"So you really are dating someone, like for real for real." Louisse said as she looked at Camilla in shock. "I thought it was just some lie you cooked up to get me to come here."
"No Lu, I really am dating Camilla, and I love her." Lucius said as he looked lovingly at Camilla. For a moment Camilla felt guilty for leading him on, for pretending to love him even if she felt only disgust for him.
"So how long have you two been dating?" Louisse asked Camilla and Lucius as she pointed at the two of them.
"A little over two months." Camilla said, answering for Lucius. She didn't want his sister thinking she was some weak woman that needed to hide behind Lucius Ting all the time.
"Well, I guess you have to start somewhere, that isn't too long." Louisse said with a grin as if she was trying to get Camilla to show her dark side.
"You can't egg her on Louisse." Lucius said with a laugh. "She isn't some pushover that you can scare off."
"Yup, my sister is the Vice President of Mor Co." Benedict announced proudly as he grinned at Louisse.
"Mor Co.?" Louisse asked as she tried to recall where she had heard the company name before.
"Yes Louisse." Benedict said with a smile as he saw she had realized where she had heard the company before.
"Wasn't that the place your brother had been trying to take down, it's owned by some Reyes person." Louisse said as she tried to remember what she knew.
"It's owned by the Reyes Group, headed by Cedric Reyes, the man that murdered my brother." Camilla said in a bitter tone.
She acted so well that she noticed her brother flinch as he felt the anger in her tone.
"Aiden?" Louisse asked as she looked at her brother.
"Yes, the same Aiden that helped me find out about my birth parents." Lucius said with a nod.
"Aiden your top investor?" Louisse asked her brother. "The very man that helped you build Arch Group? The man behind all of your plans and strategies? He is dead?"
"He didn't tell you?" Benedict asked Louisse with a frown.
"I didn't see the need to tell her before she got here." Lucius said with frown as he saw his sister glare at him.
"That's why you needed me here!" Louisse shouted at her brother. "You lost the man that was leading you through this plot and you need me."
"I don't need you that badly." Lucius said, rolling his eyes. "Benedict was the brains behind Aiden, I have him on my side."
"And what about your funds?" Louisse asked her brother.
"It's not an issue." Lucius said with a grin. "Arch Group earns enough to sustain itself and everything Aiden had is now Benedict's and Camilla's."
"Is that why you are dating her?" Louisse asked her brother.
The men quickly looked at Camilla to see what her reaction would be. To their surprise she simply laughed at Louisse's comment.
"I'm not desperate for a man, Miss Ting." Camilla said with a threatening smile. "I am with Lucius because I want to be with him. My brother and I would continue to fund his ventures even if we weren't dating."
"I don't believe that." Louisse suddenly said.
"Louisse!" Lucius scolded his sister, raising his voice.
"Well, I don't." Louisse told her brother bravely as she crossed her arms on her chest. "The fact that you are here with my brother already means you aren't some pure angel. Save the acting and water works for someone that cares."
"You will not speak to my girlfriend like that." Lucius warned his sister as he quickly came in defense of Camilla.
"Why? Afraid I'll drive away your sugar mommy girlfriend Lucius?" Louisse said, practically threatening her brother.
"Shut the fuck up Louisse!" Lucius said angrily.
"Calm down, Lucius." Camilla said as she laughed at his reaction. "Your sister won't scare me away."
"Sir, I think we have a problem." One of Lucius' employees said, suddenly interrupting their discussion.
Lucius frowned but motioned the man over. All of Lucius' employees knew that he hated being interrupted no matter what he was doing.
"This better be important." Lucius warned as the man walked over. "What is it?" Lucius asked with a raised eyebrow."
"Sir, some of your guests have been acting quite off." The employee said as he looked down at his feet, not daring to look Lucius in the eyes.
"Off, you came here and interrupted my discussion because some of my guests aren't acting as you expect them to?!" Lucius was now furious as he slapped the man across his cheek.
"Lucius!" Louisse said, scolding her brother.
"Don't you dare step in and tell me how to handle my employees, Louisse Ting!" Lucius threatened, stopping his sister in her tracks.
"Hear him out." Camilla suddenly said, defying what Lucius wanted to do.
"Are you contradicting me right now, Camilla?" Lucius asked as he kept his back turned on Camilla.
"Listen to her." Benedict said in a domineering tone. "We are investors so we have a right to this Lucius, don't forget that."
Lucius was forced to back down at Benedict's reminder.
Seeing his boss step back, the man quickly got up and straightened his clothes. Camilla could see the red mark on his face where Lucius had slapped him.
"Ask him what you want to know." Lucius told Camilla as he pulled her on his lap and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Tell us what's wrong, or at least what the guests are saying." Camilla ordered the man, not sounding any nicer than Lucius.
"From what we are hearing they have gotten threats." The man told Camilla.
"Threats from the Reyes Group?" Lucius asked as he suddenly straightened up. "I mean I'm not surprised, but how could the Reyes Group threaten them? It's not like they are breaching their contracts."
"We don't know what they are being threatened with, sir." The man said in quiet voice, afraid to trigger Lucius' anger once more.
"What tricks are the Reyes Group pulling this time?" Benedict asked as he looked at his sister.
"Never underestimate Cedric Reyes." Camilla said as she shook her head.
"Go and find out what exactly is going on." Lucius ordered his employee. "And don't come back until you know exactly what Cedric Reyes is telling them."
At that the man quickly left.
