Cherry then drove to the hotel and went to the room where she had already met Jackson for the last couple of times.
When she arrived in front of the door, Cherry first took a deep breath and then knocked on it.
Jackson opened the door, and he was unsurprised to see her standing there. He turned around and silently walked into the room.
Cherry didn't say a word and diligently followed him inside.
When she saw Jackson casually sitting on the sofa, Cherry asked him, "Why did you ask me to come here?"
Looking at Cherry, Jackson ignored her question, and said, "I'll give you two options: to move back with me in the apartment, or to let Joe live with me."
"No!" immediately said Cherry. She couldn't come back to the apartment, and neither could she let Jackson take Joe away from her.
Jackson wasn't surprised at all, because he had expected Cherry's response. He looked at her, and said, "Well? Do you want a third option?"
"I won't move back with you to the apartment, and neither Joe!" said Cherry.
"You don't want to come back there?" asked Jackson. After he thought for a while, he said, "Then come to the villa. It's renovated, and it's more than enough for three people to live inside it."
"No!" refused Cherry again. "Joe and I won't move back! Don't even think about it!"
Cherry had clearly expressed her intention. How could she possibly move back when her son's future fate was so unclear inside the Chu Clan? Thinking of Sally, she thought that her fate was also undecided.
When he saw that Cherry was so stubborn, Jackson stood up from the couch and came closer to her. He looked at her, and asked, "Cherry, do you really want to die?"
Cherry wasn't afraid of him, and instead she looked into his eyes, and said, "I'll never move back, and neither will Joe!"
Jackson then suddenly pinched Cherry's chin, and fiercely said, "Cherry, I don't want to blame you for what happened five years ago, but note that I've already been more than kind to you already. Don't try to push me!"
Cherry struggled to look at him, and said, "Jackson, I have no plans to move back now."
Cherry's mind was a total mess, since not
“Do you still want to run away after what happened last night?”
Their relationship changes overnight. She tries to keep her distance from him, while he comes closer and closer.
Spoiling her, he gives her everything she desires. His only wish is to keep her around. The whole world is envious of what she has.
“Never rush in a relationship,” she says calmly.
ut she didn't say anything to her. After all, Cherry hadn't come to work for a whole week, and she thought that Cherry might still have something on her mind that she hadn't dealt with yet.
As usual, Cherry sat down with her family to eat dinner after she came back home from work.
Wilson said that he had something to do with some of his friends and needed to go out for a while, but Cherry didn't pay too much attention to him.
Later in the evening, Joe cleverly nestled in Cherry's arms, and the mother and son were as they usually were. Cherry told bedtime stories to Joe, saw him fall asleep, and then put the storybook aside.
She felt happy when she looked at her son. Joe was very sensible, and hadn't asked her about Jackson not even once since he had last seen him in the ward. He seemed to be able to tell that she was in a bad mood, and he was very considerate with her. Knowing that she had such a wonderful son made her feel very happy and warmed her heart to it's core.
In the morning, Cherry got up and also woke Joe. After she washed with Joe, she went downstairs and saw that Elsa was frantically moving around in the living room.
Cherry immediately knew that something had happened.
She walked into the living room and looked at Elsa, and asked, "Mom, what's wrong? What happened?"
Her mother anxiously held her hand, and said, "Cherr, it's your brother...something happened to your brother's company."
