Chapter 207 - Does He Know

"Even I am not understanding his ways this time" Elena was herself confuse on why Lucas would risk his family just to get hold on Marcus.

"Maybe this way we can get Marcus out from his den" Maira concluded knowing that Lucas was not someone who would willingly put everyone's life at stake. There was something he was trying to do which would get them to Marcus.

"I think we need to keep it between us. If they had not shared with us till now it only means everything is still under their control" Samantha said recalling if Ethan had talked to her about it.

"I think you are right. If it was major then Lucas would have definitely told me but if he haven't talked yet then it only means they have full control on it" Elena concluded not stressing herself more.

Tomorrow Maira and Daniel were going to register their marriage and she didn't wanted to think anything negative.

Everything till now was going smooth and she hope it will go even smooth until they complete their wedding.

After having some talks with the girls Maira went to her room. She had been lately giving hard time to Daniel and she knew it.

Her anger towards him had already subsided the time he came to pick her up from her company.

Entering inside the room she looked around to find it empty. She had thought maybe Daniel must be inside waiting for her but she was wrong.

She walked to her closet to get changed when a pair of arms snaked her from behind...

"When did you come" she asked 

"When you walked inside the room I silently following you" he buried his face in the crook of her neck.

"Sneaky boy" she turned to face.

Daniel had not slept the other night because he was asked by his brother to get back to his room and sleep alone.

Daniel who had thought maybe his brothers company can make him fall asleep peacefully but no.. even his brother threw him out.

"You should not bully me like this babe.. It's really hard to win against you" he pouted making her chuckle.

Daniel never mind getting cowed by her because he knew she would easily melt for his cute action even though sometimes it was over the board.

"You needed it" taking out her clothes she tried to walk pass him but was swiftly carried in his arms.

"Daniel let me change first" she wriggled in his arms asking him to let her down.

"No need to get change this dress looks nice on you" Daniel had finally got hold on her after she had skillfully managed to ignored him for so many days.

Placing her on the bed he crawled and laid his head on her lap. It had been days he had got romantic with her. Either he was busy with his surgery or sometimes ignored by her.

"Are you nervous" she asked when he held her hand and placed on his heart.

Maira looked like a hard shell from outside but was the softest person Daniel had ever met. She had put this façade hiding her true self but was the sweetest person who happened to make his life fill with joy and adventures. 

"A little bit" 

"Even I am... I still can't believe we are getting married Daniel" a smile formed on her lips as she recall her time when she had unknowingly stumbled on him.

The night which she thought was just like a passing time turned out to be the most important and memorable moment for her. 

"It feels like we have just met a few days ago... "Daniel had never thought that one night with her will blow his mind.

She was the very first girl who had entered his heart letting him feel different emotion which he thought he was not capable of.

"That mere night turn out to be our fate to meet each other. If not I would still had been waiting for falling in love" Maira expressed her heart. She was a girl who wanted to fall in love before she would get married.

Yes she dated many before she met Daniel but the connection she felt with Daniel was not felt with any of her ex's.

"Thank your for looking for me and not letting me go" she leaned down and pecked his lips.

Daniel and Maira had their moment even though they would fight a lot. They knew there was no one better who knew them except they both and that's what made them stand out from the other two couple.

"I thank you for tolerating me and my childish act" deepening the kiss Daniel got up and devoured her back.

Being a doctor was the plus point Daniel had .He was aware of Maira's health condition and keeping that in mind he didn't do anything except the kiss.

Inside Samantha and Ethan were unpacking their luggage. She was finally at peace that she didn't had to look Laila's face for some time now but she had not forgotten what she had heard the girls say.

'Should I tell him what I heard' Samantha had not told him anything as she thought it will only made her mood off.

They were happy to come here to attend her sister's wedding and she didn't wanted to feel low thinking about irrelevant people.

"Daniel is going to be a father but he himself is a child... I really feel bad for Maira" he laughed how Daniel is still a child sometimes and after knowing he was soon going to become a father Ethan couldn't help but imagine how his child is going to be like.

His words caught his attention. She saw him laughing talking about his friend and how happy he looked to be around them.

Sometimes she felt she had purposely dragged Ethan along with her when they can tried to be long distance.

Letting go of the clothes in her hand she walked and back hugged him burring her face in his back.

"Do you miss being here with everyone" she asked with still her face hidden.

Ethan was silent for a while. He didn't expect she would talk something like this all of sudden.

Pulled her Ethan made her look up. She looked upset which he didn't like. Ethan had never backed on his words because he was determined to be with her no matted what.

Yes sometimes he missed his friend his place here but he also knew it was for sometime and latter everything would change as he would adjust to the new surrounding.

"And what makes you think that" he raised his brow watching her sad face.

Not wanting to see his curious gaze she hide her face in his chest and muttered, "You look so happy and lively around everyone here" 

Even she was missing her friends and sister. The time she had secretly came here to find a suitable job they were the first people whom she had made friends with and from then on they became family...

"It's not that I am complaining but sometimes I feel I purposely dragged you along just because I didn't wanted to part with you.. and now I regret for not even asking your thoughts"

Etan chuckled listening how matured her words came. She was a small girl who was growing up along with him. Yes sometimes she would throw fits with her childish side but then sometimes she would shock him with her understanding words.

"You know when I first told Lucas about my stay" she pulled back looking curiously.

"What..."

"Don't worry anything about here. Samantha need you the most now... We all are happy for you... This were his words when he easily agreed with me"

He first thought Lucas would get upset because of his sudden decision of settling to a new place far away from them but when Lucas assure him he felt more respect for his friend.

"It was always my decision to follow you Sam and I didn't thought there would come a day when it would be impossible for me to part from you" 

Sam was his heartbeat and he didn't knew how he would function without her.

Samantha felt a big stone lifted from her heart listening his words. His word were like a soothing breeze which would calm her nerves.

"Now smile and give me back my naughty Sam..."he pinched her cheeks making her smile .

"That's my girl. Now come on we need to unpack more two bags" he looked at their luggage which they carried as if they were shifting apartments.

Lucas who was sitting inside his study was going through the video. His hand fisted watching how the car followed Elena and Maira too.

"This bast**d .. I am not going to leave you once I get hold on you.." he shut the laptop with a loud thud and stood up.

Walking out from the study he headed towards his bedroom.. He was still feeling guilty for hiding such a big thing from Elena but if he wanted to trap Landon he had to keep them under wrap.
