Hours later…
Suzuki Kyou was leading Han Jie out of their hotel suite. He entered the hotel's ballroom from a different door holding Han Jie by the waist. The ballroom had been decorated in a more romantic way than Han Jie thought a business party would look like. Suzuki Kyou led her to a podium in front of the ballroom, drawing the attention of the guests one by one until they were all staring at them. Han Jie felt self-conscious in her shoes.
"Most of you wonder why this party was organized," Suzuki Kyou started not even bothering with greeting the guests. "It is not just to celebrate a merger, but my engagement to the woman I have been waiting for all along, the woman of my dreams. Han Mei." He said with the bright smile on his face.
People were clapping, but all Han Jie could hear was Suzuki Kyou calling her, well not really, the woman of his dreams. It felt romantic and strange at the same time. She felt like the choice of his words was meant more than just an act. It gives her the impression that Han Mei and Suzuki Kyou had met before.
Nevertheless, Han Jie tried her best to place all her questions at the back of her head and tried her best to focus on the crowd in front of them. She needed to act as her sister that night perfectly.
People were cheering for the couple inside the hotel ballroom. However, outside the hotel, there are those that don't want a terrorist to bomb the hotel or a catastrophe to suddenly take place just to stop the engagement.
Wang Jin was inside her car, her hand white as she clenched them on her car's steering wheel. She could not believe that not only Suzuki Kyou still refused to acknowledge her feelings. Aside from that, he had the audacity to call her father to deal with her.
He could still remember what happened the night before…

Wang Jin was still talking to Chua Christina, and she was really looking forward to digging more information from him as much as she can. So she listened intently.
"Smart girl not asking Han Mei, she and her daddy disapprove, but that doesn't stop my Han Jie from doing the things she loves the most." Chua Christina began. "She is an artist, a manga artist. The special type. And lucky for you she just lost her publicist. So I'll let you write up stuff for her social media accounts to promote her work. It is entry-level, but it pays well." Chua Christina finished.
"No problem miss, I'll take anything at this point." Wang Jin said grinning at her reflection on the wall to floor window. She will be directly working for Han Jie that seemed to hide her own work? Isn't that a very favorable setup?
"Good I'll text you my email address. You'll send me your first stuff, and I'll email you back if I like it enough to pay for it. Okay?"
"That's fine, miss. Thank you so much." Wang Jin said she almost tap dancing to get her laptop.
Wang Jin grinned at her phone. This was better than the invitation to the party. This was information against Han Mei - no - Jie on a platter of gold.
Wang Jin knew what she was going to do, and she was going to wow the hell out of Chua Christina. The woman was not just going to be her informant, Chua Christina was about to be Wang Jin's very own contact.
She was still in a good mood because of this, and it would be better if Suzuki Kyou would be back soon and want her. Wang Jin could not help but giggle.
Even though she tells other people secretly that he is gay, that was actually not true. He never confirmed it, but there was no use guessing.
Why not? He was with her before, and then her brother seduced him. If her brother did not look like a girl, would Suzuki Kyou bother?
Because of this, she was sure that there was still a chance for her.
Wang Jin was giggling when she noticed the light coming from the car headlight passed by the window. She hurriedly went out of his room and surprised him.
Just like before, the house staff had let her in, and because of the 'gifts' she sent out, Wang Jin was sure that they wouldn't bother with her until Suzuki Kyou got home.
She was waiting in the living room patiently, and when he came in. However, he was sad with someone else, her father.
***
Wang Jin could still remember it clearly, and it was the biggest embarrassment of her life.
When they left Suzuki Kyou's house, her father could not stop yelling at her. It was also embarrassing for him.
She could not blame her father. The bad history with her brother and Suzuki Kyou was already embarrassing enough, and now his only daughter was trying to seduce him as well. It was so obvious by just looking at what she was wearing.
Aside from that, she was forbidden to go to the engagement party or get close to Suzuki Kyou and Han Mei.
Wang Jin felt like crying. Her only comfort was that she already managed to get close to Han Jie, and being around Han Mei was would not be a big issue.
Despite her father's anger, she still managed to sneak out. She was not locked inside the house, after all.
Wang Jin wanted Suzuki Kyou to know her presence. With that in mind, she stepped out of the car. Her long sexy dress was enough to make anyone drool.
She confidently walked towards the hotel ballroom area. However, she was stopped but two bulky guys wearing formal suits. They were standing in front of her.
Wang Jin frowned, "What are you doing? Get lost." She immediately snapped. The men were wearing a communication device on ears, which seemed to mean that they were part of the security of the hotel or Suzuki Kyou's personal guards.
"Miss Wang, you don't have an invitation. Please go back. It was not good to get the guests to focus on you." One of the guards softly said.
Wang Jin looked around, and she could see that some people were looking at them strangely. Her face bright red from the humiliation. "Who is your boss?" She asked through gritted teeth.
"That is not important, Miss Wang. Please leave immediately." One of the men said louder this time.
Because of this, Wang Jin had no choice but to leave. However, she vows to create chaos soon.

The next morning…
Han Mei woke up feeling anxious. She wasn't sure if the feeling belonged to herself cause it was not something or her sister.
All Han Mei knew was that something wasn't right. Han Mei got up slowly, careful not to make any sudden movements.
A few days past, she had started to feel the effects of being pregnant. The morning sickness or all day sickness, Han Mei thought with a small unladylike snort, was wearing on her like a badly applied makeup.
Han Mei wished she could shudder. But that would be considered sudden movement and her baby didn't like that.
She sat up fully in bed, leaning against the headboard behind her. Han Mei reached for a dry cracker without thinking as she caressed her stomach as she wondered absent mindlessly if her baby daddy was okay before shrugging the thought of. 'Stupid. He is doing so fine to not bother and completely forget you.' Han Mei thought to herself sarcastically as she reached for a cracker to eat.
The cracker she had just eaten almost got a one-way ticket up. Han Mei reached for another cracker when her body settled down enough for her to do so.
She had once thought it was disgusting to eat while feeling sick, but Han Mei had to admit, the crackers were just her thing. No sugar and dry. 'As normal crackers should be.' Han Mei thought as she remembered her sister smothering a cracker with way too much jam than necessary. Han Mei smiled wanly.
Han Mei forced her thoughts back to where they actually belonged. To her sister, whatever her sister was feeling right now.
She knew her sister had been worried about her when she had disappeared. She felt Han Jie's worries like twinges once or twice a day. Sometimes it felt like Han Mei was worried about Han Jie instead.
But today's emotions felt weird and oddly familiar. Like Han Mei was Han Jie in some way. Han Mei bit her lip and stared at her cell phone. Should she make another phone call?
