Name:New Age Of Summoners Author:
Ajax looked at Edmond and became confused.

"Although I am not completely sure, I feel that you seemed to like the feeling of killing the demon," Edmond explained after seeing the confused look on Ajax's face.

"Yes, I am enjoying it. Whenever I start killing them, I want to kill them more," Ajax now understood what Edmond meant by his earlier words and nodded his head in agreement.

"It is good as long as you keep that feeling when you kill the demons and not become addicted to the killing. It is not a good thing for you to completely immerse in the killing. It might cause inner demons in the future," Edmond seriously warned Ajax while pausing his battle with the demons.

"Sure, Captain Edmond,"

Ajax understood what Edmond was saying and nodded his head while agreeing to Edmond's words.

When one was completely immersed in the killing, they would be unable to stop that thing as it would become a habit.

When they don't find any enemies to kill, they could even kill their own families or those who were close to them.

So, Ajax didn't find anything wrong in Captain Edmond's warning.

"Good,"

Captain Edmond was satisfied with Ajax's manners and went back to fight the demons once again. At the same time, he conserved his energy for the third batch of the demon army.

Not only Edmond but all Udo, Darbaudr, Blood rose and Rulf did the same thing because that was the true battle for them and if they annihilate the third batch as soon as possible, they could go and rest while leaving the second batch to others to fight.

"Finally, I can leave now without getting any bad remarks," Ajax muttered in a low voice before slowly moving away from the fight between the demon army and the humans.

When a human cultivator or mercenary disappeared from a fight or war, they would be ridiculed as a coward and Ajax wouldn't want to be branded as a coward when he was going away on a mission.

So, Ajax proved himself for an hour and showed his battle prowess while killing as many demons as possible. Now, even if don't show for the remaining of the battle no one would dare to ridicule him as a coward.

He didn't immediately run away from that place; instead, he slowly walked for a while and when he was enough distance away from the fight, he summoned Twilight.

'Twilight, don't roar,'

As soon as he summoned the destructive dragon, he ordered him not to roar as it would give away his location to others.

'Now, go,'

Ajax gave all his commands to Twilight through the voice transmissions and pointed his finger in the direction of the cursed abyss.

'Swoosh'

Twilight silently flew in the direction that Ajax pointed.

…..

The way Ajax had fought with the demons earlier seemed to be a very consuming one that made the old guild master wonder how huge his spirit consciousness was.

However, when he saw the Ajax had finally left the fighting area, he felt that Ajax only had a little more spirit consciousness capacity when compared to others.

So, the guild master finally heaved a sigh of relief and continued to watch over the battle of Edmond and others with the demon army.

'Why are they taking so long?'

Occasionally, he glanced at the pitch-black portal and silently thought in his head and wondered about the third batch.

....

As Ajax was flying towards the cursed abyss and Edmond and other mercenaries were busy fighting the demon army, something similar to the meeting was going on in three top sects and five great families.

Inside the inner grounds of the assassin sect,

"So, no one is supposed to go out of the sect, until I order you to move," An old man in a black robe ordered the kneeling disciples and the bowing elders of the assassin sect in front of him.

"Yes, sect leader," All the disciples and elders replied in a unanimous tone making the old man in black robes nod his head with a satisfied smile on his face.

"Good. Now everyone, go back to your works and forget what is going on in the outside of the sect,"

After saying that the old man, who was called as the sect leader disappeared into thin air.

At the Fire sword sect,

"Everyone, since I am the temporary sect leader, I have the qualifications to order you, right?" A middle-aged man in his late thirties looked at the group of elders and disciples in front of him and asked with a small smile on his face.

"Yes, First elder,"

Everyone nodded their heads and agreed to the middle-aged man's words.

The middle-aged man was none other than the first elder of the fire sword sect and because the sect leader was inside his cultivation chamber, the first elder became the temporary sect master and had the qualifications to give orders in the fire sword sect.

"Good. So, I am ordering everyone not to help the mercenaries against the demon army. Do you understand?"

At the end of his sentence, the first elder's face was very serious that no disciple dared to look straight into his eyes and looked down before nodding their heads.

"Now, go back to your works," After looking at the feared looks on their faces, the first elder became satisfied with himself and asked them to disperse.

"Brother, are you doing this because of Edmond?" After everyone dispersed, the second elder asked the first elder in a low voice.

"Haha...he is just a coward, who is still living because of his son's last wish and Why do I care about that Coward," Although the first elder said that; however, his face said something different.

"I understand, brother," The second elder, Oldins, who came along with the fire sword disciples to the Summoner king's inheritance ground nodded his head as though he understood it.

"Okay fine...Yes, I want him to die in the hands of those demons," The first elder finally gave his true answer when he saw the look on the second elder's face.

"And do you think he will die against a small scale demon invasion?" The second elder shook his head at the thinking of the first elder.

"Absolutely not. How can he die against a small scale demon invasion? You must be dreaming. I want him to injure himself against the demons and with that, his progression in the cultivation will be delayed," the first elder revealed a smile as he continued, "I got informed that no other sects were sending the reinforcements to assist those lowly mercenaries."

After the second elder returned from the summoner king's inheritance ground, he informed everything that happened to the first elder which made the first elder very angry.

"He is getting more and more powerful and what's more we can kill him because of that damn sect leader of ours," the first elder became angry as he clenched his fists.
