It was time for the banquet to begin. Su Jing entered the banquet holding Gu Jue in a handsome suit. 

Gu Jue’s appearance was hard to look away from. He had an aura about him and his broken beauty made people’s hearts ache.

Li Xiu almost choked upon hearing this. After a while, she started scolding again, “Stop fooling around and get him out of here. Qin Feng will be here soon!”

“I’m not fooling around. I brought him here today to announce our relationship.” Su Jing pulled Gu Jue aside and waved their hands in front of Li Xiu.

Li Xiu was so angry that she took a few deep breaths. She pulled their hands away and pushed Gu Jue away, “You better leave on your own. Otherwise, if I call someone to chase you away, it won’t look good.”

Su Jing stood in front of Li Xiu and protected Gu Jue, “Don’t touch him!”

If it were anyone else, Gu Jue would have retaliated. But, this person was Su Jing’s mother. He must tolerate her bullying him.

“Do you really want to drive me mad?” Li Xiu covered her chest and tried to control her voice as she scolded. She was afraid it wouldn’t look good if others heard her.

At this moment, the guests around them let out a surprised cry. The three of them looked toward the source of the sound. At the source of the commotion, two people walked toward them – Qin Feng and Lin Yi.

They were a perfect match. Qin Feng was dressed in a black suit and had a tall and straight figure. Lin Yi was dressed in a long white dress and looked elegant and charming.
