"Wow, you are so considerate," Lawrence said. He took the toothbrush from her hand and kissed her on the neck.
"I only did it this time. Next time, you have to do it for me!" Aria rasped out, her mouth full of toothpaste.
"No problem," Lawrence agreed readily and began to brush his teeth.
After getting ready, the couple walked out of the apartment. Aria got into Lawrence's car, asking him to drop her off as she had left her car behind at the company parking lot yesterday.
When they arrived at Aria's company, Lawrence stopped the car.
"Remember to get some breakfast," Lawrence reminded her as she unlatched her seat belt.
"I will." Aria planted a kiss on his cheek before getting out. Standing up, she waved at him, saying, "I will miss you!"
A smile was plastered on Lawrence's face as he saw his girl walk into the office building. Watching her, he felt at ease. She seemed to have become a regular part of his life. He didn't think he could live without her; he was getting so addicted. She warmed his heart like no one else did. He would do anything for her, even if it meant he had to change his principles. However, he had one condition, he would never hurt his family.
Lawrence started the engine again and drove toward Chu Villa. There was nothing much to do at FS Empire. Mike and Tim had set about the tasks assigned to them. It would take them some time to finish. As for Greg, there was no need to worry about him. Lawrence trusted him and believed in his abilities.
Jackson was exercising in the courtyard when he saw Lawrence's car get in the yard.
Lawrence got out of his car. "Father!" he said, waving at Jackson shortly.
"Hello, son. You are early today." Jackson was a little surprised to see Lawrence come home so early. He made a rough guess about what had happened. "Did your mother
“Let's go and register our marriage on your birthday!”
Marrying Daniel should have been her best birthday gift, but everything was ruined the moment when she caught him sleeping with another woman on the day before her birthday.
“He’s going to marry that woman! She... was my best friend!"
early today.
"I am free this noon," Lawrence said to him. "Actually, I saw Anna yesterday. She told me we'd be having lunch together."
"So, you have kept in touch with Anna?" Cherry was pleasantly surprised. She saw Anna at a party once and had been impressed by her elegance and charm. She had grown into quite a beauty. What was more, she had an outstanding career too.
"Yes, we have been in touch since she came to town," Lawrence told his mother honestly. He didn't think it was necessary to hide the truth from her.
"Oh, that's great!" Cherry beamed at him, smiling prettily. She turned to Jackson. "I saw Anna," she said. "She is stunning, well-educated and has excellent manners. She left quite an impression on me."
Jackson nodded in approval. "BD Group has enjoyed rapid development in recent years. Although FS takes the leading position in the city, we shouldn't underestimate BD's power. If we intend to keep a firm foothold internationally, we must share good relations with BD Group," he said.
Lawrence heard his father clearly, knowing that the words were meant for him. He understood what Jackson was pointing towards. His father would definitely like to see Lawrence get hitched to Anna.
