50 Android Saga Begins

Chichi was finally happy to be in a martial arts family. Now she was even pushing Gohan to train harder and gain even more fame so more people would join their dojo.

There wasn't much they could teach them in just 4 days. They had just begun to teach some basic training and work on their bodies. Like carrying weights and running laps around Mt. Paozu.

Mt. Paozu had many scary beasts and giant dinosaurs roaming. During their first day of running laps, all the adults were screaming their lungs off, while the juniors were crying an ocean filled with tears. Videl was even snatched by a pterodactyl, Gohan jumped up and knocked down the pterodactyl and carried Videl down. It wasn't in the Saiyan's nature to waste food, they took a short break and roasted the big pterodactyl.

Along the way, they met numerous beasts and dinosaurs, some were friends with Icarus and Gohan and even came forward to gently rub Gohan.

Before they knew it, it was already time to fight the androids.

Raditz, Goku, Gohan and Piccolo flew to an island 9 kilometers southwest of South City. The time was 9 o'clock, one hour before the androids would attack the city on the island.

Raditz's group wasn't the first to arrive, Bulma, Yamcha, Krillin and Vegeta were already there. Bulma came because she was interested in seeing the androids. As a scientist herself, how could she not want to see an android created by Dr. Gero. And one that is so overwhelmingly powerful that even Future Trunks who is a Super Saiyan could not defeat.

After waiting for a bit, Tien Shinhan and Nappa arrived. Vegeta stared with hostility at them, seemingly wanting to take revenge for his loss against Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu, as for Nappa, he was likely still angry over his betrayal.

"Tien Shinhan, where is Chiaotzu?" Gohan asked.

The Z Team waited until it was 10 o'clock. Yajirobe came flying in a hovercar.

"Here, I brought you guys some senzu beans from Sage Korin." Yajirobe handed over a cloth bag filled with some senzu beans to Goku.

"Wow, thanks a bunch! Give my regards to Korin." Goku said happily.

"Well, have fun." Yajirobe jumped back into his car.

"Huh? Hey, Yajirobe aren't you going to fight?" Goku asked a foolish question.

"Unlike you idiots, I'm not suicidal. As if I'm going to stick around with you guys!" Yajirobe turned on the engine and flew away.

"Seriously. Goku you want to kill that fatty? He is only stronger than that Satan guy..." Raditz said.

"Ahahaha! Is that so? That's true, his Ki is too weak. Yajirobe, that fellow has been skipping training ever since we fought King Piccolo." Goku laughed foolishly and scratched his head.

Boom! Yajirobe's hovercar that had flown a fair distance exploded and crashed in the sea. Two tiny black dots hovered next to the explosion before flying down to the city below.

"Yajirobe!" Gohan yelled.

"Huh... That looks familiar..." Raditz muttered.

The group was shocked that they could not sense those two's Ki.

"They don't have any Ki because they are androids." Gohan assumed.

Krillin went to check on Yajirobe since they could still sense his Ki, he wasn't dead at least. Goku left the senzu beans with Bulma.

"That's a good idea, lest they get ruined in battle." Raditz nodded his head.

The rest of the Z Team spread out and landed in the city. Since they could not sense the androids' Ki, they would have to rely on their eyes.

Raditz assumed the two androids were Dr. Gero and #19 and not #17 and #18. So he wasn't in a hurry to find them and just leisurely walked around the streets.

"Hey! Isn't that Raditz? The Champion of the 24th WMA?" People recognized Raditz and started gossiping.

"Raditz! Please can I have a picture with you?" A young man shouted.

"Can I have your autograph?" A young girl waved a piece of paper.

Raditz was pretty free so he cooperated. After everyone left, Raditz even went and bought an ice cream cone.

Similar scenes happened to Goku, Gohan, Piccolo and Tien Shinhan. All of them had shined during the WMA and gained some fame.

After a while, Yamcha's Ki dropped so drastically that everyone knew something had happened to him. Everyone hurriedly flew to Yamcha.

Only Raditz who was still eating his ice cream cone looked a bit out of place.

Yamcha was lying on the ground with an arm thick hole in his stomach.

"I'll bring back and feed him a senzu bean." Raditz held the ice cream cone in one hand and grabbed Yamcha with his other hand and flew away.

"It's good that the story is following the original storyline here." Raditz smiled. The unknown was the most troublesome. Since the first two androids appearing was indeed Dr. Gero and #19, Raditz intended to take his time until #18, #17 and #16 appear.

He wasn't sure they would be able to defeat them right away, but as long as this timeline follows the original storyline, then these three androids were not evil. It matters little whether they defeat the androids or not.

