Chapter 189 - Rule 27

Ch-189

Chasina and Andrus left the canteen and headed towards the Assembly hall.

Today is Tuesday, on Thursday they will have to pledge their loyalty and will be taking their positions officially.

Meanwhile…..

Chasina felt weird as she walked. Everyone is gazing at them and whispering at each other.

Chasina frowned at him.

She pulled Andrus's hand and asked "What's wrong? Why is everyone looking at us weirdly?"

"You didn't check your phone or Twitter?" he asked as he raised his brows.

Chasina immediately fished her phone out and searched the trending topic. She saw that he made an announcement. She opened it and looked at his post.

In that post, A picture of Chasina is attached. In that, she is eating like a hamster. One has to say Andrus's photo-taking skills are rather...….. Worst.

Chasina looked like exactly a hamster. And the worst part is his words. He wrote "If I feed Chicken to my little Hamster, she will forget my existence too. But I have to spare this little Hamster my whole life (T_T)"

Chasina is stunned at the word 'Hamster'.

She remembered Henrieth calling her a Hamster.

"Andrus, don't call me Hamster again," She said seriously.

"I will! Miss. Hamster! Miss. Hamster!" Andrus started calling her but it made Chasina even angrier.

"Andrus! Stop it!" she said through her gritted teeth.

"I won't, Miss. Hamster!" Andrus said as he pinched her nose.

"Andrus! Stop it," Chasina said again.

"No!" he said and again he started calling her.

"Henrieth! Stop it! Dammit!" Chasina hissed out angrily.

But she spelled wrong. It's Andrus, not Henrieth.

Her tongue slipped a bit.

Her words Stunned Andrus not only him but also Chasina she is stunned more than him!

"Sorry! It's my slip! I asked you to stop it because Henrieth used to call me like that! I don't want him or his memories to be reminded!" Chasina said as she lowered her head like a pitiful child.

Andrus softened his gaze at her. He didn't find it strange when he heard Henrieth called her a Hamster. Because everyone in her circle calls her a hamster.

But he didn't expect that Henrieth is the one who gave that name to her. When he heard her words he felt sad but again when he heard she doesn't want to remember him he felt happy.

Andrus will be happy if she loved him ten percent of how much she loved Henrieth.

He doesn't want her whole heart but a part of it.

Andrus felt that he made a mistake. He shouldn't have teased her much. If not she would not have remembered him now. He can see the air around her turned cold. She is not angry but displeased.

He decided to stay silent. They reached the hall. They sat in their previous places. From Thursday they will sit according to their new positions after the oath session.

Chasina went to her previous ministry seat and sat there.

After that, the assembly discussion started. Everyone congratulated the newly appointed leaders. Some discussions about citizen welfare took place. The opposition started criticizing the ruling party saying that the President did nothing the past eight years now they are going to ruin the country.

The criticisms continued. Chasina felt a headache coming her way. It's been eight since she got used to it. But today is fierce. Chasina took a sip from her glass of water.

When she was gulping water, someone pointed at Andrus and shouted, "The young President is having an office affair in the white palace openly. How can we have a good ruler! I wish him to step down before the loyalty oath ceremony and give it to our party Leader Augustus Severance!"

Chasina almost spits out the water she drank.

With that leader's words, all the opposition parties started criticizing Andrus and Chasina.

After nearly having enough of the shit.

Chasina loudly slapped her table, gaining everyone's attention.

She dragged the mike near to her mouth.

"Woah! The leaders of the country are so enthusiastic about our personal life. I can say that the Citizens made a good decision by electing our party with this! As usual, citizens know the best!" Chasina said with a big fake smile capturing everyone's heart. Her words are sarcastic to the point that the opposition felt their jaws hurting due to clenching them.

But the ruling party tapped their desks in appreciation of her words.

Andrus lips curved at her sight who is taking part in the debate for the first of the day's discussion. And as usual, her words are slayer. She slew their tongues with a single sentence!

He felt proud of his woman!

Meanwhile,

Augustus narrowed his eyes at the woman who is speaking from her seat and slew his party people with a single sentence!

He curled his lips at her sight of arguing. Normally, she is known as a tongue slayer in the assembly. If she starts objecting, Even Andrus can't reply to her back. Sometimes, even he, Augustus cannot talk back to her immediately.

Augustus thought of something and curved his lips at her.

Meanwhile…

The one who is subdued by Chasina's words immediately got up and returned her jab with a sentence.

"Miss. Rosella seems to forget rule 27. No dirty affairs in Assembly time," the person from the opposing party said.

"Mr. Hollman might have forgotten rule 27. He cannot remember things properly. Rule 27 says no affairs or dating during Assembly hours." Chasina replied, making him speechless. After all, what she said is true.

"Respected Speaker, please give orders to the technical team and ask them to display rule 27 from the Assembly books of rules," Chasina made a request to the speaker.

Her words stunned everyone. Even the ruling party. They didn't expect her to remember this point.

But the other party is not willing to give up on this.

"What if Miss. Rosella said, ``Is that wrong?" Mr. Hollman asked.

"We will exchange our positions. You will be given as prime minister and I will take over your ministry for one month!" Chasina said.

Everyone from the ruling party opposed it.

"This can be done according to section 292 of our constitution!" Chasina declared.

At her words, everyone calmed down.

"But If I win you should not argue with any of the ruling party members for a month. What do you say, Mr. Hollman?" Chasina asked.
