birth to a snake" Blake was shocked how August daughter didn't even bulge to take someone's life just for her obsession.

"Even I was shocked when my doubt was confirmed. She just went to put a mask hiding her true intentions to enter the company" Elena said not to forget her action which felt suspicious when she came to visit her in the hospital.

Lucas who was silent all this while recollecting all her previous actions, from seducing him to trying to get close to him. He thought she was just a stupid girl who was following him to impress him but no, she had way too big plans and one of it was to kill Elena.

"But maybe she has drop the idea now because she barely comes to the office and only prefer outdoor meeting" Elena informed how Natasha was not even stepping her foot in the company after Lucas hard words to her. As if she had given up the thought to have him, but who know what she would do.

"We can't divert our eyes away from her after knowing what she is capable of doing" Lucas didn't have a single percent trust on the girl. And her being quite was something which was bothering him.

"I think he is right even her father would not keep quite and will create trouble now that his proposal have been rejected" Blake had seen the murderous look in August eyes and he knew the man would not keep quite and would definitely create problem.

"Marcus have send the wrong people to destroy us. They are just mere pawn who would be crumbled in snap of my finger and their bad luck that they have messed with a wrong person" Lucas eyes darken. 

Elena was seeing a whole different person in front of her. She knew Lucas was a devil who didn't kept things hidden but to attack the person straight on their face. Now he knew what both daughter and father were up to so he had to show them hell but only after playing his cards.

Pulling out his phone Lucas made a call.

"Ron, are all thing set" he said making a call to his assistant.

"Yes boss everything is prepared as per your request" he replied.

"Good" cutting the call he looked at two pair of eyes watching him curiously.

Shrugging his shoulder, Lucas got up and said," Dad we will join you in the evening hope you don't mind if we leave" he turn to look at his wife and winked.

Blake got up and sighed," Its true that after marriage everyone changes" saying this he left the house followed by the couple as they both drove opposite way.

Knight Mansion

"Thud"

The vase on the side table landed straight on the floor scaring the maid who had came in to serve Natasha her breakfast.

Natasha's every plan to kill Elena was backfiring making her more envy of her. Even August who all these day was agreeing to her demand said her to let go of Lucas.

"Is he out of his mind.. after coming so long he is backing off" Natasha yelled and threw every thing on the dressing table.

"Madam calm down" the maid who was standing near the door wanted to cool her but even before she took a step further Natasha threw her perfume bottle hitting the maids head.

Blood dripping down her head the maid held the forehead and hissed in pain moving back when her back collide to a hard chest.

Turning back she saw her master standing looking around the mess Natasha had created before asking her to leave and treat her wound.

"Are my words not clear to you that you have decided to turn deaf and create havoc here" August was tired of explaining her to be more sensible. Even before when he had asked her to follow his lead still she went ahead and tried to kill Elena.

But even after knowing what she did, he still thought to ask Blake to enter into business marriage but even he decline his proposal and even Marcus had asked him to be quite for the time being.

"How can you give up dad. You know how much I love him then why are you not killing the girl" she looked like a crazy person who was not in her right state of mind.

"We can't go against his words Natasha or else we will both loose our lives even before achieving our personal goal" his words strike that there was something her father was hiding from her.

"Who will kill us" she asked  as her blood shot red eyes bored into her fathers eyes.

"Marcus" 

"Marcus.. who is he and why are you scare of him?" she asked not getting his words. As far as she knew her father was the most powerful man whom no one dare to mess with but even he was scared of someone whom she don't know.

"If we don't act according to him, he would not spare our lives and will make us live like beggars on the street" he said.

"Why would he do that?" 

"Because all this luxury and money that we have is all his hard work which I took from him by lying" his words came like a shock making him recall how he had fooled him and transferred all his money and share under his name.

If Marcus was not in prison for killing Rosie's father then August would've been working under his command like a mere servant who was living on his food.

Lucas cabin

"I didn't knew the person behind all the attack was Natasha" Ethan who was now sitting on the opposite seat in front of Lucas shook his head in disbelief.

"She doesn't know that we have found her crimes. She is still under impression that she had safely manage to come clean" Lucas said looking at the screen.

Lucas had got hold on the informer who worked for her and gave her every single information about him and Elena. In fear he spill everything that she had done and how she had manage to clear the trace.

" What do you want me to do with this man whom we have got hold on" Ethan asked, the man was scared as hell and it didn't took him a second to open his mouth.

"Give him some treat and ask him to seal his lips or else the consequence will be bad" Lucas had asked Ron to track every person who was close to Natasha and August and luckily the first one to spat everything was their informer who was not less than a scared rat.

"Whom do you want to treat" came Elena voice who entered the cabin after attending a meeting in place of Ron.

Clearing his throat Lucas gave Ethan a meaningful look. Ethan who knew that Lucas must have not told Elena about him being in underworld business too where even the mafia fear him a lot. Thought his business was pure legal still the name underworld would pull anyone's soul out from their body.

"Ha.. no one sunshine we were discussing about how to go for a treat since we have not had one in so many days" Lucas changed the topic when his eyes drifted to look at his friend who was suppressing his smile.

Confused by his words Elena said," Didn't we had lunch together a few day ago?" she asked when Lucas cough loud and Ethan smiled covering his mouth.

Seeing him cough Elena kept the file on the table and ran to his desk removing the lid on the glass and giving him water," Why are you covering your mouth Ethan?" she asked taking Ethan by surprise.

Hinting Ethan to seal his mouth Lucas warmed him with his eyes when Ethan looked up to face Elena," I thought something stuck in my throat maybe it went dry all of sudden. Can you pass me water too" he said and gave a glare to Lucas who was sipping his water.

"You both should keep your body hydrated" she said walking back to her table and bring her glass for Ethan. 

Watching Elena passing Ethan her glass of water, Lucas let go of his glass pushing it in Ethan's hand and taking her glass to drink.

"You have mine" he said and gulped the whole glass leaving both of them speechless.

Wiping his lips he looked at them and spoke with a cheeky voice," I think I should keep my self hydrated" this man was too childish sometime which made them doubt how he manage such a big company.

"I think I should leave. The launch is tomorrow and we have to give the software a final run" getting up from the chair Ethan left his cabin carrying with his work.

Turning to her husband Elena said," Why did you do that?" she asked for his previous action.

"What?" he knew what she was asking but he didn't wanted to say.

Shaking her head Elena sigh," You are too much sometimes" she was about to turn but Lucas pulled her caging her in his arms.

" Everything which is related to you is mine.. And I don't like to share" smashing his lips Lucas kissed her giving her the proof of his words.
