Chapter 1207 - Challenging The First Guardian

"Do you want to challenge the normal guardians of this 'training grounds'?"

The old man asked Ajax with a slight smile on his face.

Even though there was a smile on his face, deep down the old man was still unable to believe that the young man in front of him had already reached the limit of his training grounds.

From the time he had established this 'training grounds', the old man had never seen anyone reach the 'Limit' within such a short time.

'Looks like his chances of clearing this 'training grounds' in a couple of decades are very high.'

However, other than that shock, the old man was looking forward to Ajax and waited for Ajax to clear his 'training grounds'.

"Challenging the guardians of this 'training grounds'?"

Ajax was surprised for a moment and felt excited to challenge the normal guardians; however, when he thought about something, Ajax felt a slight fear.

As the owner of the training grounds, the old man was invincible in the training grounds and he was sensitive to every minute detail. So, when he sensed that Ajax was hesitating and showing the sign of slight fear, he asked Ajax what was bothering him.

"How can I fight the guardians like that?"

Ajax pointed at the sky and asked the old man with a bitter smile on his face.

In the sky, there was a huge bird that seemed to be following him wherever he went in the training grounds and shook his head.

'Huh? Don't tell me you were killed by that one in your previous visit?'

The old man asked with a surprised look on his face.

"Yes…I presume that is one of the guardians of this training grounds, right?"

Ajax nodded his head as he asked the old man about the huge bird in the sky.

Since the huge bird was very strong, Ajax guessed it might be one of the guardians of the training grounds. 

Even though he had not seen the other guardians of the training grounds, Ajax could tell that they have more or less the same strength and currently, he didn't have the strength to go against them.

"Haha…looks like your luck is really bad."

Hearing Ajax's words, the old man could not help but laugh out loud as he replied, "That's right. It is the guardian of the training ground."

"However, you don't have to worry because that is the only strongest guardian in the training grounds and you will be challenging it for the last. Until then, it will not kill you, much less attack you."

The old man could feel that Ajax needed to be explained some things because generally those who enter the bloodline training grounds would rarely be killed by the guardians unless they were challenged.

However, Ajax's luck was so bad that he met the strongest guardian of the training grounds and once a guardian killed the trainers, it would follow the trainer whenever they entered the training grounds until it was challenged.

"What? It will not attack me?"

Ajax was shocked by the sudden revelation as he didn't expect that.

'Damn it…because of that huge bird, my killing efficiency had decreased quite a bit. If not for that bird, I would have reached my so-called 'Limit' 100 days earlier.'

Because of the huge bird, Ajax hid and waited until the bird disappeared from his surroundings. Only after it left, he would resume his hunting for the bloodline points.

'I need the bloodline points. Looks like I need to test the strength of the guardian spirit beasts. Even if I get killed, I can get a rough understanding of how strong these so-called guardian spirit beasts are.'

With that thought in his head, Ajax nodded his head at the old man before saying, "So, how many guardian spirit beasts are there in this training grounds."

"Other than the huge bird you see in the sky, there are 10 more guardian spirit beasts which have the  minimum cultivation of a low-level king realm."

Once Ajax asked about the guardian spirit beasts of the training grounds, the old man started explaining about them as he continued, "And the tenth guardian spirit beast is invincible in the King realm."

Ajax raised his brows when he heard the cultivations of the guardian spirit beasts for a moment before asking, "Then are you telling me that the huge bird in the sky is an emperor realm spirit beast?"

Since the huge bird in the sky was the strongest guardian of the training grounds, Ajax understood the rough cultivation of the huge bird.

"That's right!"

The old man nodded his head as he continued saying, "Also, after defeating a guardian spirit beast, you can once again absorb the bloodline energy from killing the normal spirit beasts in the training grounds."

"Good."

Finally, Ajax felt better when he heard those words because he didn't have to defeat all the guardian spirit beasts; instead, he just had to defeat one before increasing the bloodline points by killing the regular spirit beasts.

"Old man, let's start the challenge with the weakest guardian."

Ajax clenched his fists as he thought about how many bloodline points a guardian spirit beast would give upon killing it.

"Sure"

With a wave of his hands, the old man summoned a huge spirit beast that roared at Ajax the moment it appeared in front of him.
