Looking at the photo in front of her, Tang Xinru shivered in fury!

Why did things turn out like this?

In the photo, Gu Xi and Pei Qian shared a passionate kiss and Gu Xi’s clothes were all over the place. A men’s jacket was hung over her shoulders, and needless to think anyone would know what she and Pei Qian did!

Tang Xinru’s whole body was shaking. Her beautiful face scrunched up as she flipped it over and over. Until the last page, it was a photograph of Gu Xi leaving the room with Pei Qian’s clothes!

Looking at the time, it was captured that next morning!

So the person who had sex with Gu Xi was Pei Qian!

She took her phone and dialed a number. In a hoarse voice, she asked, “Why didn’t you tell me that the photos you took were of Pei Qian?”

On the other end of the call, the person laughed. “Isn’t Mr. Pei more newsworthy?”

“Bastard, you took my money…” Without a second thought, Tang Xinru threw the phone away.

Her hand clasped the hem of her shirt in an attempt to calm down.

“I’m Song Yazhan. Miss Tang, our president would like to meet you.” A cold voice drifted through the phone.

Tang Xinru’s heart shook in fear. She wanted to speak, but Song Yazhan gave her no chance to reject him. “I’m sure Miss Tang knows that Mr. Pei hates waiting for people and even more with people not showing up to meetings.”

Tang Xinru hesitated momentarily before she said, “Sure!”

Song Yazhan notified her of the time and venue…

After Tang Xinru had hung up the call, her expression turned sour.

Her fear of Pei Qian was not because of his powers alone, but of the man’s way of settling things.

Tang Xinru lived the whole day in uneasiness…

At six o’clock in the evening, she left the house…

When her car slowly drove off from the Qin Family’s large residences, another car slowly drove over from the corner of the courtyard…

Tang Xinru pursed her lips and let the two men in black clothes carefully search her body. After they found nothing on her, she walked towards Pei Qian’s side and snarled, “There is nothing on me!”

Pei Qian raised his hand and the two people retreated to the corner of the wall—just like the invisible men!

He gestured to her. “Miss Tang, please take a seat.”

Tang Xinru felt an uneasiness in her heart as she had always been fearful of Pei Qian!

She cautiously sat down and licked her lips. In a quivering voice, she asked, “I don’t know why Mr. Pei… is looking for me?”

Pei Qian leaned back on the leather sofa in a relaxed manner.

His looks were excellent and no doubt, it made one’s heart flutter. But a hint of anger was seen in his eyes.

“I think Miss Tang should first explain to me what happened last night.” He pulled a soft smile yet that very smile did not reach his ears.

Tang Xinru felt a ‘pang’ in her heart. He indeed knew!

At that instant, she wanted to leave, but Pei Qian stopped her before she could even move. He kept a calm demeanor, and he warned, “Miss Tang is going to be Madam Qin soon; however if you lose your child you also lose your ticket into marrying a rich family…”

“What exactly do you want from me?” Tang Xinru’s face turned ash black as she loudly questioned Pei Qian.

Her chest vigorously heaved up and down. She never felt so afraid before!

Her instincts told her that the man in front of her could do anything…

As Pei Qian saw her pale face, he softly laughed. “What do I want to do? I should be the one asking you this question.”

“I don’t understand! I need to leave!” Tang Xinru suddenly stood up. She felt that one minute here would mean one more minute of danger!

She told herself that after she manages to escape this place, she would never meet up with him again. As long as her baby was still alive, Qin Mo would never be able to kick her away!

However, the men from earlier on walked over and pressed her down to sit before she could even react.

Pei Qian slowly raised a lighter and lit up a cigarette. After one smoke, he chuckled. “Where are you going?”

“Miss Tang, you used a drug to climb on Qin Mo’s bed in the past while similarly, I can pull you down from his bed!” He scoffed and looked at her. “Did you really think that you will be safe once you are out of here?”

Tang Xinru tried to break free but failed. She shouted, “You are a lunatic!”

“You were the one who instigated me to do it! If Gu Xi knew it was you, would she still be with you?” As she struggled, her hair cascaded past her shoulder. She looked pathetic and was far different from the image that she created herself to be!

Pei Qian chuckled. “You claim that I instigated you to do it, but where is the evidence?”

His body leaned over and the cigarette in his hands hovered around her lips. “Also, how would you know if I care about whether Gu Xi ends up with me or not?”

Tang Xinru raised her head, and her face filled with indignation. In a mocking tone, she said, “Yeah, you are just using her as a tool to deal with Qin Mo… Pei Qian, you never helped me from the start. You did all that just to win over Gu Xi, so how could you let go of her that easily? Aren’t you scared she’s going to reconcile with Qin Mo if ever you do let her go?”

“What to do? Miss Tang has seen through me!” Pei Qian flicked his cigarette and it slowly landed on her hand. The fire spark was so hot that she wanted to jump up…

She finally broke free after a while, but her forehead also broke out in a cold sweat.

The man in front of her was a demon!

“What do you want?” Tang Xinru’s face blackened and she squirmed in her seat. She did not dare to look at the wound on her hand even once!

Pei Qian started to laugh. “I’m not going to do anything! I’m just warning you not to… do any tricks. Because if you do…”

“If Gu Xi loses even a single hair, I will hit your baby.” Despite the soft tone, Tang Xinru was so frightened that her whole body broke out in a cold sweat.

She did not dare to suspect the validity of his words…

She gritted her teeth and glared at him. “You want to snatch her just because Qin Mo likes her, right? Pie Qian, why are you so fixed in going against Qin Mo?”

Tang Xinru was not a fool. She was to be wed with Qin Mo soon, so of course, the person she was facing must be her husband’s enemy.
