Chapter 483 - Becoming famous 2

Shriya and her friends were so nervous but tried their best not to show it. Abhi could feel their nervousness especially Shriya and Sony's shaking legs and he tried hard to calm them down with his eyes but couldn't as they didn't look at him.

A reporter asked "So, did they go through audition. We haven't heard of any such audition ?"

Raj looked at Abhi but said after a moment "Actually I know Shriya before from a friend and then in a birthday party I heard they had that hobby and saw their sketches."

A reporter asked "So there's no audition. Cam we say this as a discrimination ?" and Raj shook his head saying "No, I just asked them to try and the pictures came out well. So it kind of worked out. The collaborationwas nothing planned beforehand."

Another reporter asked "Is that friend your you said earlier Garima Sharma ?" and Raj shook his head and said with a smile "No, she isn't. There's another friend."

Sunil Chakrabarti said "Okay, that's it for the day." And he said "And also we will inform you if there are any more updates. Thank you".

Shriya and her friends also thanked everyone. Abhi and Raj shook hands with ladies and the reporters took pictures.

Garima also joined them for pictures and after a few minutes they went back to work. Shriya and her friends went to her apartment to rest.

Everything went smooth for next few days. Shriya went to meet Gouthami and Manvi and and they had a good time after so many days.

That very next day Abhi's mother Satonshi came to India. Abhi and Rahul went to receive her and as soon as she saw her sons she said to Abhi with sarcasm "I thought you wouldn't come. You are alwaysbusy, afterall you won't pick up my calls or talk to me".

He hugged her and said "Mom you are more important than work." Rahul said "Mom, I am also here".

She glared at her younger son and said "You came here on a vacation but got settled down here and even got married."

Rahul scratched his head and said "That kind of happened. Well....sorry".

She nodded "Let's go home. I want to see my daughter in law.".

They all walked to the car and after a hour of car journey they reached Shanti Bhavan. When theye reached there they saw Gouthami and Manvi waiting for her at home.

She hugged them both and asked about their health. Uncle Ram greeted her and served her some freshly made juice. He took the luggage to her room.

Abhi asked his mother to take rest as she had a full day journey. She nodded her head and went to take rest.

She saw that everything at home was good and organized. Earlier when she visited home it didn't give that warm feeling like now. Something changed at this house but couldn't pin point that change but she liked that change.

She ignored it and went to sleep. Yash and Rahul went back to office. Abhi and Uday went back to Uday's apartment to get Manvi's clothing and stuff.

That's because Satoshi want Manvi to stay at Shanti bhavan. She wanted to take care of them both. Manvi didn't agree to go to her maternal house for her delivery.

Shriya and her friends were busy making preparations for Brahmini's wedding. There's only twenty days till the day of wedding.

That night Abhi didn't go to Shanti bhavaan for dinner. His mother called and yelled at him. Shriya felt bad and asked him to join his family for meals.

That night Shriya didn't sleep much and kept thinking. The next morning Abhi took Shriya and Preeti to Shanti Bhavan for Breakfast.

Shriya tried to stop him from doing that but he was stubborn. She dressed up in a lemon yellow chudidhar and looked simple but decent.

She was nervous but she tried to remain calm. Preeti was calm and collected but remained silent not in her usual playful mode.

Abhi didn't give his family head's up about this and it is a surprise for Santoshi.
