Chapter 53 - Catacombs Forest(1)

Arriving at the dorm, he opened Francisco's secret stash, revealing a long black sword with strange engravings on its blade and hilt.

"I'm sorry Francisco, I don't know who owns this weapon but I have to help a friend"

"A good sword but why is it cursed? I don't even know how the active skill works.

Plus it increases my agility and stamina, too bad it wouldn't buff my strength, I've no choice but to use it even if it's cursed. I'm also a cursed person myself " Kelan thought as he picked the black sword and stored it inside his space ring, then he left the dorm.

Walking through the military base, Kelan could see a group of students staring at a large board.

Kelan walked towards the board and he was surprised by what he saw.

"This is the S-score board! And my name is the number two in the leading marathon" Kelan mumbled as he could see his name boldly written on the digital billboard, a boy named 'Stam Davand' was in the number one position of the leading marathon while Francisco was the third.

Kelan could hear the other students mumbling and cursing.

"Shit! It's not even up to three days some freaks have started to hunt and earn a lot of crystal as if it was plucked from the tree"

"Ahh! I wish I knew those guys named Stam and Kelan, I would smash their heads with a brick"

"Imagine that guy called Stam, earning 80 C-rank beast crystal, what a monster!" 

"I also heard rumors from the guild, that the boy named Kelan killed 250 E-rank beasts along with his friend who had the third position, plus he also killed a B-rank beast. If he had sold the B-rank crystal to the guild then he would have been in the first position!"

"What! B-B-rank crystal! Who are these freaks?" The students swallowed hard at the thought of offending the anomalies who could kill B-rank and C-rank beasts effortlessly like a walk in the park.

Kelan ignored the swears and curses of the students and he began to walk away from the military base, following Regan's GPS  location with his watch.

"Who is this guy called Stam? He must be strong to be able to kill 80 C-rank beasts effortlessly, I would have a hard time fighting the hordes of  80 C-rank beasts at once.

Besides, what kind of trouble would Regan be in, if he was captured, his watch would have been destroyed immediately" Kelan thought of all the possibilities and conditions Regan could be in.

When Kelan was in the outer section of the base, he waved his hand and brought out his hoverboard from his space ring.

He hopped on the hoverboard and maneuvered it around, before heading to the location on his watch.

The hoverboard was a small carriable flat board that was 0.7 meter wide and 0.07 meter thick.

The board was powered by crystals either from mines or beasts making it luxurious and convenient, people were staring at Kelan as he dived the board as it was only rich brats that had the privilege to buy one.

After flying for a few minutes, Kelan could see the hoverboard blinking with yellow light, indicating that the crystal inside the power compartment is almost expended. 

Kelan descended and sighed as he stored back the board Inside his space ring since it could help him flee from a tough situation.

"I have to always keep some E-rank crystals with me, and why are the elves so fond of nature," Kelan thought and he began to run towards the location displayed on his watch, running through the odd forest, Kelan could see that the name of the forest was Catacombs, according to the information his watch gave him.

After running for thirty minutes and following the GPS, Kelan arrived at a cliff that wasn't too high. He could see a thick vine firmly hanging on the top of the cliff. Sighing, Kelan grabbed the vine and began to use it to descend to the surface of the floor.

When he descended, he saw a vast land with craters and valleys.

Some few F-rank beasts that saw him attacked him on sight but they were all killed effortlessly like insects.

Following the directions of the Gps and walking through the vast land, Kelan could see humans' footmarks. The footmarks were all on the same way he was heading making him furrowed his eyebrows.

"These footmarks are fresh and why do I feel like Regan is also on the move, I have been tracking him for a while and I had yet to see him. If he leaves the range of the military server then I won't be able to help him out" Kelan thought and he hastened his footsteps.

Suddenly, he arrived at a water fountain and his eyes caught a glimpse of a figure, then he cautiously walked to where he spotted the figure, however, when Kelan went near the figure, he was surprised to see an elven woman bathing in a small stream.

The woman also felt a presence then she turned her head and saw Kelan staring at her naked body.

"Kyaaaaa!!! Die! You idiot!" The woman screamed and charged at Kelan with her sword in her hand.

Kelan wanted to tell the woman that it was a misunderstanding but the elven woman was persistent in killing him.

Evading the swift slash of a sword aimed at him, Kelan swallowed at the speed of the woman's attack.

"Fuck! is this woman an A-rank super" Kelan cursed as he struggled to evade the barrage of attack from the woman.

"Why won't you die, you piece of trash! How dare you peep at me" the woman halted her attack and cried while she stomped her foot on the floor.

"I swear I wasn't peeping, I was going on my way"

Kelan replied but the woman wouldn't stop crying, making him wonder if her body was made out of gold.

Unexpectedly, the woman realized that she was still naked while she attacked Kelan, making all her heavy packages jiggle with each of her movements.

"Ahhhh!!!!! You are still staring at me, you pervert," the woman cried and picked up her clothes with her red Rosie face.

As Kelan was about to ignore the childish woman and go his way, he felt a cold blade on his neck from behind.

"Your Highness, I'm sorry for showing up late. I didn't know that there was an intruder" a voice sounded from behind.
