Chapter 171 - Reconsidering The Decision

Ch-171

Ambrose Wore a black and brown checkered suit. He wore his gold-rimmed specs and carried a cane with an eagle head. He wore a pair of black polished shoes without a speck of dust. 

He knew Alexander was a retired army man. He took one of the best and oldest wines from his collections. 

He made his servants set the things in his car. After he was satisfied, he called his driver and made him drive the car.

Ambrose is feeling very excited. He planned to go by himself without the driver. But now he is too nervous he couldn't even hold his cane. 

He never had a family. When he was young he loved a young soldier. When he went to meet her parents, he was rejected because Ambrose is also a soldier at that time. His father in law asked him to quit working for the country. But Ambrose was stubborn even though his girlfriend asked him not to quit working for the country. At that time, their country was having a war with the country Wolf Set. 

They both had to participate in that war. So, they both had to take their part in the war. At that time, the war conditions were quite dreadful. The equipment is not quite good. So, many of the soldiers have died. He somehow managed to make it alive. But his girlfriend didn't make it. He buried his love for her and vowed not to have another woman in his life. When she died, he got pregnant with his child. From her will, he got to know she was planning to surprise him with that news. And she also decided to cut off her relations with her family, if they didn't agree to their marriage. But all her dreams just burned into ashes just like that. So, he decided to join politics at that time. When he requested better equipment from the government all his letters were ignored. If he is a part of politics then there will be no need for him to beg them. 

He was now afraid that his son might be rejected. Because during his time, he and his girlfriend are in the same field and profession and now the same thing is repeating for his son.

Will history repeat?

That was the last thing which he wanted to happen.

He felt if he appeared along with his son then his son might mess up things. But if he didn't appear along with his son then he would be not following the tradition. 

Sigh.....

It's hard to be a father.

What a hard situation!?

If his son is a little capable then he wouldn't have to face this!

Ambrose wanted to smack his son for being useless. 

After deep contemplation, he decided to head to the presidential Palace and go along with his 

Son.

Chasina sat on a couch as she held the water glass in her hands. She is contemplating her words that she said to Andrus. 

Is she too quick?

Is she careless?

Maybe she shouldn't have taken the decision hastily. 

She should have taken things slow.

"But you have not taken a single step forward in the past eight years. If you have taken you already might have been a mother to two or three children," Her mind voice retorted at her. 

This point made her think her decision is not slow. But again she couldn't help but feel that she took things in a fast-paced way. And worst was she proposed marriage to him and asked him to meet her parents. 

Gosh!

Is there any shameless woman like her in this world?

There may not be.

Chasina is still rethinking her decision. 

"Am I going too fast? Maybe We should slow down and take things to step by step," She mumbled to herself but at that time Andrus came down. He went near her, when he was about to call her he heard words. 

He felt a sense of panic!

He has to think of something. 

She is rethinking her decision. It's a crisis time. He came up with a plan.

He went back and called Ambrose.

The call connected.

"What is it, useless brat?�� Ambrose asked in an irritated voice. 

"Dad, I'm about to say a serious thing to you. Follow my instructions," Andrus said.

"Don't tell me, Sina is rethinking about her decision?" Ambrose asked. Well, he hit the nail!

"Dad, how do you know?!"Andrus asked in a worried voice. 

"I'm your father," he said. 

"What to do? I just wanted to say to her that we are meeting her parents today. She doesn't even know that we will meet her parents today," Andrus said. 

Well, he has to say his brain is not working at this moment. 

His only rescue is his oldie father. 

He has to use that oldie at least now. And that old man is more sly than him. He can cook more plans in this situation. 

"Sigh...… Why do I have a useless son?" Ambrose mumbled.

The driver who is driving the car chuckled at his words. Only this man has the guts to scold the President. 

"Dad! I'm the president of this country!" Andrus felt wronged when he was stamped with the word useless!

He is the President of the country For god sake! 

How can he call him useless!

Hmph!

He is not buying that okay!?

"Yeah, yeah, A good-for-nothing President who can't even handle his relationship. Always needs the help of his old father. Tsk Tsk Tsk what a pity," Ambrose said. 

Ambrose couldn't help but bicker with this guy all the time. 

He felt like he was blessed to fight with his son!

But no matter how much he fought he cared for him. 

"Dad, remember that I am your son!"Andrus growled. 

"That's why I agreed to go to in-laws' place to meet them. I wonder if they can accept you. How can you stay useless for eight years? You couldn't make the woman you loved to love you back. Sigh…. What a shame," Ambrose said as he continued to criticize.

Dad, Are you my dad?

Why do I have a feeling that my dad will ditch me at the crucial moment?

Sigh...… That old fox is cunning. One cannot understand his thoughts. Sigh....

"Just personally drop her at her house. I will directly head there. You take her home. And don't mess up the things, My Idiot son," Ambrose said.

"Dad, What made you think I will mess up the things?" Andrus couldn't help but ask.

He is the President of the country, okay!?

And he deserves some respect!

Everyone in the country respects him and admires him!

But this old man! Sigh...

He doesn't even consider him as a person!

Maybe he is debating his past life with Ambrose!

That is why he is getting tortured by him!

Even the President of the country has troubles.

Sensing Andrus's silence, Ambrose understood that his son is racking his brain about where he went wrong. 

Ambrose couldn't understand why his son acts so stupidly in the case of Chasina. In normal times he will agree that his son is the smartest. 

But why is he so stupid. 

Gosh! He is dumber than his younger self. 

"Tell me, What did you do to her when she confessed to you?" Ambrose asked. 

"She said 'I want you,'. So, I carried her in my arms to my bedroom. When I threw… I mean when I placed her in my bed and about to hover over her. She replied to me that she likes me too. She doesn't mean to imply that meaning and sh….." Before he could continue more Ambrose yelled at him.

"No wonder she is reconsidering her decision! You scared her like this! You have waited for so many years! Can't you wait for a few more days? You almost forced her! Do you know that! These kinds of things are very important to women! How can you scare her like this!

" Gosh! How did I end up having a son like you? Even a kid knows what to do when he gets into a relationship! If you couldn't control it! You should have kissed her! Not forcing her! Stupid son! Idiot son! You have a high IQ but zero EQ! I feel sad about my future grandchildren! Sigh… I hope they can get Chasina's EQ," Ambrose rambled on and on and on. His words made Andrus fall from a hill and die a horrible death.
