38 Chunin exams?!!

As team 7 with team 10 were moving towards the leaf Sasuke had a very bad expression as he was thinking (How…how did Tan know the top secret jutsu of the Uchiha and why am I so weak I am even weaker then Naruto and Tan is way out of my league so I first need to surpass Naruto) Sasuke made his resolution as he clenched his fist hard.

With this they reached the gates of the village and when they entered they were greeted by the guards and they all went straight to the Hokage office. Hiruzen was going is paper work when he heard a knock on the door. "Come in" he instructed and the door opened to reveal Asuma and Kakashi with their respective teams.

"So was the mission a success?" Hiruzen inquired. "Yes lord hokage" Asuma said.

"Ok now all of you expect Kakashi and Asuma may go and collect your reward" third instructed.

"Everyone from team 10 and team 7 go to the Barbe-Q and get whatever you want it's on me today" Asuma said as everyone cheered up and headed straight towards the Barbe-Q.

"Ok now tell me everything" Hiruzen said and Asuma and Kakashi gave him all the details and left the place and headed towards the Barbe-Q.

As they left after 5 minutes a man with a stick in his hand and bandages of his right eye and his one hand was a kind of hidden enters the hokage office Hiruzen look up to see who it is and recognizes his old friend. "What is it Danzo" he says "It is about Saito Tan" Danzo says and suddenly third stops writing and with a dead serious face says "What about him??"

"Well I want you to give him to me so that he can join the root" Danzo said.

"No way in hell I would let you have Tan!!!" Hiruzen argued.

"He deserves it Hiruzen" Danzo said.

"Still no and now you may leave" Hiruzen said this and Danzo got angry as he clenched his fist but calmed himself and walked out.

(That Danzo!!!) Hiruzen cursed in his mind.

In the Barbe-Q everyone was having fun especially Ino who was sitting with Tan and for the first time Tan was talking to her with interest. (Wow I didn't knew that Ino looked so beautiful) Tan said as he was watching Ino carefully.

(Oh my god Tan is watching me with so interest) Ino thought as she blushed.

After all these they all went to their respective homes and for two or three weeks they all did some simple missions and one day after the mission Kakashi called them.

"What is it sensei??" Sakura inquired.

"Yes I wanted to tell you that our village is hosting the chunin exams so here are your applications fill them and bring them to the academy after 3 days and also this is not compulsory for the whole team so you can decide" Kakashi said and gave them the applications and left using the body flicker technique.

"Well are you going to participate?" Tan asked all of them.

"Of course" Naruto said.

"Yeah me too" Sasuke said.

"And I am going in too" Sakura said.

"Ok then time for me to go" Tan said as he disappeared from the spot.

"I will go too" Naruto said as he activated his chakra cloak and went in the blink of an eye.

"I am also going" Sasuke said as flickered from the spot leaving Sakura behind who also used chakra to run from the spot.

After moving a small distance Naruto deactivated his chakra cloak and started walking normally again. He noticed that a box was following him with every step he took. (Isn't it too obvious?) Naruto thought in his mind.

"Konohamaru it's too obvious" Naruto said as the box exploded into different colors.*cough * cough *

"We used too much gunpowder" Konohamaru said while coughing. "As expected of my rival" he said while showing thumbs up.

"Konohamaru I am a little too busy to play right now because I have to train for the chunin exams, ya know" Naruto said as he clenched his fist in excitement.

"Oh, I see" Konohamaru said in disappointment.

"Hey now don't be sad" Naruto tried to cheer him up.

"No I am ok I understand" Konohamaru said as started running while looking backwards and waving his hand.

*bump *

Konohamaru bumped into a weird looking guy who was with a girl and had something on his back. The guy picked him up with his collar and said "Watch out you brat"

"Put him down" Naruto said as he appeared in front of him.

"What if I don't" he said as he started to squeeze Konohamaru's throat. "Aghhhh" he said in pain.

"Leave him or I will kill you" Naruto whispered in his ear as he quickly got behind him and powered a rasengan in his right hand. Kankaru gulped in fear and let go who Konohamaru. "You what is your name" a weird looking person with no eye brows who was sitting on a tree branch said. "Well you are the one to ask so first tell me yours" Naruto said as he picked Konohamaru up to his feet.

Suddenly who turned to sand and well on the floor and turned back to human form and said "I am Gaara of the sand" "And I am Uzumaki Naruto of the leaf" Naruto said with proud. (Wow big brother Naruto looks so cool) Konohamaru thought.

"Understood" Gaara said and starting moving with those two following him~
