Soon, an assassin sect who was on guard duty used a voice enhancement talisman to shout at Ajax and his followers.

However, Ajax didn't order the devourer eagle generals to land on the ground yet as he looked into the distance as though he was searching for someone.

'I wonder whether they were here or not?'

After checking his surroundings for a few moments, Ajax thought, 'I think they might be  watching from someplace.'

"If you are not coming down, we will be attacking you."

The assassin on the watch duty frowned when he saw the cultivators were not coming down. So, he threatened them while pointing three huge magical artilleries at the three devourer eagle generals.

"Fine."

Seeing the magical artillery, Ajax shook his head with a scoffed before ordering the three devourer eagle generals to land.

"State what business do you have with the assassin sect? Why are you flying across the sect?"

A dozen of assassin sects surrounded Ajax and his followers as they seriously asked about their reason for entering the perimeter of the sect and why they were flying.

If not for the cultivation of the barbarian whom they were unable to see and two peak rank 6 devourer eagle generals, they would have been killed without asking for the reasons.

That's how this world was.

"My young master here wants to talk with your sect leader."

Darbaudr released his cultivation pressure as he replied for the purpose of their visit.

All the guards were gasping for air as they thanked the tenth elder.

As for the tenth elder, he glanced at the dozen watch guards lying on the ground and scolded before muttering, "You are no longer required for the sect."

As soon as he finished his words, a few poison darts appeared out of nowhere as they killed all the watch guards.

All the assassin guards were having shocked expressions as they still didn't understand why they were killed just for doing their job.

Never in their wildest dreams, they imagined they would be killed by their own elder.

'This must be karma.'

This was their last thought as they fell to the ground looking at the sky.

"Throw these bodies in the underground abyss. At least they would be helpful for us in providing some pure dark energy for cultivation."

He ordered the other guards who came a little late before going back into the sect.
