Chapter 88

Cedric waited in his car for Alexi to arrive, this was the problem of hiding his identity, people didn't know who he was and he couldn't enforce the same authority as the other boys. He had to patiently wait for his friend to come over and fetch him.

Alexi's assistant knocked on this car door to fetch Cedric. Cedric followed him inside to an observation room where Alexi was waiting.

Behind the one sided mirror he could see Fredrik and John pacing in the room, looking extremely worried and bothered.

"What do you want to do with them?" Alexi asked, taking a puff of his cigarette.

"Make them pay for their crimes." Cedric said.

"Will you talk to them?" Alexi knew there was much bad blood between Cedric and the two men in the other room. This opportunity was too good to pass off. "They need to learn to be careful of who they offend." Alexi added.

"You go in first. Make them think a bit." Cedric told his friend.

Alexi grinned and went into the next room. Cedric turned on the speakers so that he could hear the conversation.

When Fredrik and John saw Alexi they got down on their knees and begged.

"Congressman Alexander, please please don't do this to us." Fredrik begged.

Alexi chuckled at their attempts.

"You offended someone, but it wasn't me. I'm just the helper." Alexi told them.

"Sir, we haven't offended anyone else." John said with a puzzled look. He was aware of what his father and sister had done at the Mor Co. office and the only people they managed to offend was Alexi and his sisters.

"Really?" Alexi asked.

"Sir, please let us go. We promise not to repeat what we did." John begged.

"You see, you managed to offend someone worse than me. If it were up to me I would just have you beaten and thrown into the streets, the person you offended is much much worse. You can recover from a beating, that's easy, but from the shame you're about to endure? Nope. You had every chance to be nice to that person, but you failed." Alexi laughed.

"Alexi I think that's enough." Cedric said, leaning on the door.

"Mr. Reyes, how have we offended you?" Fredrik asked.

Alexi suddenly laughed.

"Are you sure you really want to know Fredrik?" Alexi nodded.

"Yes sir. So that we could right this wrong." Fredrik said.

"First of all there is no righting this wrong. You did wrong by those people, by offending me and my wife you just gave me a reason to look into your activities. Your wrong can only be righted by you answering to the law." Cedric said.

Fredrik and John had nothing to say back. They both knew that the charges against them were not made up. They had harassed, molested, and even raped some female employees in exchange for promotions.

"Leon wanna bet! I bet Fredrik Hernandez has a heart attack finding out who your boss is!" Alexi shouted to Leon who was standing behind Cedric.

"Sir, I don't gamble." Leon answered. Cedric laughed at Alexi's pissed off face.

Cedric took a seat in front of Fredrik and John.

"You really don't recognize me?" Cedric asked.

John and Fredrik both shook their heads.

"I pity you guys! You had a very important person in front of you this whole time and you chose to treat him like trash rather than as a fellow human being!" Alexi said laughing.

While Alexi said this Cedric was taking off the glasses and mask that he used as a disguise. When Fredrik and John saw his face they were in shock.

"Hello Uncle, John." Cedric said with a grin.

"This is impossible." John said with a sudden burst of courage. "You can't be him! This is a trick."

Cedric laughed at them.

"Do you think, someone you thought of as a nobody would have the ability to call in a favor from Alexander Sebastian and Katerina Sebastian?" Cedric asked.

"You've been married to Adrianna for four years! How could you be the Reyes Heir? He only came back to the country this year." John said, still in denial.

"My friend never left the country." Alexi said as he lit another cigarette. "The Reyes family has an odd tradition called poverty training where they send their heir to live as a poor boy at the age of fifteen only to return at twenty eight. But why am I even telling you this, you are immaterial."

"Alexi, don't be too harsh, they are still Adrianna's family." Cedric said with a grin.

"Cedric, please go easy on us, we are family after all. What would Adrianna think if she found out about this?" Fredric suddenly changed the tone of his voice to one that was practically begging Cedric to let them go.

"See Ced, this is the kind of respect and fear you are missing with your stupid desire to stay secret." Alexi teased.

"There is always a bigger picture Alexi, uncle told me you kept missing that." Cedric laughed.

"Cedric, we promise to be nicer to you and Adrianna, see our public shame already put Adrianna in the spotlight. I never meant to hurt Adrianna." Fredrik begged again.

Cedric stood up and punched John Hernandez on the face.

"Wow Ced, you can really throw a punch. Have you been teaching him Leon?" Alexi asked the bodyguard, completely ignoring the fact that John Hernandez was now bleeding in the police station with a broken nose.

"I've been training with Leon. I can't be some helpless CEO all the time. What would my wife think of me then." Cedric shrugged as he wiped John's blood off on Fredrik's shirt.

Fredrik was so scared that Cedric would punch him as well, he sat still and held his breath.

"Uncle Fredrik, you've been everything but kind to me and Adrianna. You spread rumors about Adrianna, you pulled my wife down, you even let your daughter and cousin physically hurt Adrianna. What kind of a family is that? You are all messed up." Cedric said.

"I will teach my daughter better and I will reprimand Janine. Please Cedric, drop the charges." Fredrik begged.

"You Hernandez's are all fools, all you had to do was be a family and not hurt your own family. Instead you chose to pull each other down, to hurt one another." Alexi laughed.

"Fredrik, being kind to me or even just Adrianna would have been the perfect way for you to rise to power. Regardless of how you treated me, if you treated my wife well I would have given the Hernandez family the opportunity to become one of the richest in the country. Instead you got the opposite, Alexi here will make sure you go to the worst prison in the country where the gangs inside are controlled by the Laurence family. Your daughter will not be spared either, I have a plan for her." Cedric said with a cold smile. Fredrik had never seen Cedric like this, he was confident and full of power, a complete opposite from the man they often saw simply following Adrianna around with a tender look on his eyes. This man looked like a monster of a man, everything about him felt powerful now and everything about him scared Fredrik and John.

Soon several policemen came to drang Fredrik and John away.
