Chapter 266 - I Hate Them

Ch-266

"What shall we do, Senior?" Adiana asked.

"She is losing her consciousness," she added.

"Doing the episiotomy but it may be complicated in her case as she was losing a lot of blood and consciousness," the senior doctor said.

"Doctor! Please do something." Adiana and others asked.

"Get ready with the equipment!" The senior doctor said as she rolled her sleeves.

Meanwhile…

Outside…

The family members were about Chasina's condition. For the past four hours, she was inside. And suddenly a nurse came out running and took a bag of blood inside.

Andrus was worried when he saw the situation. He felt something was wrong. He learned that giving birth to triplets can be life-threatening. Andrus regretted letting her get pregnant. It might be too much for her because of this. He held his head as he shivered in fear.

"Stay safe," he muttered under his breath as he looked inside the ward. He wanted to cry but he held them back. He heard her painful screams. Andrus wished to take all her pain but he couldn't. For the first time in his life, he was scared. He prayed to God to keep Chasina safe. He would be fine even if the babies were not fine. Andrus only wants his wife to be safe and sound. It's all because of those smelly kids Chasina was facing the danger now. He will teach them a lesson when he sees them.

"Nothing will happen to her," Ambrose said to her.

"She is strong," he added as he patted his shoulder settling beside him.

"I know. But it doesn't mean I don't have to be concerned about her," Andrus responded.

"She will be fine," Ambrose said.

Ambrose didn't expect to see a big man like him be slumped down and feel like there was no hope.

Inside the ward….

The doctors made a minor surgical cut between her anus and vagina to let the baby out carefully. Since she already gave birth to two children, her vagina was very sensitive as it was expanded to the size of a fetus.

After that Chasina pushed the baby a bit. The baby head came out. The doctors carefully cut his blue umbilical cord and passed him to the other doctor to clean him. The baby cried louder than the other two children reminding them that he also came out. The other two who were silent all this while also started crying.

Chasina shed a tear of happiness. Her hard work finally paid off. She couldn't keep her consciousness anymore and dozed off.

Her face was red due to the intense work she did. Her hair was a mess and her clothes were unkempt. And she was dead tired. Adiana wiped her body carefully. She called people to change Chasina's bed without hurting her.

The children were cleaned and wrapped in towels and placed in their cradles. The doctors numbered them as one, two, and three.

After settling everything, the doctors called the family members inside the ward to check on the babies.

Andrus didn't go to see the children but to see Chasina. She scared him today. He could still hear her painful screams.

He ran his hand in her hair as he looked at her pale sleepy face. She is …. He doesn't have words to describe what he was feeling.

She was the most beautiful feeling who bore the most unbearable pain. She gave birth to three children and is lying to her now. He just hopes she will recover fast. And with her condition, who couldn't allow her to continue as prime minister. She should resign from that position. With these thoughts, he decided to talk to her about these things.

He sat beside her as he watched her sleep. He didn't even give a glance at his children as if he didn't care about them. Andrus realized only his wife can provide him warmth without her he would be nothing. He didn't realize that it had turned dark already. Andrus sat in the same position beside her straightly and he didn't even turn left or right. He felt guilty for making her go through all this stuff.

But he could do nothing now except for spoiling her and giving her more love than usual. He thanked her for getting three lives into his life and for making his family bigger. He thanked her for entering and giving him a home. But he also apologized to her for making her go through this intense pain.

Her painful screams, her whimpers, her hard work, and everything made him respect her even more. A woman can even face death just to give birth to her child. He smiled bitterly for not being able to share her pain and agony.

In the middle of the night, Chasina woke up and saw Andrus beside her looking at her.

"How are you?" he asked. She wanted to say something but her mouth was parched so she couldn't utter a single word.

"I will get water," he said, sensing her discomfort. She nodded at him when he said.

He brought the glass to her mouth as he let her drink with a straw.

"I am fine but tired," she said.

"How are our children?" she asked again.

"I didn't see them," Andrus said bluntly.

"Why?" she asked with confusion.

"I hate them!" he answered, scaring her.

"What? Why?" she asked in surprise in her raspy tone.

"They made you go through the difficulties," he said.

"LEt's see them," she said. If it's a normal time she would have fought with him and argued with him but now she has no energy. Who in the world would hate their children just because they made his wife go through intense pain. She smiled at the silly man who went to see their children.

"What are their genders?" she asked.

When she heard his reply she was shocked!

Dammit!

Author's Guide:

Episiotomy:  An episiotomy is a minor surgical cut in your perineum (the muscular area between your vagina and anus). These cuts are made right before a vaginal delivery to enlarge the opening for your baby's exit.
