44 What do you see in her?

Recently, the company had been facing problem with regards to one of it's biggest projects.

The project was situated at one of the posh suburbs area of New York City. Being a budding area in the city, which would have great value in the given future, the company had purchased almost 30 hectares of land after spending billions.

Having consulted the civil department himself, Arnav had decided to construct a city on the land itself. It would include everything, from residential homes, offices, malls, parks, swimming pools to schools for the children of the family staying there. The name of the project was yet undecided as it was declared that the winning company would get that right too. Arnav had declared the civil department to prepare the tender carefully, as investment was too high and there was no room for any mistake.

That was almost a month ago. Since then five to six times, a rough draft of tender had been submitted for final approval, but there was mistake and loopholes every time.

Fed up of all this, Arnav had finally called a meeting. But hearing nothing new from their side after an hour of non stop discussion, his patience had finally died out. Unfortunately, he couldn't fire an entire department to begin with.

Seeing the faces in front of him, he couldn't help but feel his temper rise. They really incompetent. Saying nothing, he got up and made his way out of the conference room.

Reaching his cabin, he slumped on to his seat. Thinking hard, he buzzed the call button. George came in immediately.

" Get in Murat " he said, without looking up at him.

" Yes boss. "

If there was really a person who could help him do this, it was Murat. He was sure he wouldn't refuse. After all they were kind of like brothers. Gazing in the space, he thought about their old times, smiling a little.

Almost an hour had passed when the office door opened again. Expecting it to be George, he looked up. The visitor gave him a shock, it was Nina. Coming in, she sat on the seat directly in front of him, looking at him.

Arnav said nothing, waiting for her to speak. After a few minutes, when he didn't say anything, Nina broached the topic.

" What do you see in her? "

Arnav sighed. As he had expected, she just wouldn't let it go.

" That's not your concern. " he replied coldly, averting his eyes from her gaze.

" It is " Nina replied forcefully, her voice rising. Arnav raised his eyes at her tone. The day was just turning out to be horrible. Firstly, no progress in company projects because of which he was highly frustrated and now this. He really didn't have time to listen to her rant about Sofya all day.

Getting up, she walked towards him. Arnav turned around in his seat following her moves. Nearing him, she removed her trench coat.

Arnav's eyes widened. Inside she was wearing nothing but a skimpy dress so that she looked nothing less than a seductress. Daringly, she went and sat on Arnav's lap, gazing at him.

Immediately, he tightened his arm around her waist. Taking that as a yes sign, she began caressing his face with a single finger, grabbing his chin. Never in her dreams she would have thought this would be so easy.

The office door opened again. This time it was Sofya and Murat who waltzed in, laughing.
