Chapter 639

Inside Cedric's car, Emilio sat on his father's lap as he looked out the window excitedly. His new school was quite a drive away from their home, so this was a new adventure for him.

With Cedric being quite over protective in the past few months, Yoyo had not been allowed to go to places that were too far from the Mountain View Mansion.

The most Emilio had traveled was to his grandfather's house or to Nicole's house to play with Tristan. Although both places were spacious and quite lavish, the child was happy to be seeing new things.

In fact, with every car that they passed he would ask his dad what it was called. Cedric could already sense that his little boy would be interested in cars when he grew up, maybe Emilio could invest in entering that industry someday.

"What are you thinking about?" Adrianna asked as she placed a hand on his.

"Just the future." Cedric said with a shrug as he smiled at his wife. "I was thinking about how Yoyo will change the company when he takes over."

"Isn't it too early to think of that?" Adrianna asked with a laugh.

"Maybe." Cedric said with a shrug. "But, dad knew that I would be investing in new technologies when I was a child, it was based on what I liked, and it seems to be a trend among the Reyes men to invest in things that they like."

"What did dad expand the Reyes Group to?" Adrianna asked her husband, curious to know what her father-in-law had been interested in during his youth.

"Dad expanded to malls and more diverse properties." Cedric told her. "If he wasn't the Reyes Heir he would have probably become and architect or an engineer according to him."

"And what of our little boy?" Adrianna asked as she patted Yoyo on the head.

"I think he likes cars very much." Cedric said with a smile. "Cars and computers, anything mechanical seems to interest him."

"That's why you got him that tutor." Adrianna said as she realized why her husband had hired and eccentric inventor to tutor their son.

"I wanted him to explore what he likes and enjoys, to not be hindered by what we know." Cedric said with a shrug. "We are rich. I want to give my son every opportunity possible. Plus we don't know yet if he will be the heir to all of this. It could be his little brother or sister."

"Do you think it's a boy or a girl this time?" Adrianna asked her husband.

"I hope it's a girl." Cedric said with a laugh. "Yoyo, would you like a little sister?" Cedric asked his son.

"Yes!" Emilio said happily. "Too many boys already." His son said, shaking his head.

"I want a little princess to spoil too." Cedric said with a laugh. "Plus if we have a girl, Yoyo can protect her."

"You'll spoil her too much." Adrianna grumbled. "I want her to grow up to be independent, not needing anyone else to survive."

"Adri, whether we have a boy or a girl, we will always bring them up the same way." Cedric said with a smile, promising to be fair to their children. "Besides, you spoil Yoyo as it is, I want one to spoil too!"

"Daddy, I want a brother and a sister!" Yoyo suddenly declared.

"Well, you can only have one first, then wait for another." Cedric told his son as he heard his interesting request.

"Okay, I'll wait." Yoyo said as he smiled at his dad and mom.

"Yoyo, look, that's your school!" Cedric said as he pointed out the campus as they passed.

Cedric and the other boys had studied at Saint Ambrose Academy, one of the most prestigious schools in the country. It was well known for it's high class facilities and the quality of graduates it had produced. It was this school that Yoyo was now going to be enrolled in.

"So many cars!" Yoyo gasped as they passed the cars that were lined up outside the campus. These cars were clearly there to drop off some of the students.

"Those are probably your classmates' cars, are you excited to meet them?" Adrianna asked her son.

"Yes mom." Yoyo said with a nod.

"Now, remember, what's your name?" Cedric asked as he made sure to check if his son had remembered their instructions despite his excitement.

"Yoyo Clarin." The little boy said proudly.

"Good." Cedric said with a smile.

"Wow, it's so big." Yoyo said as they passed by the campus.

The frontage of Saint Ambrose Academy was a huge and elegant driveway, from it you could see the football (soccer) field and the white building behind it with greco roman pillars seemingly holding up it's roof in an elegant manner.

The facade of the school building looked more like a lavish museum than a school, something that the school and it's alumni were quite proud of.

"Go over to the back." Cedric instructed his driver.

In order to avoid being spotted or recognized, Cedric had used a different car to take his son to school today, it was his wife's old SUV that had been modified with the best security system possible for a car.

They would be dropping Yoyo off at the backgate of the school, where the school administrator and his teacher would be waiting for them.

Cedric and Adrianna had requested for Yoyo's homeroom teacher to be there since they wanted to meet the woman who would be like their son's second parent.

As they pulled up to the school's backgate, Yoyo began jumping excitedly, clearly eager to be going to school and meeting kids the same age as him.

Cedric's car was followed by his father and sister's, while Miguel and Veronica dropped Dominic off at the front gate, taking the attention away from the more popular child entering the campus secretly.

"Are you ready, Yoyo?" Cedric asked as he smiled down at his boy as the gates opened.

"Yes dad." Emilio said, smiling up at his father.
