Chapter 99 - The Wedding Turned Into A Party.

What?

Why?

Did they hear it right?

Is it a prank?

Everyone in the hall is stunned when they heard.

"We are against the Marriage, " The voice responded again.

It belonged to a military person.

They were quiet in numbers. Chasina couldn't help but feel shocked for some time.

Chasina can felt her voice stuck in her throat. Different kinds of ellipses ran in her mind.

'Is his identity fake?'

'Is he really a terrorist?'

'If so why will the Sir. Ambrose will come?'

'No, no, he is not a terrorist. He is a SWAT Agent. He is not a terrorist,'

'Then why they have to stop my marriage?'

'Did something happen?'

'Is it something I shouldn't know?'

Chasina couldn't stop herself from overthinking.

Because it became a part of her. Because overthinking is her job.

" Captain, there is a situation," a member came forward from the bunch of people who just landed.

While the team leader of the group went near Sir. Ambrose Gabriel.

He said something to him. He immediately shot from his chair. He snapped his fingers in the air thrice.

The hidden guards who were lurking around every corner of the venue came out. In five minutes everyone came out. And the emergency protocol is issued immediately.

There is something that is going on but no one can pinpoint what is going on.

Henrieth who is standing in front of Chasina heard the words said by the guard in his ears. He widened his eyes in shock. He couldn't believe that the thing happened.

"Baby, let's call off the wedding now. I have to rush to do a mission. It includes our country's well-being," he said.

"But, sweetie, can't you go after keeping the ring on my finger and then go. I don't need you to say the vows. Just keep the ring and go," she pleaded with him.

"I won't rush things when the matters include you. Let's hold another wedding with only our friends and family," He said.

Without waiting for her reply he sped off. He called the best man and his batchmates. Even Rosy left in her bridal dress.

Chasina and the other guests left dumbfounded in the venue. Everything happened in a matter of seconds. It felt like a movie.

Chasina looked at the retreating figure of Henrieth. He didn't hear her words. He just left saying that if he doesn't leave there will be a big calamity.

Henrieth went beside Sir. Ambrose and spoke with him.

Sir. Ambrose turned around and bowed deeply.

"Sorry, the groom has to deal with something which concerns the safety of the country. So, he has to leave. Sorry for the inconvenience. The couple will get married after the mission ends," Sir. Ambrose said. He gave an apologetic smile to her and left along with Henrieth and batch.

They left with an air of intimidation. The air around them is so tense making the others break into a cold sweat.

Chasina gazed longingly at the figure which is disappearing. She felt like he was going away farther and farther away from her life.

She felt like she was being suffocated. Suddenly she couldn't breathe. She felt like some is strangling her to death by blocking her nose with something. She is unable to breathe.

Her happy life is in front of her. She can't have it now. She felt empty and isolated. She felt like the world was turning upside down. Her world and dreams are collapsing. She doesn't know if she could take this setback.

Her eyes filled with tears. She gripped the white and purple Hyacinths bouquet tightly. Her sixth sense told her to grasp him tightly now only. She felt this was the last chance. But she couldn't do anything. For him, the country is a priority.

But she couldn't help but feel bitter in her heart. She felt a stifling pain in her heart. Suddenly she couldn't stand. Her body went limp and weak. She couldn't stand. She staggered backward a few steps.

When the silhouette of the Henrieth completely disappeared from her sight. She felt a pang in her heart when she couldn't see him anymore. She felt some warning bells in her heart. She won't know why but she just doesn't want him to go. She had a feeling he might not come to her.

But she couldn't do anything.

She looked around. She saw her father's sad face, her brother's disappointed face, and her sister-in-law's pitiful gaze at her. She could not help but feel bitter in her heart.

She felt empty from inside and outside. She blinked away the tears which were threatening to fall. She gripped the bouquet tightly. She took a deep breath.

She wiped away the tears that threatened to fall.

She is not weak, she will not let them fall.

Instead, she smiled. Her smile blinded the people who are present at the wedding.

She stepped onto the stage and took the microphone from the emcee.

"Since the wedding is canceled, I would like to announce that we will turn this wedding into a party. Let's enjoy it here. It's rare for us to meet, " she said with a big smile revealing her pearly white teeth which produced two small dimples on both her cheeks.

Everyone dumbfounded at her announcement. If it was another woman, she would cry until her lungs gave way. But She was the only woman who is capable of smiling until her jaw hurt.

Some pitied her. Others admired her.

But she didn't care.

She will not let others see her vulnerable side.

She will show her strong side. She will show how different she is from others.

She will show them she is not someone who is to be trifled.

Murmurs arose in the guests. No one could say anything.

The wedding is not called off because the groom or bride cheated. Or there is no third party involved in it. The wedding is called off because of some important matters which have to be attended.

Once again they saw Chasina going and greeting others with a toast. They gasped at her behavior.

It's true, the Commissioner has a weird personality.

Normally if it is others they would have been embarrassed and ran away from the venue. Then the guests would turn into two groups one is to ridicule one is to pity her.

But she didn't let herself get ridiculed or pitied by others.

Instead, she turned the embarrassment into something brave thing which others cannot do.
