Chapter 258 - Childhood Friends

Ch-258

Every time Augustus got pointed he used to overthink and deprived himself and his skills. And he felt he was looked down on. As time passed he realized that Andrus was the cause of his misery. He thought everything would end with his death. Those thoughts spiraled in his brain day and night making him a maniac. He realized that Andrus' death alone would not satisfy him, everything he owned should belong to him. When that happens, only then he could be happy. His power position, property, and the woman he loved. And the woman Andrus loved was also the one whom he lusted. That day when he saw her boldly declaring that the wedding would be turned into the body and the way she smiled made her look sexier and beautiful which made him lust over her. At that moment, he decided to kill Henrieth. So that he would never be able to return and claim her. But he didn't expect that Andrus would love her too.

He took away Henrieth from that place and locked him in Wolf Set base. Augustus never wanted to kill Henrieth. He wanted to give his woman to him willingly. If he couldn't he decided to kill him so that he would never be able to claim her back. Also, Augustus kidnapped Henrieth to know the security details and the blind spots of the Alvonia so that he could help the terrorists to make them enter the country without any difficulties. So, he tried many ways to make Henrieth speak but he failed.

But intervening with Andrus into Chasina's life he felt it was good too because he thought he could use that as his beverage and can use it to rage Henrieth to kill Andrus. For many years he didn't hate Andrus until a few years before he was released. When Augustus felt he was not faking the hatred he started giving information about Chasina and Andrus. He was released only when he gave them few details and the information. Henrieth also said that the security system would change every five years and he doesn't do those things. He could only know them by returning there. He suspected that he was trying to bluff. But after years he gained their trust. Only then he was released.

But Augustus was still deceived by Henrieth. In fact, Henrieth didn't hate Andrus. He hated himself. He realized how incompetent he was. If he was strong enough maybe he would have seen the colors of Augustus earlier. He was constantly threatened with Chasina's life. If not for her he wouldn't allow himself to be tied up like this. Time said to him that the more he resists the more hardship he would face. So, he stopped resisting. His only thought was going out and getting Chasina back into his life and claiming her. And as he asked Andrus was taking good care of Chasina and this dumb Augustus was thinking his protection was the love of Andrus.

But Henrieth's thoughts were reversed when he came outside. He realized the real fool was him. Andrus and Chasina were in true love. And he was the one who pulled Chasina from the black hole. But he tried to get her back in many ways only to be failed. He realized how unfair he was to Chasina.

But after seeing the relationship between her and Andrus he realized he was not worthy of her. Andrus could take care of her very well. With very much difficulty he let go of her. But when he saw Chasina coming out despite the dangers, he confirmed he had no chance of being with her.

He lost a gem due to his selfishness. If only he put on the ring that day on her, maybe things would have been different now.

So, he himself provided his testimony and the evidence that Augustus was the one who was behind the incidents and also the one who was behind his kidnapping along with the Wolf Set.

With the evidence of Andrus, Henrieth they were able to make quick decisions and release the statements in fifteen days.

"Thank you for your help, Mr. Laurence," Andrus thanked the president of Alabama.

"Ayya… keep those formalities aside Andrus. We helped each other. No need for formalities," Laurence said.

"The world would be shocked if they knew we are friends from our childhood. Haha," Andrus laughed.

"Yeah… but it's a good thing that we hid the fact. If not, chaos would have to ensue for sure." Laurance commented on the incident that happened.

"But it's been hard for us all these years. We have to talk sneakily like we are burglars and have to stage the non-existent hatred. You are really my trump card," Andrus said as he winked at him.

"Yeah… when uncle was dead. I really found it weird seeing Augustus's behavior. Sir. Brock didn't ask for investigation at that time, I would have brushed it off. But those results made me see things in a new way." Laurance said.

"Hmm… and if not for my woman's words I wouldn't have seen the real thing that Uncle Charles conveyed. That made it easy for us to go on." Andrus said.

"She was a real cop. And she is a surprise. I didn't expect her to be courageous. She didn't even care about herself or the child just to see you and defend you. And her… killing Augustus was damn cool. She was savage." Laurance said in an amused tone.

"My wife… hmm… she was like a treasure hunt to me. The deeper I dig, I feel there was more to her. I can lose anything in this life except her." Andrus said as he remembered his wife. He could remember her smiling face and her puffing cheeks when he refused to let her eat food.

"Man… land on the earth. Stop dreaming. You both married twice but still, you act like a stupid teenager at this age." Laurance teased.
