Chapter 1101: Second function of the Never-returning cave.

'Huh?'

Ajax stopped in his tracks for a moment before turning towards the barbarian and asked, "You can ask. What is there to hesitate?"

How could Ajax not see clear hesitation in the barbarian's eyes?  So, he asked Darbaudr to ask him what he wanted to ask.

"Young master, are you going to other provinces?"

Every time, his young master was missing for a few days and even though Darbaudr was curious about it, he never thought of asking about it.

However, right now, his strength has recovered to the peak and he even got the barbarian king's sword along with a rank 5. So, he thought of searching for his lost tribe members.

Moreover, if he could break into the King realm, he could start his mission of taking revenge against the demon king and his apostle.

So, he asked whether Ajax had any ways to enter other provinces.

"You want to enter Ylercester province?"

Ajax could guess what Darbaudr wanted from him. So, before the barbarian could reply, he continued, "For now, I can't travel between the provinces; however, after four or five months, I can do it. At that, I promise to bring you to the other province."

"Thank you, young master. Until then, I will conquer the inner section slowly."

Darbaudr thanked Ajax as he knew his young master would definitely keep your promise.

"Let's wait for the Primitive ape king."

Ajax thought he should say a few words to the Primitive ape king to cooperate with Darbaudr.

So, he thought to wait for him.

Time continued to pass and a couple of hours passed by.

'Swoosh'

While Ajax was checking the operation of the battle beasts' formation, someone came that surprised Ajax.

"Captain Edmond"

Ajax called out looking at the middle-aged man.

"You know, you are one tough guy to find in this province."

Captain Edmond replied to Ajax with a slight smile on his face.

"You are looking for me?"

Ajax was surprised as he bought Captain Edmond into a cultivation chamber.

"Looks like you forgot again. Didn't you promise me that you will come to the place where I train?"

Captain Edmond shook his head at Ajax's forgetfulness as he explained.

"Right!"

Ajax understood and nodded his head, "I am ready."

Since Ajax had already rejected Captain Edmond's invitation two times in the past, he felt it would be not good to reject once again. So, he readily agreed to Captain Edmond's invitation to his training place.

"Darbaudr, I will come back soon. If the primitive ape king comes, let him know I agreed and say what I wanted him to do."

He said a single line to his barbarian followers before he and captain Edmond rushed towards the middle section of the cursed wilderness.

"Congratulations, Ajax. You finally took revenge against the assassin sect at such a young age."

Along the way, Captain Edmond congratulated Ajax for the completion of his revenge and achievement.

"Sigh"

However, Ajax shook his head as he sighed.

"Huh?"

Captain Edmond frowned for a moment before asking, "What happened, Ajax?"

He thought Ajax was injured during the destruction of the assassin sect; however when he remembered that Ajax barely did anything in the assassin sect while his elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts took care of everything.

So, he rejected that thought and thought about other things while waiting for Ajax to say what actually happened.

"My revenge is not finished; instead, it has just begun."

While saying these words, Ajax clenched his fists as he replied to Captain Edmond.

"What? Don't tell me that the assassin sect is not the true mastermind behind the massacre."

Captain Edmond was right on point as he already had experience on a few things about the assassin sect.

"Yes. Their backer 'Ancient assassin sect' was the true mastermind."

Ajax nodded his head as he replied to Captain Edmond with a serious look on his face.

"Anceint assassin sect?"

Edmond already knew the back of the assassin sect; however, what he didn't understand was why they would massacre a bunch of kids who are yet to begin their cultivation.

"I think this place is all you need for your revenge."

Soon, Captain Edmond revealed a smile as he continued saying, "As long as you train in that place, all your battle prowess will be increased a lot. Moreover, your skills, cultivation techniques and even bloodline will be increased."

"What?"

Ajax was shocked by Edmond's words after hearing such great benefits from a training place.

Why would he not train in such a place if it really gives that many benefits as Edmond said?

"Yes. Once you have enough confidence in yourself, you can take revenge on the ancient assassin sect."

Edmond advised Ajax to have confidence in himself first before seeking revenge.

"I will do that, Captain Edmond."

Ajax was no longer the greenhorn he used to be in the past and matured a lot during the last few months. So, he knew what he had to do in order to take revenge against the ancient assassin sect.

Before he could go against the ancient assassin sect, Ajax wanted to destroy the second branch of that sect in the Ylercester province.

Soon, they continued to run along the border of the middle-section and inner section of the cursed wilderness.

"Th...this is..."

Ajax felt like he had visited these surroundings in the past as he looked at the distant cave.

The cave was none other than the 'Never-returning cave' that Ajax and Paulin entered in the past and successfully completed the trial.

"I know you and Paulin had entered this never-returning cave."

Just as Ajax was feeling surprised seeing the never-returning cave, he heard Captain Edmond continue to speak, "This cave is not only used for conducting trials but it will also help the participants who successfully completed the trial in becoming stronger."

"What?"

Ajax was pleasantly surprised when he heard there was an additional function for the never-returning cave.

"But, why did the trial master…."

"I know what you want to ask."

Before Ajax could finish his question, Captain Edmond interrupted him as he continued, "You want to know why the trial master didn't explain about it because it is the participant who had to find out regarding the other function of this cave."

"It took me quite a while before finding out and I don't want you and Paulin to delay the training in this place."

Captain Edmond had a slight smile on his face as he explained why he was urging Ajax to enter the training place.

"Thanks, Captain Edmond. I owe you one."

If the place is just like what Captain Edmond had said, then Ajax really owes Captain Edmond a big time.

Because a place that could even increase the level of the bloodline is quite rare even in the greater world. So, of course, he felt it was a great help.

"It is no big deal. Compared to how much you helped me, this one is very small."

Captain Edmond shook his head as they walked towards the entrance of the never-returning cave.

"Captain Edmond, I want to know how long..."

"Just go inside and you will learn everything on your own."

Before Ajax could finish his words, Captain Edmond pushed Ajax into the cave.
