"Are you sure about this?" Adrianna asked as she squeezed her husband's hand.

Cedric had decided to drop Adrianna off at work first before he and Emilio headed to R Tower.

"I don't want to leave him alone at home." Cedric said, shaking his head. "I know that he is going through things that he can't explain, that he is too young to explain or understand. I want to be there for our son."

"He could stay with me at Island's Inc." Adrianna suggested as she placed a hand on her husband's. She was clearly worried about what would happen if Emilio was spotted at the Reyes Group.

"No, it's alright." Cedric said with a nod as he smiled at his wife. "You have a lot to handle today."

Cedric knew that with the loss of Mia, Adrianna had a lot to work on. She not only needed to find someone to replace Mia, but she also had to work on the many things that had been left behind.

Adrianna sighed in surrender as she looked out at the number of paparazzi waiting for her to step out of the car and go to work. This was the first time Cedric was dropping her off since publicly revealing his identity.

Cedric and Adrianna had discussed with their family that they would give the media what they wanted, they would show their faces publicly and allow the novelty of the CEO of the Reyes Group to simply fade away and die.

Initially, they planned on hiding Emilio in order to give him as normal a childhood as possible. But due to the events of the attempted kidnapping, Cedric had decided that he wanted to keep his son with him for the day. Cedric would simply lessen Emilio's exposure to the public.

Today, Emilio would get out of the car and walk with his father to the lobby of R Tower, but on his visits after that day, Emilio would be staying in the car as his father entered through the main doors. Cedric would then meet his son at the basement parking, before finally heading up to the CEO's office.

"Take care." Adrianna finally said as she leaned over to kiss her husband and son.

"Have fun at work mommy!" Emilio said as he wrapped his arms around his mother.

"You behave for your father." Adrianna told her son in a stern tone as Emilio let her go and she gripped the car door handle.

"Yes, mommy." Emilio said with a nod as he smiled up at her.

Adrianna took a deep breath as she finally opened the door and stepped out of the car.

As soon as the members of the media and the paparazzi saw the door opening, they quickly snapped photos, hoping to catch a glimpse of the passengers and of the elegant woman stepping out.

Cedric couldn't help but marvel at how elegant his wife looked. Today she wore a peach pantsuit and high heels, as she walked to the entrance of Island's Inc. you wouldn't think she was already a mother. She looked more like a fresh grad with a slim body.

"Sir, should we go?" Cedric's driver asked as he looked back at his boss.

"In a moment." Cedric mumbled as he continued to watch Adrianna walk over to the entrance. "I want to make sure my wife makes it into the building." Cedric said.

When Cedric finally saw his wife enter the glass doors he gave his driver the order to leave. He watched as the reporters checked the photos they had captured. Cedric was sure that at least one of them would have managed to get a shot of him and Emilio inside the car.

"Daddy, thank you for bringing me." Emilio said as he crawled over to sit on his father's lap. "Daddy, why do those people want to take mommy's photo? Only daddy or Yoyo can take mommy's photo."

Cedric wanted to laugh at his son's question, the little boy already sounded so jealous and possessive at such a young age. He couldn't help but worry about Emilio's future wife.

He smiled at his son as Cedricp pondered how to explain gossips and the paparazzi to his son. How did one explain those things to a smart and curious three-year-old? Emilio was not one to be easily fooled. He knew when people were not telling him the truth, and yet he was still a child that didn't understand everything.

"Well Yoyo, sometimes people are just really curious." Cedric began to explain. "Mom and I have been keeping who we are a secret for such a long time that they can't help but be amazed at your mom."

"They must be amazed by you too daddy!" Emilio said excitedly as he bounced on his father's lap.

"Yoyo." Cedric said with a laugh as he placed his son down back on the seat next to him. "They are actually most excited to see you!"

"Me?" Emilio asked as he pointed a little chubby finger at himself.

Cedric smiled and nodded at his son.

"Will there be lots of cameras later too?" Emilio asked his father as he tilted his head to the side.

"Yes." Cedric told his son with a nod. "But Emilio, I promise you that next time you come with dad to the office, I will ask the driver to drop you off at the basement where I will be waiting for you. You won't have to pass through all of the cameras next time."

Emilio looked up at his dad and hugged him. Cedric was so surprised by his son's actions that he didn't know what to do.

"Daddy, when I grow up, I want to be just like you." Emilio said proudly as he kept his arms wrapped around his father's neck.

"Well Yoyo, if that's what you want then you will need to study hard, you will also need to pass tests." Cedric told his son. He already knew that when it would be Emilio's turn to lead the Reyes Group, he would need to make sure that his son was absolutely ready.

He wasn't planning on making his son go through the same poverty training as he did, but his son would not have it as easily as the other children of rich families. The world won't revolve around this little boy, rather, Emilio will have to adjust to the world.

"I will do what daddy asks me to." Emilio said proudly as they pulled up to the driveway of R Tower.

Cedric looked at his son, he was sure that as Emilio grew older he would not be as cooperative as he was promising now.

"Sir, please wait a while." Cedric's driver told him. "The security team needs to assess the situation outside. They are worried that it might be too dangerous to bring your son out."

Cedric simply nodded and looked out the window. Compared to the people gathered outside Island's Inc. there were much more people waiting outside R Tower. They wanted to catch a glimpse of the man who's single action could change the country's economic direction, as well as his little heir whom they wanted to see more of.
