224 Little witch

Abhi looked at his brother with a cold stare and asked in a domineering way "Where were you for the last two days and what were you doing ?".

Rahul was shocked and his face became pale. He looked at the little girl who was making all funny signs at him. Shriya pulled the little girl down and warned her to behave in front of elders.

Rahul said "I was busy with work, so I went out".

Before Abhi could say anything, Shriya said "Let's have our dinner first". Abhi looked at her and his look immediately became gentle. He said to his brother "We will talk later about it".

Naveen saw Rahul at his door step and he saw how tensed he was. They stayed in his house for a while and chatted with each other. Then exactly at 7 pm they came back home. Abhi didn't say much after that. He straight went to the dining table. The table was filled with delicious foods. There were all kinds of yummy and delicious dishes.

Naveen saw the little girl who came running out from one of the bedrooms. She ran upto him and held his leg. He looked at her dotingly and picked her up in his arms.

Preeti is a ten year no almost eleven old and she is tall enough for her age. It is not so easy for a normal person to pick her up in their arms. But these were all perfectly built not so heavy nor weak. They could all legit with utmost ease.

Everyone looked at them and were smiling happily. Rahul muttered to himself in a low voice being afraid that his brother might hear him. "This little witch is so smart that she could spell her charm on everyone around her. Everyone lives her so much". He sighed deeply.

Then he heard a sound behind him saying "You are the first on that list". Rahul was caught off guard and was shocked. He saw Vamshi standing beside him with a smile on his face.

Preeti was so excited when she saw the food. She always ate what she wanted at the Mansion. Though chef at the Mansion always cooked her favourite food, she couldn't enjoy it to full content because most of the time she ate alone or with Rahul.

Abhi also ordered some fruit, desserts and ice cream for the little girl. Her eyes lit yo seeing all the food. Naveen placed her carefully on the chair and sat next to her at the table. It's just a small six seater dining table and they perfectly fit in their each sitting next to each other.

Preeti sat in between Abhi and Naveen. Rahul sat next to his sister in law and they all enjoyed fodd. Both Abhi and Naveen placed diid in Preeti's plate.

While eating Preeti said "My dear prince," Abhi placed some more dessert in her bowl and said 'hmm' looking at her. She said "I think Chote Chetan is worried about something these days, that he don't go to office anymore, don't take care of my studies, he appointed a nanny for me and he barely speaks with me".

Her eyes were moist and Shriya didn't stop her sister this time as she what was saying was true. Everyone could see tears in her eyes and they have become moist.

Hearing it Vamshi couldn't help but say with pride "my cutie pie has also become so big now". He was proud of her. But he didn't see the change in Abhi's stare which gas became so cold.

Rahul tried to explain himself infront of his brother but he couldn't do so. He felt shivers in his backbone seeing his brother's killer gaze.
