'I need just a little more time and I can finally complete it too,' Edmond silently thought in his head before looking at Udo and Darbaudr.

Let's kill them and destroy the mercenary guild," A level 8 elite demon general looked at the three and ordered the 12 elite demon generals who had the strength levels from level 1 to level 6.

"Yes, Chief," All the 12 elite demon generals nodded their head and eyed Edmond and others with a hateful gaze.

Humans and Demons were enemies by nature and hated one another to the core.

"By the chief, what about those kids," Among the 12 demon generals group, one of them looked at the young cultivators, who were busy fighting with the mutated demon servants and normal demon servants.

"Let them play for a while, I have another thing to do before that," The Demon chief looked at the elite demon general, who was playing dead and chuckled.

"Not only that, his strength seemed to have increased more than us," Darbaudr checked his strength which had almost reached the level 7 of the elite general realm.

"Damn it. How can I be this careless," Edmond killed a level 1 elite demon general and cursed himself for being careless.

"Haha...is not your fault though. It is his method that is very powerful and he can increase his strength from his death. Every time you kill him, he will become powerful," the demon chief laughed at Edmond and calmly explained the mysterious technique of the elite demon general.

'How can these demons are gaining more and more powerful techniques? If this is continued, then the human race will be completely invaded by them,' Edmond's heart started worrying about the future of the human race.

Even though he had some bad blood between some of the humans, that didn't mean he wanted the entire human race to be invaded by the demons. 

'I should complete my revenge and start preparations for the war with the demons,' Edmond thought in his head and continued fighting the elite demon generals.

"You did your job just as you are instructed. Now it's time for us to make use of it," Demon chief smiled at the elite demon general before extending his hand.

"Wait. So, you are from the organisation. Thank god, I got scared a little when you were coming towards me earlier," The elite demon general heaved a sigh of relief before extending his hand for a handshake.

"Yes, we are from the same organization; however, you are a servants' section in that organization whereas I belong to the leaders' section of that organization,"

As their hands met, Demon chief's calm smile turned into an evil one that made the elite demon general didn't understand what was happening before his body started burning with a black flame.

"Hey, what are you doing? Didn't I follow what you asked me to do?" The elite demon general anxiously asked while trying to take back his hand; however, no matter how hard he tried, he could not take back his hand.

Finally, after struggling for some time, he managed to pull back his hand but as soon as he freed his hand from the demon chief's hands, the intensity of the black fire on his body increased all of a sudden.

His painful shouts resounded in the surroundings that made all of those who were instantly fighting stopped for a moment to look in his direction.

Even when his body was completely burned by the black fire, he still didn't understand the exact reason for his death.
