Chapter 68

At Bamboo Room, Ray dropped the call and grinned.

"What is it this time?" A slightly annoyed Alexi asked.

"Someone is pretending to know again and he's claiming that the set I gave Cedric and Adrianna is fake." Ray said with a dark smile.

"Ooooh fun! Too bad the girls aren't here." Nicole said.

"He's with Cedric now?" Ram who was calmly sipping wine asked.

"Yeah. We'll get the full story from Cedric later, I'm sure. They are coming here for dinner." Ray said.

When Cedric arrived with Adrianna and their guests Cedric could clearly see that his friends were seated at the most expensive table in the room. It was considered the most expensive table because to get a reservation for that table you would need to reserve months in advance and there was a minimum order required. That table had the best view of the city from the Bamboo Room. When Ray had found out that Cedric was going there as well, he made sure to put Cedric and his group on the table next to theirs.

When Cedric approached Ray stood up and waved at him. The Hernandez family already knew that Cedric was acquaintances with Raymund Laurence and was not surprised, the Lobo family however did not expect Cedric to know the owner of the Bamboo Room. As a matter of fact they had just been boasting on how Tony Tamano knew Raymund Laurence.

"Mr. Tamano, won't you be saying hi to Mr. Laurence! He's right there." Adrianna's Aunt Patricia nudged.

"Ah, yes, my good friend Ray. I just don't want to bother him. He's having dinner with the four princes." Tony Tamano said in what looked to Cedric as a way for him to avoid going up to Ray.

"Mr. Tamano, the other princes aren't that bad." Cedric said trying to egg Tony into speaking with them.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt to make new friends." Tony replied, scratching his head.

Tony went up and approached Raymund Laurence.

"Mr. Laurence, it's me Tony Tamano, we do business for Lau Jewelry. I provided the gold and stones for the North Star collection." Tony said as he approached the table.

"Hey, can't you see we're eating?" Nicole, who was seated between Ray and Miguel said.

"Miss I'm sorry. Are you Mr. Laurence's girlfriend?" Tony Tamano asked.

Nicole and the others burst out laughing when Tony Tamano asked if Nicole was Ray's girlfriend.

"I think my personal life isn't important to you Mr. Tamano. If you would like to talk about business please, set an appointment with my assistant. If you are here to chit chat, you should know, I don't do chit chat." Ray said quite coldly, an opposite to how his friends were laughing just now.

"Ray, I've lost my appetite because of this man. Let's go." Nicole complained.

Ray nodded and stood up. The whole group followed him and left.

Tony Tamano was left dumbfounded. He didn't even know who that girl was and one word from her already managed to make all four princes leave. Luckily no one from the Lobo or Hernandez family overheard the conversation and his pride was still in place.

"What did Mr. Laurence say?" Adrianna's Uncle Ivan asked.

"Ah Ray said to enjoy our meal. We just did a little chit chat. He had to go cause that girl with them was acting a little bitchy." Tony lied.

"Nicole was acting bitchy?" Ardianna asked.

"You know her Miss Adrianna?" Tony was surprised that Adrianna knew the woman with the four princes.

"Yeah. That's Nicole Chan. I've met her a couple of times and I have a partnership with their hospital. Oh and the other guy next to her is her older brother, Miguel Chan." Adrianna explained.

"Nicole Chan, the current VP of Saints Hospital?" Tony said in shock.

"Who did you think she was?" Adrianna asked.

"I thought she was Ray's girlfriend." Tony admitted.

'I'm sure she found that hilarious." Cedric wasn't able to stop himself from commenting.

"Don't pretend to know them, you're just an assistant." Adrianna's Aunt Patricia said.

"Aunt Patricia, Cedric actually knows Mr. Raymund Laurence and Mr. Miguel Chan. Also Cedric's boss is the Reyes Heir. So he has met the four princes and their sisters in the past." Adrianna didn't bring up the odd events of their dinner with them in Pris Mall. That story was just too far fetched. The Lobos would never believe that.

"Adrianna darling, why couldn't you have married someone like Tony Tamano here." Grandma Lobo suddenly said. Just like the Hernandez's they did not approve of Adrianna's choice in her husband.

"Grandma, it's been five years since Cedric and I have been married. Can you stop putting him down already? I'm happy with him." Adrianna sighed. It seemed that she would never get a break from her family's comments against Cedric.

"This is all your fault Charles! Why couldn't you have stepped up like your brothers. You don't even have a role in Island's Inc." Grandpa Lobo scolded. He had always complained about how his son-in-law was the least of the Hernandez siblings. Even his sister Cathy was the Head of PR for Island's Inc. it was only Charles that didn't join the family business.

"Dad, that's such an old issue. And we have a guest." Gracia scolded her father.

"That's right we are here to celebrate Amanda's graduation!" Adrianna's Aunt Patricia said quite happily.