Since Raditz had taken Cell's Time Machine, he had confirmed that Cell exists in this timeline.

"Hm... I wonder if I can ignore the fact that the Hyperbolic Time Chamber's door will disappear once I stay beyond 2 years in it. I've already entered for one year. Raditz was confident in himself as well, he still had another year to train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, it was more than enough for him to increase the time he can keep the Half Powered Super Saiyan state. Even without Gohan, Raditz was confident in defeating Perfect Cell.

Raditz arrived at Bulma's spot and took back the senzu bean bag. He fed one senzu bean to Yamcha.

Krillin had brought back Yajirobe who had almost drowned in the sea.

There were a few loud explosions in the city, then everyone flew to a deserted area. Goku's Ki spiked, he had become a Super Saiyan, but his Ki was erratic.

"Huh...? Don't tell me he actually got the heart disease now..." Raditz was speechless. He had urged Goku to take the medicine he got from Trunks even if he wasn't sick. But since Raditz had spent most of the last year on training his Super Saiyan Transformation on his own. He didn't know if Goku had taken the medicine. But from sensing Goku's erratic Ki, Raditz was pretty sure Goku had ignored his words.

"This is bad! Those, those guys. The androids can absorb energy!! I have to tell them!" Yamcha yelled and flew toward the Z Team.

Raditz and Krillin also flew to the Z Team.

Goku was dominating the fight against #19 until he fired a Ki beam which was then absorbed by #19.

Goku was already panting, the only reason no one pointed it out was because Goku's Ki was so big and he was dominating the fight.

"Oh no! Watch out! Those androids can absorb energy with those round things in their palms!" Yamcha yelled. No one knew why he had continued watching the fight, and only warned after seeing #19 start absorbing Goku's Ki beam.

But once #19 absorbed the energy, he got a lot stronger and was now beating Goku.

Raditz appeared behind Goku and pulled him back.

"Hey, didn't I tell you to eat your medicine?" Raditz threw Goku to the back with the rest of the Z Team who were watching the fight from the sidelines.

"You are Raditz, the new WMA Champion. And also Son Goku's elder brother." Dr. Gero spoke robotically.

"You are up to date." Raditz raised his eyebrow. The WMA was just 5 days ago, to think Dr. Gero would be able to find out so quickly.

"I, is it really the heart disease acting up right now?" Goku panted and held his chest where his heart was. Goku reverted back from his Super Saiyan state.

"Go back and take your medicines before your condition gets worse." Said Raditz.

"Alright." At least Goku was still obedient, he nodded and slowly floated away.

"Raditz, you want to take Goku's place?" Dr. Gero did not block Goku and instead focused on Raditz. Maybe because #19 had absorbed some of Goku's energy and had empowered and boosted Dr. Gero's confidence. Or he was warier of Raditz who had defeated Goku in the WMA and won the championship.

"Sure, let's have a warmup." Raditz started stretching nonchalantly. He was interested in fighting an android who he could not feel their Ki. It would be the first time he fights without being able to rely on his Ki senses. He will have to rely on eyes, so he thought it was a good idea to have a warmup fight before he fights #18 and #17.

"#20, please permit me to handle Raditz." #19 said, seemingly greedy to absorb more energy.

"That is fine, but be careful." Dr. Gero said.

Raditz transformed into a Super Saiyan and started fighting #19. It didn't take long for Raditz to get used to fighting with his eyes. #19 wasn't too fast as he hadn't absorbed too much energy from Goku. Whenever Raditz couldn't see #19, he would dash forward and then turn around and block #19's attack.

Even if he didn't know the exact location of #19, he was sure #19 would take the chance to attack his back where he can't see him.

After a minute and a half, Raditz had gotten used to fighting with his eyes, he did not play around anymore and suddenly appeared behind #19 and chopped off #19's head with a knife-hand.

#19's head was still alive, Raditz stomped his head to pieces to make sure he stayed dead.

Feeling the time limit approaching, Raditz hurriedly reverted back.

"Raditz, I did not expect you to be this strong. But it doesn't matter how strong you are, you will not be able to defeat us, androids." Dr. Gero said.

"Dr. Gero, stop playing around, show me what you've got." Raditz ridiculed. Even though he had been using the name #20 to hide his identity, Raditz didn't care and simply reveal his identity.

Whether Dr. Gero lived or not, Raditz could still activate the other androids in Dr. Gero's lab.

"How did you...?!" Dr. Gero was alarmed. He quickly escaped.

Raditz did not chase him, instead, he took out a senzu bean and ate it.

The others were shocked by learning Dr. Gero's identity that they forgot to chase after him.

"Didn't the future boy say there were two androids? What's going on?" Krillin said.
