Chapter 590

"Do you think Yoyo will be able to adapt to going to school?" Adrianna asked as they drove away from the campus.

"So is it safe to say that you approve of my alma mater?" Cedric asked with a laugh.

"Of course I do." Adrianna responded. "I was never against it, I just wanted to be sure."

"Sure of what?" Cedric asked as they approached the main highway.

They were currently on their way home to get dressed and switch cars.

In order to confuse the members of the press and several peaky social climbers, Cedric decided to make a public appearance that afternoon at several expensive schools. He wanted everyone's eyes away from his alma mater.

"I just wanted to be sure that it was the best place for Yoyo." Adrianna said with a shrug. "I mean it has created such amazing alumni."

"You are talking about me and my friends right?" Cedric teased.

"No, I'm talking about those other popular businessmen who came from the same school as you." Adrianna said, rolling her eyes at her husband.

"You know, my alma mater doesn't just cater to the rich and famous." Cedric said with a grin. "The money they get from the rich families are then used to fund the education of all it's scholars, some of which have gone on to change the world."

"So our son will be classmates with the movers and shakers of his generation?" Adrianna asked her husband.

"Possibly." Cedric said with a shrug as he continued to keep his attention on the road. "The other schools we are going to visit also have good graduates."

"Just not as good as at your old school?" Adrianna asked, teasing Cedric.

"Of course I will say my alma mater is the best." Cedric said with a laugh. "Also I don't feel like Yoyo would be as safe in the other schools."

"Well, we are still going to take a look at them." Adrianna said as she placed a hand on her husband's and caressed it softly. She wanted to show him that she was always going to be with him.

"Yeah, who knows, I might find one more suitable for Yoyo." Cedric said with a shrug.

"Hey, don't close the door just yet." Adrianna said, shaking her head.

"I'm not." Cedric said in an amused tone. "As a matter of fact, one of the schools we are visiting is where Dave and Helios Ramiez went to school."

"Didn't they go to the same school as you?" Adrianna asked as she tilted her head to the side. "I thought you guys went to the same posh elitist school."

"Hey!" Cedric complained, a little hurt by Adrianna's comment.

"I'm just kidding, it's posh, but not elitist." Adrianna said with a laugh.

"Dave and Helios went to a more progrssive school than us." Cedric said, shaking his head.

"How so?" Adrianna asked. She wasn't exactly sure where the two friends had gone to school. She just knew that it was also the same school where Selina had studied as well.

"For one it's co-ed." Cedric said with a laugh, his alma mater was an all boys school, and a very old one at that. "Also they are less uptight about the rules, more relaxed. I'm still considering that school, but I'm not sure if I can trust them to keep the information about Yoyo a secret."

"I'm sure if you pay them enough, they will." Adrianna teased.

"I know that's supposed to be a joke, but it is also true." Cedirc said, shaking his head.

"Money makes the world go round." Adrianna said blankly. "But I don't want Yoyo learning that too soon."

"It might be too late for that." Cedric said with a laugh. "He's already betting with his grandfathers."

"That child." Adrianna said, shaking her head. "He is just too smart."

"It's because his mother is amazing." Cedric said as they finally saw the imposing gates of the Mountain View Community on the horizon.

There was a silence between them as Cedric drove through the gates and into the community. He was letting Adrianna think about the repercussions of where they sent their son to study.

"Why don't we just evaluate the schools, and have fun while we are there." Cedric said as the car entered the driveway to their lavish mansion.

"I don't want my son turning into those spoiled rich kids who treat those less than them like shit." Adrianna finally said with a sigh.

"That's why we are looking for the best school for our little boy Adri." Cedric said as he parked the car.

He slowly wrapped an arm around his wife's shoulder and pulled her to him.

"I promise, no matter where he goes to study, we will make sure he understands the value of everything." Cedric said, planting a gentle kiss on her head. "Our son won't be like those spoiled rich heirs Adrianna."

"Will you still make Yoyo undergo poverty training?" Adrianna asked her husband.

"I will, but it will be a different form." Cedric said as he tried to soothe her. "I'll make sure that our son learns what he needs to learn without getting separated from us. That life, it changed something in me, something I don't want our son to go through."

"Okay, I trust you." Adrianna said with a nod as she looked up at her husband.

Cedric leaned forward and kissed his wife passionately. He was so happy that despite years of marriage they still had the same fire for one another.

"We should get down and get ready." Cedric said as he finally broke off the kiss.

"Can't we just hide here all day?" Adrianna groaned as Cedric opened the door and laughed.

"We'll be late." Cedric teased as he jogged over and opened the door for her as well.

"They won't complain, you're too rich to be late." Adrianna teased her husband.

"I'm not some king Adri." Cedric said with an amused laugh. "Come on, we need to get ready to visit the schools." Cedric said as he coaxed his wife.

"Fine, but of the record, I think the only school our son wants to go to is the one you graduated from." Adrianna teased as she walked away to get ready for her long day.
