(Jane's PoV)

Listening to his mockery, I could only smile helplessly. These people were obviously the ones who thought younger generation knew nothing about the world and that we had no use towards several big problems occurred in the universe.

I really had no heart to scold them back at this moment because of how ridiculous they sounded and looked in my eyes.

After all, they were all older than me. As the youngest person here, I should be magnanimous and let them lead, right?

"Your smile looks evil, you know. If you want to clean your hands from these stupid people, you better not let anyone see your evil smirk." Siji whispered in my ears.

He really caught me!

Since arguing with these people was useless, I wouldn't waste my time to do so. Just let them bark! Soon they would see how stupid they were.

After all, I had never said that I would do what they had decided to do. I would walk on my own.

As arrogant as I sounded, I really had no intention to kill myself to do their lousy plan. Since I felt familiar with the words Death Volcano, I would find out about it myself and solve it quickly.

Seeing that I didn't answer their questions, they might have thought that I had reflected on my mistakes and chosen to be submissive towards them. Their victorious gazes were clear and I bit my inner lip to prevent myself from chuckling out loud.

As they returned to their heated discussion, my mind worked harder to think about anything related to Death Volcano. Did I hear it somewhere? Should I ask Tom and Sanji? They might be the ones who told me about Death Volcano since I talked practically to no one other than the both of them the most.

"First Master seems to have something in her mind. She looked distracted the whole time and didn't pay attention to the discussion. I wonder if she may have another idea about this matter?"

As the discussion came to an end, I heard a calm voice filled with disdain was aimed at me. I looked up and met a pair of familiar eyes. Those eyes filled with slight fear, boosting courage and mockery, totally different with the way those eyes looked at me at that day.

It seemed like someone had gained tons of courage to confront me after I beat him up that day.

I snorted as I kept my eyes on him. I really admired his guts to pick a fight with me. Did he think, after he had claimed his right as the master, he could easily subdue me?

Not a chance, boy.

I might be younger than you, but I was sure you couldn't defeat me even if you trained yourself for a hundred years!

"You're thinking too highly of me." I smiled. "Second Master seems to be looking well, that he still has time to worry about me." I purposely dragged the words 'looking well' to remind him that I still could beat him up if I wanted to.

I tried to ignore it, but he really didn't do much in the discussion either. Other than staring at me with obvious scheming in his mind, he rarely made any sounds towards the heated discussion.

The way he targeted at me looked like a pity young boy trying to find trouble with the a.d.u.l.ts in my eyes.

After all, the disparity between our power was obvious yet he would seek death his so quickly.

Was he a masochist? Did he really want me to humiliate him in public? Maybe he wasn't too satisfied with how desolate the place I beat him up the last time so he wanted to feel it the second time but in public?

What a weird wish!

"Milady, whatever you have inside your mind, you'd better not speak it out loud." Siji said using the link between us.

My lips twitched as I glared at him. "What do I have in mind?"

"I can't be sure, but it must be related to that young man's provocation. Maybe something about his odd wish? Ah, I get it. Considering how weird your way of thinking, you must be thinking that he is a... how do you say it again? The person who loves to be tortured, I mean."

I nearly choked on my saliva when I heard him say that. How did he know it? Since when did he know me this well?

"Seeing your surprise expression, I must have guessed it right." The victorious smirk on his face looked exceptionally annoying that I had the urge to slap him.

Because I had been too busy talking to Siji, I accidentally missed what Rasha said to me. When I realized it, his face had darkened to the point he looked like he wanted to rip me into pieces.

I coughed lightly in my hand. "Sorry, I was distracted."

The others had the same expression as his as they heard my excuses. But, out of them all, only Rasha's Adviser shot me an apologetic gaze with helpless expression on his face and San grinned excitedly for whatever reason she found amusing.

"First Master, what the Second Master said is true. You looked distracted the whole time. Even though I found it understandable for a young woman to not understand what we were talking about, but your manner in underestimating things is really too rude and unsuitable for a Master. You can't be too ignorant because you're still young. After all, a responsibility of a Master is so big that I'm afraid you can't bear it." Fifth Master frowned disdainfully as he reprimanded me in righteous way.

"Fifth Master, you can't really blame her. After all, she is new. She might not be able to control her army well yet. Because we all put our armies out there the guard the area, she must feel exhausted by now." Another one chimed in.

"That must be it! That's why she was distracted the whole time. No wonder!"

The others nodded their heads as the way they looked at me changed from disdain to mocking. Still, I was still smiling.

"Talking about new, isn't Second Master a new appointed Master as well?" I looked at Rasha who squinted his eyes in warning. "Seeing that he is fine, why wouldn't I be fine too?"

Rasha's expression turned uglier as I reminded him of his ignorance. The others' expression changed as well as their heads turned to look at Rasha with different light.

I shook my head. I suddenly felt that the future of the world was in danger in the hands of these people. How could they neglect this fact?

"She is right. I've met the Master of Cloud Army, but this young man here is not him." The Sixth Master pondered as he looked at Rasha carefully.

He must have met Rasha's uncle, that good for nothing uncle who planned to steal the position as the Master.

"I'm the real Master of Cloud Army. He is my proof!" Rasha growled angrily as he pointed at his Adviser behind his back.

Since only the Advisers knew each other, each of them looked at their own Advisers, seeking confirmation from them. Only after they nodded consequently that the Masters looked back at Rasha.

"Ah, Cloud Army is really as confusing as ever. Only Cloud Army has fake Adviser to accompany the temporary Master. Even though the fake Adviser looked so similar to the real one, the fake one still looked too stiff. I thought that he was just as aloof as a rock. I didn't think that he would be a fake one." Sixth Master shook his head.

The Second Adviser had an awkward look on his face. I could totally understand what he felt. It wasn't his fault that the fake one met these people before him. Since his loyalty was only for the real Master, there was no way he would accompany the fake Master.

How could he know there was that kind of rule in Cloud Army?

If he had known before, he would have refused to be the Adviser of Cloud Army.

This piece of information was not told during their training for years. Because of it, he thought that the rules in Cloud Army was very much the same with the ones in other armies.

I could read his thought and totally understand his misery.

Rasha looked at me in displeasure as the topic has shifted to him. I smirked at him, taunting him to do better the next time he wanted to scheme against me.

"When did you assume your position?" Fifth Master asked Rasha curiously.

"Not more than two weeks ago." He said in a low tone.

Gasps of surprise filled the room as they looked at him bewildered. Not two weeks ago but he could stand the pressure of exerting so much spiritual power?

If this young man could withstand it, there was no way this young woman couldn't do it.

I was sure that was what they were thinking about as I saw their eyes shifted towards me.

However, little did they know, the young man was at his limit. Thin layer of sweat was starting to form in his forehead. His eyebrows were twitching slightly every thirty seconds. It was just a matter of time until he collapsed.

By the way, did he have a General?

"Judging from the length of time he endured it, he has a General, but since he is still new, his spiritual power is not as controlled as yours. Well, you are the abnormal one here, you know?" Siji answered that question through our link.

"Thank you for your compliment." I smirked.

"I almost forgot to tell you the main point of having this meeting." Siji said in serious tone.

"I know." I might not know it before, but I was definitely not blind or stupid. "Endurance."

Exerting much spiritual power to keep the men from the army while engaging one's self in discussion was indeed a hard task to do. As time kept ticking, the pressure should be getting heavier and heavier. But, did they seriously want to compete in this area with me?
