Chapter 1147 - Unexpected Incident

"Where is the human?"

The high-level demon king was none other than one of the demon apostles of the primordial demon emperor.

Currently, he has two missions. One was to capture the divine dragon and another one was to kill the human.

Since he already captured the divine dragon, only killing the human was left; however, he was unable to find the human anywhere in the nearby surroundings.

Moreover, he even checked with his demon senses in the entire Obsidian naga world but found no trace of the human.

So, he could only ask the elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts that were working for the human.

"He is in another smaller world."

The divine dragon that was roaring for a while now stopped roaring and replied in a calm tone as he continued, "Why don't you challenge my master? As long as you win I will willingly follow you back and acknowledge you as my new master."

"You need to accept my Emperor as your master, not me."

If there was Jostruth and the other four high-level demon kings, they would have readily accepted the offer because they are not so loyal to the primordial demon emperor.

If they could get the divine dragon for themselves, they could betray the primordial demon emperor without thinking for a second.

However, these demon apostles were different. In their minds, the primordial demon emperor was the absolute entity in their minds and hearts.

The divine dragon nodded his head as he continued, "So, can you defeat my master?"

"Where is your master? Call him."

Even though the demon apostles were not good at thinking, they could still make decisions for small things and since the divine dragon will accept the primordial demon emperor as his master as long as he, the demon apostle defeats the divine dragon's master.

"As I said, he is in another world; however, we can enter that world through the portal."

The divine dragon once again showed his cunning nature; however, the demon apostle didn't notice it.

"Wait a second. Let me call some backup."

Nevertheless, the demon apostle didn't move from his place, not because he felt something fishy with the divine dragon's words.

Instead, according to the basic rules he learned, he should not enter the portals without backup.

So, he sent some signal to the other demon apostles and the demon apostles in the endless space searching for the divine dragon and humans received the signal without any problem.

"Sure. I will wait. But, can you remove this net?"

The divine dragon nodded his head; however, he felt uncomfortable and frustrated being in the net and asked the demon apostle to remove it.

"No...the rules say I can't free you until I return back to the Primordial demon emperor."

The demon apostle replied to the divine dragon with an emotionless look on his face.

'Damn you.'

The divine dragon was furious; however, he knew it was not the time to mess up  the plan as he thought, 'As long as I bring you back to the grey dwarf planet, not only will my master kill you all but I will get to eat you all...haha.'

When he thought about the meal he would be eating after going back to the grey dwarf world, the divine dragon could not help but inside his heart and decide to endure his current situation.

'At that time, I hope Ajax would not take all my food and give them those devourer eagles. I should at least get half of the carcasses of these demon apostles. I hope there will be more demon apostles as I can get more to eat.'

Even though the divine dragon didn't know how many demon apostles the demon apostle in front of him had called, he hoped more demon apostles would come.

As for whether Ajax could kill that many demon apostles or not, the divine dragon didn't worry as he knew as long as Ajax was inside the grey dwarf world, he could almost fight with an emperor not to mention a bunch of high-level kings.

While the demon apostle was waiting for his backup, Volcanic contacted Ajax through the voice transmission.

When Ajax was not around, Volcanis is in charge of the elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts because he had a good leader while invading or conquering.

'Master, Twilight got caught.'

Seeing that the situation was still in control, Volcanis informed everything that was happening and where the divine dragon was able to think of a solution.

'He is really becoming intelligent and once he becomes a King realm divine dragon, he would become more cunning. Thank heavens he is my contracted spirit beast.'

Previously when Ajax learned that the divine dragon stalled Jostruth and other high-level demon kings, while he was taking out the world core and now, he managed to control the situation despite the fact that he was in a special net.

So, his hopes on the divine dragon reached the next level.

'So, I just have to wait in the grey dwarf world, right? Good.'

After learning everything, Ajax nodded his head as he replied to Volcanis.

'Yes, summoning master.'

Volcanis nodded his head.

'Anyway, to be on the safer side, I will be just outside the portal and if you sense anything bad, just inform me, I will jump into the portal and activate my bloodline.'

Nevertheless, Ajax didn't want to entirely rely on the thought that the demon apostles would be entering the grey dwarf world.

As long as he enters the obsidian naga world and activates the abyssal beast god bloodline, their survival chances would be more. Even if his summons were unable to fight, he could summon them all back into the inner world before jumping back to the grey dwarf world.

So, Ajax made a backup plan and informed Volcanis about it.

Time continued to pass and in a flash, four hours passed by before the demon apostle started coming from all the directions.

"What are you waiting for without bringing the divine dragon to the emperor."

Looking at the divine dragon in the net, they were not excited or happy. With the expressionless looks on their faces, they asked the demon apostle who gave a signal to them.

"His master is hiding in another world that was connected by that portal."

Pointing at the portal, the demon apostle explained everything about the conversation he had with the divine dragon and all the other demon apostles nodded their heads.

"Good. We will take care of that human and as for you, bring that divine dragon to the emperor."

One of the demon apostles who was a little bigger and stronger ordered the demon apostle who caught the divine dragon to take the divine dragon back to the greater primordial demon world.

"Okay."

The demon apostle didn't speak much as he nodded his head and started flying into the sky.

"What?"

Volcanis and the divine dragon were shocked with the sudden twist and the divine dragon hurriedly shouted, "I want to see my master get defeated. Why don't we go along with them?"

"Shut up."

The demon apostle berated the divine dragon as he flew into the sky within no time.
