After all the pleasantries and chit chat were over, then only did Grandpa and Mr. Raizada agreed to retire from her office. After bidding them farewell, Sofya slumped in her seat.

This really had been one hell of a day. She had expected for the proposal to be smooth, but everything except that had happened. Now he was going to attend the painting exhibition. She knew he had agreed to that just to riffle her up. But since Grandpa had invited him, she could do nothing.

" Miss Khemka, it's time for the meeting. " Her assistant Nancy announced.

Shaking her head, as if waking up from a deep slumber, Sofya put all the thoughts at the back of her head for now. She would deal with him later.

" Of course, let's go. " She walked past the door, Nancy trailing behind her.

Sofya Khemka, CEO of Empericorp Inc. was a well known face in the Fashion Designing industry. Not only was she beautiful, but also headstrong, goal oriented and hard working. She had joined the company at the age of 22, and since then the company had never once looked back. With continuous growth, power and accumulation of wealth over these years, it was then that she had been listed as one of the most influential persons of the world. The company had outgrown it's competitors in just a few span of years, and had become the bestest of the best.

It was also because of this that she had attracted a lot of unwanted enemies and conspirators, but she had her own ways and means to tackle them. Many of them even wanted her dead. They were unable to believe or rather digest the fact, that a woman was able to defeat them. For them, woman was just supposed to be garbage meant for only one thing.

It is in the human nature to want everything. Greed is something that cannot be controlled. One can only climb the ladder of success by pushing others down, be it a exam or in the corporate world, and that is what Sofya Khemka did.@@
