Chapter 1237 - Emperor Beast Pendant

"Master, next time when I enter the training grounds, I want to visit where you live."

Ajax was curious about his master's place and wondered what kind of a place that an emperor realm cultivator lives.

So, he requested to visit Mostror' place.

"Sure."

Mostror didn't mind taking Ajax to his place. So, he nodded his head.

"Thank you, master. I will take my leave now."

Ajax was indirectly asking Mostror to send him out of the bloodline training grounds as he didn't know how to get out of it.

"Before I send you away, take these."

Mostror threw two pendants at Ajax.

One was blood red and the other one was the black in colour.

"Master, what are the…"

Before Ajax could finish his words, he was teleported out of the bloodline training grounds by Mostror.

In the next second, Ajax appeared in the familiar Never-returning cave, making him a little speechless regarding the earlier actions of his master.

'You gave two items to your disciple; however, shouldn't you help with the items?'

Ajax muttered to himself as he looked at the two pendants in his hands.

Item name:- Emperor beast pendant.

Effect:- It summons an emperor grade spirit beast when the host is in a life and death situation for five minutes.

Uses:- 2 times / 3 times

More information:- An item created by a fallen genius Aron alpineswift that allows to store an emperor realm spirit beast's partial soul which can come out of the pendant on its own when the user is in a very bad situation.

'What? Emperor beast?'

After reading the information on the blood-red coloured pendant, Ajax was shocked to the core as he didn't expect his master to give such a good item.

'But, it is a used item. I wonder if it was used by the master himself or he lent it to others.'

Since it was already used one, it left with two remaining uses. So, Ajax wondered about it.

'Also, from the looks of it, Master seems very close to the fallen genius Aron alpineswift.'

Whenever his master Mostror was speaking about the fallen genius Aron alpineswift, Ajax could sense various emotions on Mostror's face.

Sometimes, he was happy and the next moment, he would become sad and angry.

However, Ajax didn't want to ask about that and felt it would be best to wait for some time before asking more about that fallen genius.

'Anyway, let's see what is the use of another item.'

Ajax wore the blood-red coloured pendant as he checked the information on the second pendant.

Item name:- Teleportation pendant.

Effect:- It will directly teleport the host to a place that was already connected to the pendant.

Note:- It has a cooldown of one month before using that effect.

'Oh…nice item.'

Ajax was surprised with black coloured pendant's effect  and wondered, 'I wonder, where will it teleport me?'

Nevertheless, after recalling the effect, Ajax didn't want to use the pendant anymore because he didn't want to get stuck in some place and miss the contest.

With that thought in his head, Ajax wore that pendant too without any hesitation.

Since the system didn't mention that he could wear only one pendant, Ajax didn't worry about not triggering the effect of the pendants.

'Anyway, I can use it retreat when I encounter the enemies I can't defeat.'

Even though Ajax had other trump cards, he didn't mind adding another one to his collection.

'Let's go and meet others now.'

Just as Ajax thought to go and meet others, he saw a silhouette appear in the cave.

"Sir Zaglanath?"

With a glance, Ajax could guess who it was, as he respectfully called him.

"What sir? I have to call you young master since you are a disciple of uncle Mostror."

Zaglanath shook his head as he politely greeted Ajax.

"Young master?"

Ajax raised his brows; however, when he thought about it, he understood something.

'He might be a servant of Master Mostror; however, since he is called my master as uncle, I might be wrong.'

Ajax didn't come to a conclusion directly as he asked, "So, you are still recruiting."

Since Zaglanath's job was to recruit the young men who pass the trial before sending them into the bloodline training grounds, Ajax asked about it.

"No. I stopped it four days ago."

Zaglanath replied with a slight smile on his face.

"Young master, I have something to ask from you. If you give permission, I will ask; otherwise, just forget that I said those words."

All of a sudden, Zaglanath said something that made Ajax raise his brows; however, he nodded his head while covering his expression.

"Thank you, young master. After hearing my request, you can reject it if you feel like not doing it."

First, Zaglanath thanked Ajax as he continued, "I heard a lot about young master' battle prowess from Uncle Mostror and I also learned that you are going to participate in the contest that will be held in the Ylercester province in a couple of days."

"Yes."

Ajax nodded his head as he waited for Zaglanath to continue speaking.

"Five young participants that cleared the never-returning cave and trained in the respective training grounds will be participating in that contest too. Even though they were not bad, they have become a little arrogant. I want the young master to show them that it is not good to be arrogant."

"Oh."

Ajax was surprised for a moment; however, he felt it was completely normal and nodded his head after thinking for a moment.

"By the way, what about brother Paulin? Is he not training in any of the training grounds?"

Speaking of the young men who passed the trials conducted by Zaglanath, Ajax thought about his senior brother Paulin and inquired about him.

"Oh. He was brought in by Edmond and he was training in the Skill training grounds where you can upgrade all your skills depending on the effort you are putting in doing so."

Zaglanath replied without thinking much as though he was expecting Ajax to ask about Paulin.
