"That's a joke, right?" Adrianna asked as she stared at the younger man. "I mean, do you know who Lucius Ting is?"

"I know who he is and I know how he sounds." Jonathas said.

"Then you know that he is our bitter rival, he is claiming to be someone that he is not." Miguel said in a stern tone as he looked Jonathan in the eyes.

"I do, well at least I know that you guys don't get along. I know that he has been moving against the Reyes Group for months now. It's all over the news." Jonathan said with a nod.

"Did you get to speak to him? Did he confirm that he was indeed married to your sister?" Cedric asked Jonathan.

"He did. There were things he knew that only my sister could have told him." Jonathan explained. "He said he had proof that he is still my brother in law."

"Does he know about your sister and about Dominic?" Ian asked.

"I told him that my sister was in danger because of him." Jonathan explained.

"And what did he have to say?" Cedric asked.

"He sounded worried, as if he cared. Then I accused him of not loving her enough since he was with someone." As Jonathan said this he glanced at Camilla, who was sitting next to Guan Ming with his arms wrapped around her.

"I know what you are thinking, don't you dare." Guan Ming said as he glared at Jonathan.

"Ming!" Camilla scolded.

"We both know why he was looking at you." Ming said. "It's Cedric's fault."

"No, it was my choice. It was the only way we could get close enough to Lucius Ting and you know it." Camilla told Guan Ming.

"I still think you guys should have chosen a different route." Guan Ming said as he rolled his eyes at Camilla.

"Don't you dare give me that attitude, Ming." She dared him.

"Fine, fine." Guan Ming said in surrender.

"I only dated him to help Cedric, I don't give a rat's ass about him." Camilla told Jonathan, catching the young man by surprise.

"Go on, Jonathan," Cedirc said in a much calmer tone.

"He asked if we could meet so that he could prove that he was still married to my sister and he just wanted to be part of their lives." Jonathan explained. "But I don't trust him, I don't trust him one bit."

"Wait, Miguel, if Lucius Ting is the father of Dominic, then that means he is in fact a Chan." Cedric said as he looked at his friend.

"Yes." Miguel said with a frown. "We need to know who's child he is."

"What else did you talk about with Lucius?" Cedric asked Jonathan as he returned his attention to the younger man.

"Well he asked about his son, Dominic." Jonathan told Cedric.

"Did you tell him that Julia gave him away and that as far as she knew he was dead?" Cedric asked.

"No. I just told him that if he wanted to know about his son or to see his son he would need to talk to my sister." Jonathan explained.

Cedric nodded as a plan began to form in his head.

"Our priority should be to get Julia out of the clutches of the Esteves family." Cedric told everyone in the room. "The only way we can do that is if Lucius Ting knows that she was taken."

"I can tell him." Jonathan bravely volunteered.

"No need." Cedric said as he shook his head. "I don't want you to get into any trouble. I'll pass on the message to the Esteves family and Adrianna can tell your sister that we found her husband and her key out of her prison."

"He will know that I gave you this information." Jonathan pointed out. "Let me tell him, hopefully he will go and try to save my sister."

"Are you forgetting that this is the same man your sister ran away from?" Adrianna asked.

"He says he loves her." Jonathan insisted.

"He is a man full of lies. Do not believe him." Camilla warned. "His secrets have secrets, and that sister of his is dangerous."

"He has a sister?" Jonathan asked.

"Yes, she works in secret and she is just as bad as he is." Cedric said with a nod.

"Do you think his sister could have something to do with why Julia ran away from him?" Ian asked Cedric as he thought of the stories and accusations he had heard about Louise Ting.

"She never mentioned her husband having a sister." Adrianna said as she tried to recall her conversation with Julia.

"Adri, do you think I could speak to my sister next time you guys talk?" Jonathan asked Adrianna.

"Of course. You can even ask her all of these questions and tell her about Lucius Ting." Adrianna told Jonathan.

"I just hope she won't get mad." Jonathan said with a frown. "I did the one thing he kept telling me not to do. Even when we thought Dominic had died she didn't want me to contact him for her. She loved him and feared him at the same time."

"He cannot know about Dominic." Miguel said as he looked at Jonathan, Adrianna, and Cedric. "If he finds out that my son is his flesh and blood he will go after the poor boy."

"We won't tell him." Cedric promised.

"My nephew deserves to have the best of everything. He shouldn't suffer anymore." Jonathan said with a nod. "To everyone he will be dead."

"Even to your sister?" Miguel asked.

"If that's what it takes to protect him, yes. I will tell my sister that her son is truly dead." Jonathan said with a determined tone.

"Thank you." Veronica said with a smile. "I don't know what I would do if he was taken from us. We promise we will love him. But if your sister can promise to give him a good life then we will let him choose. We don't want to deprive him of another loving family."

"Lucius Ting's involvement in Dominic's life changes things." Miguel said as he slowly considered their choices when it came to Dominic.

"As long as it's in my nephew's best interest. I will support it.." Jonathan promised.
