Chapter 508

Cedric sat on the couch with his son next to him, he caressed the little boy gently as Dave brought over some snacks and juice for the child.

Emilio looked up at his Uncle Dave and thanked him with a smile. Dave smiled back and sat on the couch across Cedric, Emilio, and Camilla.

"Yoyo, will you tell us now what Uncle Aiden said?" Cedric asked as gave his son a stern look.

"You'll scare him you know." Ian said with a laugh. He too was a father so he had an understanding of what motivated and discouraged children.

"Ian is right Cedric." Camilla scolded her boss. Despite still being his employee, Camilla was one of the few that could directly talk to Cedric without attempting to butter him up. It was because she and Ian had worked with him through the hardest times and they were the first to know who he truly was. "Are you trying to undo all the hard work I placed in?" Camilla asked.

Cedric sighed and shook his head, he knew Camilla and Ian were right. He decided to give it a try again, maybe this time Emilio wouldn't be scared.

"Yoyo," Cedric said using his son's pet name. "Will you please tell us what uncle Aiden told you?" Cedric asked his son in a gentle tone.

The child looked up at his father and nodded. Cedric let out a sigh of relief as Emilio now agreed to tell him what had happened, he was however caught off guard by what Emilio said next.

"I'm telling you cause Auntie Camilla asked nicely, daddy didn't ask nicely." Emilio said as he crossed his arms over his chest.

Everyone burst out in laughter as he scolded his father, they never expected this three year old to answer the big bad CEO that way.

"Okay kid." Cedric said with a laugh, he couldn't exactly be mad at his son. The child was too smart, and as a father he was quite proud. "Now, why don't you tell us?"

"Uncle Aiden told me about how Uncle Ray had a secret life, how Uncle Ray was actually the biggest bad guy out there. I didn't believe him, Uncle Aiden said that Uncle Ray was a king, the king of the underworld." Emilio said in a proud tone.

"Did he just talk about your Uncle Ray?" Cedric asked his son. He didn't understand why Aiden would tell Emilio about Ray, they all knew Ray ruled the underworld of the city, so what was Aiden's goal in all of this.

Cedric doubted that Aiden would go through all the trouble just to tell his son stories about his friends, there had to be a bigger plot.

"No daddy." Emilio said, shaking his head. "He talked about all of my uncles."

"What did he say?" Cedric asked as a look of worry crossed his face, there were some things that he and his friends had done that a little child like Emilio should not know.

"He told me that Uncle Alexi liked girls a lot, and that Uncle Alexi would never stick to one girl. He said I should tell auntie Selina that, but I don't think auntie Selina would like to hear that." Emilio said with a frown as he recounted what Aiden had said.

"Well, Uncle Alexi has changed since those times." Cedric said with a nod. "And you are right, even if Auntie Selina knows about this she wouldn't like to hear about it."

Cedric couldn't help but feel proud at how smart Emilio was, he knew what he should and shouldn't say. The little boy clearly cared a lot about the people around him and that was what made Cedric even more proud.

"I like Auntie Selina, I like her much more than Auntie Jen. Auntie Jen wasn't always nice to me." Emilio said with a pout.

"Yoyo, did Auntie Jen hurt you?" Dave asked with a worried look. They knew Jen would never dare hurt the little boy, but they didn't want to rule out the possibility.

"No, but she always said bad things about Auntie Kat, I love Auntie Kat, I think she is the funniest and smartest person around." Emilio said proudly as he bounced on the couch.

"Well now we know who his favorite aunt is." Ian said with a laugh. "Ayanna will be so hurt."

"Uncle Aiden also told me how Auntie Kat got his little sister killed, but Auntie Camilla is here." Emilio said as he looked up at the woman next to him. "Auntie Camilla, you aren't a ghost are you? I'm afraid of ghosts."

Camilla laughed at how silly Emilio's statement had been, she was however, quite surprised that Emilio had quickly managed to connect the dots and realize that the little sister Aiden was talking about was her.

"No Yoyo, I'm not a ghost." Camilla said with a laugh. "Uncle Aiden and my family were mean, so we didn't tell them that I didn't die."

Emilio smiled and hugged Camilla.

"What else did he say Emilio?" Cedric asked his son quite impatiently. It seemed getting a story out of Emilio was even harder than getting the truth out of Jen when they had tortured her.

"He also talked about Uncle Eric and Uncle Miguel and Auntie Nicole." Emilio said as he looked like he was trying hard to recall the conversation.

"Do you remember what he said about them?" Ian asked eagerly. A part of him was worried about what that bastard could have said about his wife and her family.

"I think.. ." Emilio said as he looked up, trying to recall his conversation with Aiden.

"You think what Yoyo?" Dave said with a laugh as Emilio looked more like he was trying to poop rather than trying to remember.

"I think he said something about Uncle Eric, Uncle Miguel, and Auntie Nicole having a cousin." Emilio told them, making Cedric sit up and his eyes go wide. "He said that their cousin is alive and that he knows the only person that can take them to him."

"Him?" Cedric asked, picking up on his son's last word.

"Yes, Uncle Aiden said they had a boy cousin, that if daddy found out the truth about their cousin daddy would hate all of my grandpas." Emilio said with a frown. "Daddy, don't hate my grandpas please, I love my grandpas."

Cedric was stunned as he tried to process what his son had said, what did his father and his friends have to do with the elder Miguel Chan's missing child.
