510 Arrival of the demon king

Ajax interrogated the main demon general for a while now and finally got known answers to some of his questions.

"So, you have three main purposes in invading the Zrochester province with your small scale demon army?" Ajax asked as he looked at the main demon general, who was barely able to endure the 'Absolute Darkness' effects after finishing his interrogation.

"Yes, now...now please le..t me..go," the main demon general didn't have any more energy in his body as he stammered in his speech.

After interrogating the main demon general for some time, Ajax found out three main purposes for their invasion of the Zrochester province.

One, they wanted to test whether the guild master healed his old injuries from an old fight with their demon king.

Two, it was to kill the top three mercenary squad captains and kill as many as mercenaries possible.

And the final one was to find the entrance of an ownerless dimensional crevice for their demon king and help him claim the dimensional crevice.

Not only this information but Ajax also got the basic power structure of the demon world like the demon world was ruled by one of the six demon kings and he also orders the other demon kings as his servants.

Moreover, this invasion process was initiated by the sixth demon king after getting permission of the leader of the demon king.

"Release," After getting the complete information of the sixth demon king's plans, Ajax cancelled the 'Absolute darkness' skill and made the main demon general free from the hellish nightmares.

The main demon fell to the ground as he heaved a sigh of relief and without wasting any time, he took out some pills from his space ring and consumed them.

"So, you are free now," Ajax revealed a slight smile as he turned back and moved towards the entrance of the dimensional crevice.

'Huh? Is he going just like that?' The main demon general felt something was not right when he saw that Ajax was letting him leave alone.

'That's right! Why is he not taking his summons along with him? Is he planning to kill me with his summons?' Finally, the main demon general understood something as he thought in his head.

After killing the other demon generals, Ajax didn't summon them back into his spirit consciousness and let them stay out.

Since Ajax promised he would not kill him but what about his elemental spirits and contracted spirit beasts.

"What are you waiting for? Come on let's go,"

All of a sudden, Ajax stopped walking and turned towards his summons and ordered them to follow him.

'Roar'

"Yes, summoning master,"

Hearing Ajax's orders, the elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts replied to him before following him.

'What? Is he really letting me go?' The demon general really felt something was not right and after pondering for a moment, he thought, 'Maybe humans really cared about promises.'

When he thought about the later part of this sentence, the main demon general felt it was funny and felt, 'As long as humans like you exist, demons like me continued to exist. Also, don't let me see you in the future, I will definitely kill you the next time I see you.'

Even though he valued his life more than anything else, the main demon general was one of those demons that would take revenge for even a tiny bit of humiliation.

While he was thinking something, Ajax once again stopped walking and turned back towards the main demon general.

"By the way, I have one last question to ask you," 

Ajax started moving towards the main demon general and said something that made the main demon general raise his brows.

'Since you are keeping your promise I can answer one more question to you,' the main demon general silently thought in his head.

There was also a reason why he thought like that because after enduring the pain from the 'Absolute Darkness' skill for some time, he felt completely tired and he didn't even have the strength to escape from here. So, he didn't want to do anything funny when he was almost sure that he could get away from here with his life.

"What is it?" He didn't waste any time because he felt that the sooner he answered Ajax's question, the quicker he would go away from here. So, he asked about the question.

"Good. I think it is not a mistake to let you live," Ajax revealed a small smile on his face and he continued with his question, "So, from your three purposes, do you have any idea about the how many of them are fulfiled?"

After knowing about the purposes of the demon army's invasion, he wanted to know how the progress on each of the purposes.

He was sure about the last one, that was the entrance to the ownerless dimensional crevice was still not found and he wanted to know about the other two purposes.

'I didn't expect that the old guild master fought with the sixth demon king and ended up in a draw with some internal injuries. Now, I am also curious about his injuries,' Even Ajax wanted to know about the old guild master's injuries. 

"Huh? Only one of them is completed and that was the old guild master's injuries didn't heal and he still needs a couple of years to completely heal his injuries and reach his peak form," The main demon general answered without thinking much as he felt there was nothing wrong in giving that data as it was not a confidential data.

'Oh,' Ajax felt disappointed to hear that but still, he could not do much as he nodded his head at the main demon general.

As he was hearing to the main demon general's words, Ajax heard Volcanis voice and sensed the danger. So, he caught the main demon general and jumped away from the position.

'Demon king'

The main demon general became excited when he saw the incoming demon as he silently muttered in his head.

"What happened to the house?" Just like Damon, Hector also shocked and soon remembered the reason for the destruction of the wooden house and started sweating a lot.

"What do you think will happen to us if Elder Boron sees this?" Damon moved towards the destroyed wooden house as he asked Hector about it.

"I guess, we will know what he will do to us in a few moments," Hector looked into the distance and saw two familiar figures coming towards him and Damon.

The two familiar silhouettes belong to an old man and a young man.

They were none other than Elder Boron and Jason. Elder Boron signalled Jason to stop moving forward and he continued moving towards Hector and Damon alone.

Looking at Elder Boron, Damon became silent as he didn't know what to say because they were the ones who destroyed the wooden house.

"Looks like you two are ready for the punishment...Haha," 

When Elder Boron saw the silent Hector and Damon, he laughingly said to them.

Jason, who was some distance away from the Elder Boron and the other two revealed a cunning smile when he heard Elder Boron's words.
