There were increasingly more people in the underground mall and Lu could tell each one apart clearly.
When they were not paying attention, she suddenly dashed out and followed one of them to the entrance and walked in without uttering a sound.
Tang Shunian naturally had no idea that Lu could see things clearly in complete darkness, so he turned off all the lights in the underground passages and left only one small lamp on after every few meters.
It was impossible to see Lu when she was dressed in complete black.
Lu was not worried that someone would discover her. All she cared about was that there may be cameras down in the passage that could expose her.
Someone who tried to approach her was killed by her easily and she did it soundlessly.
She changed into the dead man’s clothes, and modified her look with a small kit which she had brought with her so she looked more tanned than usual and then she put on a short wig.
After she changed the clothes, she increased her stride.
Lu found that there was no one who recognized her in the passage. Some even nodded at her and some ignored her.
It seemed that Tang Shunian’s men were not getting on well with each other and did not recognize each other well enough. They must be new employees rather than Tang Shunian’s trusted men.
The underground passages here were not as complicated as those in the underground kingdom where Tang Shunian trapped Jing Yichen, but the passages looked really deep.
Lu walked for more than an hour before she understood the entire passage.
However, on both sides of each passage, there were endless cellars and each of them looked exactly the same.
There was someone coming out of the cellar and after a pause, Lu went deeper in.
These cellars on the relatively shallow layers were the bedrooms of ordinary men, and only the deeper ones would lead to Tang Shunian.
The deeper she went, the more people there were and all of them looked alert and difficult to approach.
Lu turned back without hesitation and left after tossing a small bomb.
A few seconds later, a loud sound arose in the underground world and stones started falling from all places.
After the trembling stopped, many people came there to check things.
Lu entered the deeper passage smoothly and then opened the door of a cellar, randomly.
It was narrow inside, empty except for some compressed cookies, water and food.
There were not many cellars in the deeper layer and Lu opened one after another to check them. It was the dumbest yet the only method, otherwise it was impossible to tell which room Tang Shunian was in, when every door looked exactly the same.
It did not take long for Lu to find something weird.
In one of the cellars, there were all kinds of plugs of cables and half of the cables were buried underground.
Lu pulled out a sharp blade from her boot and then started to dig out the concrete floor alongside the cable.
There may have been other easier ways but she would end up spending too long to find another entrance so she decided to start from this place.
Only a strong person like Lu was able to dig out solid concrete, which broke like tofu in her hands. She was not a human, at least in some aspects.
These cables would not be too deep, and maybe they were just beneath the cellar.
Lu was digging the floor when a cellar opened and a man came there. Before the man managed to shoot, he had already dropped dead because of a bullet that went between his eyebrows.
Finishing that person, Lu continued with the digging.
Half an hour later, the floor was broken through.
Yet the moment the floor was dug through, alarm rang in the entire underground passage.
Tang Shunian, who was looking at the camera, suddenly got startled and then looked quickly up at the ceiling.
A black muzzle was aiming at his head through a fist-sized hole.
The alarm did not distract Lu who did not seem to hear a thing. She was solely focused upon Tang Shunian.
Tang Shunian looked quite ridiculous at the moment.
He was dressed in a thick bullet-proof coat and even had a bullet-proof helmet on him. He looked like a clumsy bear. He seemed to have difficulty in looking up because his face had turned red.
“Angel!” Tang Shunian looked at the white hand that was holding the gun, and he could tell that the world number two killer was here for him!
But Tang Shunian soon realized that he was well equipped, so he laughed, “Angel, kill me, shoot me now!”
He had been fully prepared. No bullet would be able to go through his bullet-proof coat!
The alarm was still ringing. Tang Shunian had installed an alarm in his room. As long as someone touched the wall, the alarm would be triggered.
His room was not solid enough, but anyone who tried to enter the room would trigger the alarm and he could react quickly to the situation.
Lu had one hand aiming a pistol at Tang Shunian and with the other, she kept shooting the people who kept coming to the room, trying to kill her.
After she finished the bullets on her right hand, she started with the left. The noise kept rising and Lu brought out a small sized bomb and tossed it down at Tang Shunian through the fist-sized hole.
Lu ran out of the cellar as she kept shooting along the way.
Two seconds later, the bomb burst, and the place where Lu had been, collapsed!
The maze like passages had actually given Lu an opportunity to run away.
She had remembered all the paths and hence made the plan of running away.
She had one last bomb with her, which might keep her safe in crucial moments.
