Chapter 118 - Edward's Move

Blake, who is the nosy person of the gang is scrolling the news on the way. He didn't expect to see such blasting news. 

But Blake and others admired Chasina's guts. They didn't expect her to be like this. 

They actually admired her a lot. And they are in awe while they are watching her cold attitude.

They didn't know what to say when they saw the media's cunning action.

After reaching home. Blake and others bid goodbyes after they saw Chasina going back to her room.

She took a good warm shower. Before going to bathe she plugged her phone into a charger to charge it. After an hour she came out. Her toes and fingers turned wrinkly due to soaking in water for a long time. 

She wore a loose nightgown. Her flushed skin complimented her black nightgown. She looked very pure and gentle. She laid on her bed with her back. As her back sank into the soft mattresses.

She felt relieved. 

She felt comfy. 

She felt a sense of security.

She felt a sense of belonging.

All the events which happened in the past few days moved like a movie in her mind. She remembered each and every situation.

Hot tears flowed through her eyes. Her tears glistened under the faint yellow light. Her tears glistened like silver strings. Her tears flowed from the corner of her eyes and flowed through her ears and sank into the soft mattresses. She felt her head is hurting. She didn't how long she cried. But she cried for a long time until she slept. She slept without turning her lights off. She slept like a baby. There are traces of tears on her face. She hugged her pillow and slept.

She didn't even turn off the AC. she felt cold. She unconsciously curled into a ball and hugged herself.

Edward came to call her for the dinner. But seeing her tear stricken face as she hugged herself as she slept. He felt heartache for her. He turned off the AC and turned on the heater in her room. He covered her with a thick blanket. Few hair strands fell on her face. He tucked them beside her ear. The tigress who appeared to be untouchable and who appeared to be above everyone is now sleeping like a bullied kitten as she curled into a ball. 

She appeared like a harmless kitten. He wondered how he can carry on his life if she gets married one day and leaves him.

But seeing her sleeping like a baby he felt happy. A small smile formed on his lips. He rubbed her hair and petted her.

"Brother, my hair don't touch it," she mumbled in her sleep.

"You won't let me touch your hair in your sleep too, silly kid," he said.

He sat beside her and watched her sleeping face. 

"Brother is your hero, right? He solves your problems," he mumbled. 

He got up and turned off the lights. 

He saw her phone is ringing continuously. He went there to turn it off into silent mode. 

But when he saw the things in the messages his eyes darkened. 

He saw Blake is sending her some news articles links. He opened them and saw them.

Those are the articles about Chasina's statements and answers. He noted Blake's number and left. He took his phone and opened the videos on his phone. When he heard her laughter, her statements, and her words he felt proud. His little sister now knows how to spread her wings. 

He smiled. Since his sister wants to sue those people. He will sue them for her. He will show them how wrong it is for them to touch his sister.

He will show them, how it feels like to touch the people who held power. 

But after seeing the comments the doubt in his heart is intensified. 

He contacted his men and asked them to find a thing.

While waiting for their call Adiana called him for dinner and asked about Chasina if she is coming or not. 

When he said she slept. 

"I will keep her portion aside," he nodded at her.

He reached the dining table. He ate his food a little fastly rather than at a normal pace. No one saw the news on the internet.

After nearly an hour, he got a call from his subordinates. 

The military team which is involved in the Leuod team is hell-bent on using Chasina as their shield. In actual fact, Chasina didn't have any connections with that case after Valentine's Death. She is free of charges. And now they are dragging her just because she is a bride to be of Henrieth.

He felt it was nonsense. 

How come she is being dragged always like this?

He decided to fight head-on. So using this way, they will have a chance to pick on Chasina. He will not leave any deadlocks with them now.

He went inside and sorted out some things.

He called Blake and asked him if he has any videos of the segment. 

"No, Major. But I can get it," Blake said.

"Then I will wait for your call," he said.

"Okie, major, then I will be hanging up," Blake said. 

"Okay then!" Edward said and hung the call.

When Blake spoke with Edward he felt like he is talking to a senior. He couldn't take the oppression from him.

No wonder Chasina has such a strong presence.

An article is released. In that article, Chasina stood in the middle while the eight men stood around her like a barrier. 

When this photo is released everyone went crazy.

Many people turned into haters. The count of haters increased.

Blake got the video from start to end. Fortunately, everything happened on the roads. Some onlookers recorded them. But Blake felt getting a video from the reporters will be legit. But he didn't how he can do it. So he simply sent the video to Edward without editing.

Edward who got the video felt like he just gained another life. He quickly got his men into the work. He made them write an article. 

After they are done he personally checked the article to see if it is alright or if it needed any changes.

Normally, he wouldn't have bothered with these things. But since it involved his sister he personally took care of it. 

After that, he sent the video to them. 

The article and the video are released to the public. The article is published from an unknown IP address. 

Soon it gathered attention. Many people changed their sides. But there are still haters. 

Blake also responded to those internet new from his Twitter and tweeted,

"I don't know what's wrong with media these days. They always try to drag innocent people. Here our commissioner aka our sister is having a huge setback and a hard time. These people are targeting her. In fact, I don't understand why these media is so nosy, it's her personal life she will take care of it. Why she has to tell her future plans to them? Just because she didn't answer their questions she became arrogant? When they asked us to leave. She made us leave. She stood all alone and faced those cameras and answered every question. Now, why is it her fault? Cant these people give her some time?"

"I agree with Blake bro. Our commissioner is sick. Normally she is known for having a black hole in her stomach. But, She never cares about her health and eats whatever she likes. She is admitted to the hospital for gastritis once before also. But after that, the Rosella family took good care of her. So it never triggered. But it triggered her now due to some incidents. She drank a lot and hospitalized. But why these people are hell-bent on saying she attempted suicide. My mother said even if it's your enemy you shouldn't think about his death! But these people are cursing her" Daniel tweeted.
