Chapter 528 - Almost a Beauty

Tiger was startled.

Master barely doubted his own instincts.

Tiger scratched his head and said in a good-natured tone, “What about checking them out? They did not seem so close to each other before they went to the USA. But I feel that the Second Master is a bit different now.”

Having heard Tiger’s words, Jing Yichen chuckled suddenly.

“He died and came back. That is a life-altering situation. But he seems… to have changed a lot this time.”

Jing Yiran had put down his own self-respect for Lu. It was incredible.

Jing Yichen believed what Jing Yiran said, that he did come back for Lu’s sake. He had already noticed that Lu was treating Jing Yiran a bit differently, but had not expected that Jing Yiran would react to her behavior.

It seemed that something major happened in the past one month.

That was good. Otherwise, he truly was hesitant about trusting Jing Yiran.

“He needs money, doesn’t he? Give him 500,000 yuan for the time being and give more when he gets closer to finding Yang Muyan. Send two men to track their movements. Let everyone else focus upon the person behind Tang Yun.”

Jing Yichen continued speaking, “Don’t sell Jing Yiran’s old villa. Give it to Lu and him. Living at the hotel can cause problems.”

Tiger thought inside his heart – didn’t you want something to happen to the Second Master? Didn’t you keep making sure that he was hurt, and harmed?

But he dared not say it out loud.

Jing Yichen left the study after he finished giving instructions. It was already 3 in the morning.

He tiptoed into the baby’s room and smiled when he saw his son sleeping snugly.

He lowered his head and kissed his son’s serene face before walking out.

Jing Yichen went back to the bedroom, and changed into the navy PJs which Shangguan Ning had bought for him. On the bed, he extended his arm and took Shangguan Ning into his embrace.

Shangguan Ning opened her eyes and asked drowsily, “Did you go out again? What happened? I wanted to hug you but you were missing.”

Jing Yichen kissed her forehead with a smile. “Nothing to worry. Just some good news! I am not going out anymore and am available for your hug.”

Shangguan Ning realised that he sounded happy. Putting her arms around his waist, she leaned her head against his chest and fell asleep.

The next morning, Shangguan Ning woke up and found Jing Yichen lying next to her. She let out a smile.

Seeing his well formed chest, she could not help but take a bite at Jing Yichen’s nipples.

Jing Yichen was woken up by her biting and let out a small hiss.

He spanked his wife’s butt as a punishment and warned her in a sexy, hoarse voice. “Stop being naughty!”

“Whom did you meet last night? You couldn’t wait three months for me?”

Jing Yichen let out a laugh and tweaked Shangguan Ning’s nose with his fingers. “Nonsense! I did not touch any women before I met you. How could I have turned more hungry after I met you?”

Hungry? Honestly, Master Jing, could you be a bit less indecent?

“But I did meet a woman last night. She can be considered almost a beauty.”

Almost a beauty? What was that?

Shangguan Ning was totally awake now and said, “Spill it! Who was it?”

“Jing Yiran.”

Shangguan Ning’s eyes widened. “What? Isn’t he dead?” She was too surprised to respond to Jing Yiran being almost a beauty.

Jing Yichen shook his head slightly. “I didn’t know about it until a while ago. It seems that he was lucky to survive despite a bullet in his head.”

Shangguan Ning was surprised when she realized what he meant. “Then why is it a good thing?”

“He kneeled down in front of me, isn’t that good? At least, now I have the absolute right to control his life and he will never dare to do anything bad again.”

Shangguan Ning felt that the Sun had risen from the west.

What exactly happened last night when she was sleeping?

Shangguan Ning might accept the news that Jing Yiran cheated death, but his bending down in front of Jing Yichen was something that she could not believe.

Honestly, Jing Yiran would not bow down to Jing Yichen even if it meant his death. Otherwise he would not have been beaten by Jing Yichen so many times.

If the brothers had been on peaceful terms with each other, then there would not have been any trouble during these years.

They were each other’s worst enemies and that was something that could not change overnight.

Even if Jing Yiran started a second life, he would still come to Jing Yichen to take revenge. But now his personality had also changed?

Shangguan Ning could not believe that. She frowned. “Could that be his plan? Is he lying to you?”

“He is not smart enough for that. Don’t worry, I am more capable than him. I can tell if he is bowing down for real or not. I can put another bullet into him if he is up to mischief. He would not be able to dodge it twice.”

He sounded so conceited that people who did not know him might find him self-obsessive.

But Shangguan Ning trusted him completely and admired him to a great degree. She did not laugh at him and nodded seriously. “Okay. I am assured when you say that.”

Jing Yichen “….”

It seemed that his wife had turned a bit dumb after she gave birth to the baby. She even agreed with him when he had bragged so blatantly. Honestly, she was indeed special.

He thought for a moment and then told Shangguan Ning about Jing Yiran and Lu’s relationship.

She had never noticed Lu having any special feeling for Jing Yiran, nor the other way around, either!
