Gu Xi wanted to ask, but Pei Qian had already let someone take it away.

She glared at him and felt that he was trying to trick her!

Pei Qian stood up and smiled. “I will send you to work!”

“I have my own car!” Gu Xi gritted her teeth.

Pei Qian tilted his body towards her and gave her a gentle smile. “Your chauffeur left last night, so unless you want to walk there…”

He waited at the doorstep. Gu Xi looked at him for a long while before she reluctantly walked towards him.

Pei Qian smiled at her. “I have sent… your gown for dry-cleaning. Come and take it on another day.”

As she sat inside the car, Gu Xi looked out of the car window and pretended that she could not hear his words.

However, Pei Qian suddenly gripped her small chin, and he said in a soft voice, “You cried last night…”

Gu Xi wanted to move her head away, but he did not let her!

“Do you still remember what you said last night? You said you wanted to let go of the past…” His voice was seductively deep, and it induced some strange thoughts in one’s mind inside a cramped car.

Gu Xi pursed her lips. “It’s none of your business!”

Without her realizing, his face inched closer—so close that there was not much distance between them…

“Gu Xi, you better stay obedient and listen to me…” He puffed his scorching hot breath on her lips, and that made her body shiver!

His slender fingers gently cupped her face. “You are not allowed to see him again.”

“Why?” Gu Xi’s body leaned back on the car seat and she could not move an inch.

In the dim car, his deep eyes stared at her and he only managed to throw out a few words after a long time. “Because you are mine.”

With that, he kissed her…

The car stopped at the entrance of Gu Group’s building and it attracted the attention of many people. Although they did not dare to be so brazen, they still kept a cautious eye on them.

Initially, Gu Xi wanted to get down alone from the car to proceed upstairs, but Pei Qian got down too…

“Gu Xi, you forgot your handbag!” He walked towards her and handed over the item. He then cupped her head and gave her forehead a faint kiss…

She placed a set of newspapers in front of Gu Xi…

Gu Xi glanced at it and immediately became furious. She, Pei Qian, Qin Mo, and Tang Xinru were written under the entertainment section of every newspaper!

Other than the picture taken at the Crystal Hotel, there was another picture taken where she and Pei Qian were at the car park outside…

There were even pictures of her entering and leaving Pei Qian’s house with the gown she wore last night as well as that morning’s outfit!

It was taken very clearly. Thus, even if she wanted, she could not deny that fact!

At that moment, everyone in City H knew that she had slept with Pei Qian!

“Think about how you will explain this to grandpa,” Lin Yunzhi coldly said before giving a soft smirk. “Also, think carefully as to who could have revealed this information to the media. You have to know that without Pei Qian agreeing to this, the media wouldn’t even dare report such news.”
